“Christopher provided great care to my cats while I was away for a while. He made sure to give them extra attention and love! I appreciate the updates on the rover cards, especially the adorable pictures he took. He always arrived on time to feed the cats. They seemed well taken care of when I arrived back home. One of my cats didn't want him to leave and kept wanting attention from him. Thank you for being there for the cats!”

“Due to my job she wasn’t able to meet my dogs prior and they were comfortable enough with her to go outside with her. (My older dog can be wary of new people sometimes)”

“Kathryn was awesome in coming to watch our cats while we were away. We have one cat that needs medication and she had no hesitation on making it happen. The cats loved her and she sent us a bunch of photos every visit. We appreciated her thoroughness and detail in caring for our home since we sometimes come home to unwanted surprises around the house lol. We highly recommend her!”

About: I used to have two dogs I took care of when parents are away. I've also worked in a veterinary office which had me working with all dogs small or large. I'm very active with my dogs and love to run with them. I have experience training puppies and all the tricks to make them feel right at home. I have also administered medication before to my dogs. I am an event coordinator so my schedule is very fluid, I make my own hours. I prefer to walk dogs before and after work since I work over in Belmont. I will be working dog walking hours into my schedule so I can be very flexible. My dogs are always welcome to new dogs. I have two 13 year old jack Russell's! I don't have much of a backyard but always walk my dogs all around the block about five times a day. I like being active with the dogs, it's so good for their health. Also love taking dogs to Cos Cob Park.
“Alicia is an amazing pet sitter. She took care of my three kittens including my senior cat that is sick and we couldn't be more grateful for all of her help! We have a few special requests for him that can be a lot to ask and she did them without any issues! We will most definitely keep booking with her. I 100% recommend her service”

“Stephen was great at taking care of our cat. Very communicative, consistent, and reliable. Would definitely ask for his help again! We had peace of mind while we were away for several days. Stephen gave detailed updates and pictures after each visit.”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and grew up with three dogs and two cats, which gave me a strong foundation in caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I also regularly help care for my sister’s large dogs, so I’m comfortable handling bigger breeds and energetic pups. For the past 8 years, I’ve been a proud dog mom to my own dog, Gus. Caring for Gus has given me hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, administering basic care, and understanding a dog’s individual needs. I genuinely love spending time with animals and treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, and companionship throughout the day. Because I’m home most of the time, pets are rarely left alone for extended periods and can maintain their normal routines. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, cuddle time, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special needs to ensure they feel comfortable and secure. I provide a calm, loving environment and will treat your pet like a member of my own family.

Ziyi is absolutely amazing! She takes care of our two corgis during the week while we’re in the office, and they absolutely adore her. She spends so much time with them during each visit and genuinely cares for them as if they were her own. From the very beginning, she was incredibly thorough during our meet-and-greet, which gave us complete confidence that she was the perfect fit for our pups. She is reliable, caring, communicative, and someone we fully trust with our dogs and our home. We are so grateful for everything she does and highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional pet care. Thank you for everything, Ziyi! ❤️🐾

Tiffany was absolutely fantastic!!!!! I legit found her at the last minute and she saved my weekend. I just moved into an apartment in charlotte as well and haven’t had guests and through all the stress of getting in with codes and what not and where to even walk my dog ( which was vague “um outside” ) she championed through it and did a phenomenal job! Not only did she respond promptly and show up she went above and beyond and sent feedback with things that I wasn’t even aware of that could help me with my fur babies. And this has to be mentioned but she also knew i was struggling financially and suggested 30 min visits which also gave me room to breathe. All in all she was absolutely lovely and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service and care I received from her. Tiffany is a gem and you would be lucky to have her !!!! ☺️

Haley was soo sweet to Carter! She came early, sent me photos from her visit, and even sent me a message before she left!! Carter was so happy and well taken care of when I got home from work. I would definitely trust her with any of my pets and hope to book her again soon!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Charlotte with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
