About: As a lifelong animal lover, I’ve spent years caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, reptiles, and other small animals. I currently manage a busy homestead and rabbitry, giving me extensive hands-on experience with feeding schedules, medication administration, cleaning routines, and monitoring animal health and behavior. I have experience working with puppies, senior pets, and animals that require extra patience and attention. I am also actively involved in service dog training, which has strengthened my understanding of positive reinforcement, consistency, and animal behavior. I treat every pet as if they were my own and prioritize safety, comfort, exercise, and plenty of love while you’re away. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, cuddles, or specialized care, I am committed to providing dependable and compassionate service As a recent high school graduate with a flexible schedule, I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets. Animals are a daily part of my life through my dog, rabbitry, cats, chickens, and other pets. I am available for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship while making sure each pet’s routine stays consistent and stress-free. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with patience, kindness, and respect. Through owning and caring for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles, and poultry, I have developed a strong understanding of animal behavior and daily care needs. I am also actively involved in training my service dog, which has taught me the importance of consistency, positive reinforcement, and safety. I follow all owner instructions carefully and provide regular updates so you can feel confident that your pet is receiving the best possible care.

Hilary is amazing! This was our first time using her for our cat Ruben, and it was an awesome experience. Her communication was wonderful from start to finish and we loved all the pics of our sweet boy. She even brought the mail and packages in for us and a toy so she could play with Ruben. We will definitely be using her again, 10/10 recommend!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. I used to have a sweet girl named Susie who filled my heart with love and taught me so much about patience, responsibility, and compassion. After she passed away three years ago, I’ve continued caring for pets belonging to neighbors, friends, and family whenever they go out of town. Whether it’s walking, feeding, bathing, or giving extra cuddles, I treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m dependable, attentive, and make sure pets feel comfortable, loved, and safe while their owners are away. From energetic puppies to calm senior dogs, I’m experienced in adapting to each pet’s unique personality and needs. I do have a puppy named cocoa as of December 2025. She is the light of our lives!! We love her so much. I work from home three days a week and go into the office twice, so I have a very flexible schedule! On my work-from-home days, I’m available all day to give your pup plenty of love, walks, and attention. Even on my office days, I can still accommodate morning, evening, and overnight visits as needed. Your pet will always be in a safe, supervised environment where they can feel right at home. I’m attentive, caring, and but most importantly will love your fur babies like they’re my own. I can also easily crate your dog if needed or follow any specific routines you prefer.

About: Hi everyone! My name is McKenna. I have been a registered nurse in the Charlotte area for 5 years. I have had dogs all my life, walked dogs through Wag all during college, and now have a golden retriever of my own. Dogs have definitely always been a huge part of my life! Being a dog mom, I understand how scary it can be to trust someone else with your pup. My own experience with Rover and the amount of love Sully received from his sitter put me at ease. I strive to do the same for other pet parents!! I only work 3 days a week, so drop in visits or walks are the perfect way to spend my days off. :) I’m a registered nurse working 3 days a week, so I have plenty of time to spend on my days off caring for your pups. I understand how important it is for pet owners to feel at ease when they’re away (been there!), and my goal is always to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for. As a nurse, I’m naturally very dependable, detail-oriented, and used to being trusted with important responsibilities. I bring that same level of care and attention when looking after someone’s pet. I know dogs feel most comfortable when their routine stays the same, so I always follow the owner’s instructions closely for walks, feeding, and playtime. I keep things calm and positive so the dog feels safe with me. I give dogs time to warm up to me, especially if they’re shy at first, and I use play, treats (if allowed), and walks to help them relax. Since I have a young golden retriever of my own, I understand how important it is to know your dog is being cared for with patience and kindness.

I’m well versed in caring for newborns and senior pets with complex medical conditions and needs. If you name a pet emergency I’ve probably lived through it. I’m a true animal lover that has the knowledge to treat your best friends with the love, care, and compassion. I’m currently studying online for my masters so my schedule is very flexible and mobile during the week and weekends. I’m available early mornings and late nights with minimal notice and can make emergency visits if needed. I have experience pet, plant, and home sitting. I can walk, feed, and medicate. About: I work part-time at a doggie daycare (best job EVER); where I care for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments—from playful puppies to seniors, and from super social pups to those who need a little more patience and understanding. My hands-on experience has taught me how to read body language, manage multiple dog’s play safely, and provide individualized care for each dog’s unique personality. Whether your pup needs structured walks, calm companionship, or just someone to keep their routine steady while you’re away, I’m here to help. Whether it’s drop-in visits, overnight stays, or in-home boarding, I plan my pet sitting schedule around my work to make sure your pet receives the attention, exercise, and love they deserve. I always allow time for feeding, walks, medication (if needed), and quality one-on-one time. If your pet has a specific routine or care needs, I’m happy to work with you to make sure everything stays consistent while you’re away. I’ll come to your home for drop-ins, walks, or overnight stays, helping maintain your pet’s normal routine in their own space. This is ideal for pets who are more relaxed at home or who need a schedule and do not like change. Some dogs suffer from severe anxiety being in new territory so sometimes it’s best to have your pup stay in their home to make it easier on them. Of course the same goes for senior pups unless they require substantial care I have the means to actually stay in home and cater to their daily routine as I’ve had several jobs doing so. In my home I offer comfortable, personalized care for dogs or cats who enjoy a cozy, quiet space away from home. I have a dedicated space just for pet guests, where I can safely store their belongings (beds, toys, food, etc.) and give them a calm space to settle in. My home is clean, pet-friendly, and set up with all the essentials for safe and happy boarding, including food/water bowls, toys, and pet-safe cleaning products. If your dog is crate-trained, please provide their crate so they have a familiar, secure space to relax in. I want them to feel as comfortable and at ease as possible during their stay. If they are not crate trained and are a bed cuddler; please just let me know. I don’t mind as mine sleeps with me as well; so don’t ever feel judged based on you letting your dogs sleep with you.

About: I've been a dog owner for most of my life of all sizes and age. I will also care for cats! I am very flexible with availability. I can care for your dog pretty much anytime. I do not have any pets at my home. The condo in live in is spacious and dog friendly. The condo complex area is private and secluded with lots of outdoor space to walk and play. I will give your dog as much exercise and love he/she needs. I have taken dog training classes and I have also worked with more difficult dogs that might need a particular care plan. My goal is to care for your dog in ways that make you and your dog happy. I love dogs and I will love and care for yours to the fullest. I work three 12 hour shifts per week that are not always on the same days of the week so I will not be available on those 3 days 6am-8pm. I can always do a drop in visit after work if needed. I have a super friendly newfiedoodle pup that loves to meet new people and dogs. She is also crate trained and working on getting her service trained. Rebecca was amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better person to care for Nala while we were away. Since Nala is a very routine oriented dog, Rebecca did a fantastic job maintaining her daily schedule and keeping her comfortable. Nala usually takes time to trust new people, but she quickly felt safe and cared for with Rebecca, which gave us great peace of mind. Rebecca was also very flexible with scheduling, worked great with the hours we needed, and was always available to answer any questions or address any concerns. She was attentive, patient, and genuinely cared for Nala as if she were her own. We highly recommend her and would absolutely book with her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Lake Wylie with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
