“Melissa has been wonderful with our puppy! We’ve booked her twice now for midday drop ins, and she’s been so great about giving him a much needed potty break and some playtime while we’re working. She’s super communicative, sends the cutest photos, and we feel like Scout is in great hands with her. We’ll definitely be using Melissa again!”

About: I have a two year old and a 9 month old dog, both girls. I also foster dogs, have been for close to a year now. I love dogs and would love to watch over your fur baby while you are away and rest assured they will be babied just the same as my own. Please note that I work 9-5 during the week, and come home for about 30-40 minutes for lunch around noon. Typically I am only gone in 3-4 hour stretches. Your dog will not be left alone for longer than a 5-6 hr stretch at the MOST, which is typically ok for an adult dog but I really try to avoid that at all costs for both my babies and yours. I am home in the evenings Mon-Fri, work from home on Friday, and home most of the weekend. I do work a dinner serving shift at the restaurant on Saturdays but hoping to stop that soon as dog sitting picks up. Your dog will either be crated or separated into their own room while I am away to keep everyone safe, we can discuss what works best for your dog. I have crates for all dog sizes. Must be (mostly) potty trained and must be spayed/neutered. I work 9-5 during the week, and come home for about 30-40 minutes for lunch around noon. Typically I am only gone in 3-4 hour stretches. I have extra rooms, baby gates, and play pens. Everyone gets fed separately to avoid any kind of resource guarding. All dogs get at least a 30 minute walk per day and of course lots of play time with me and/or my dogs. Will happily follow whatever instructions you provide for your pet. Their comfort and safety are my top priorities, and I’ll make sure they feel secure, loved, and cared for in my home. Walking/drop in: will make sure to follow your instructions. Lots of play and love.
“As long as Katherine is available (which she is very often) then we will be booking her as she takes great care of our cats, sends detailed updates, and shares wonderful photos.”

“Thank you Justin for watching my puppy for an entire week. Justin also came to visit Jared the day before we left so he could see and smell him. Jared immediately liked Justin. Justin also volunteered to watched Jared an additional day for me. I will definitely be using Justin in the future. I really appreciate him for helping me.”

“Miroslava did a super fantastic job in taking care of Hoffy! We traveled for our baby shower and had the peace of mind we needed to focus on it while we knew Hoffy was in good hands. She even brought Hoffy treats! How sweet is that! Hoffy was super happy when we came and it seems that playing with Miroslava rubbed off because she’s been super happy and loving all week. 100% recommended!!”

About: As a teen I loved to help walk neighborhood dogs before working in childcare 9+ years. I say pet care isn’t far from caring for babies. I am just whom you are looking for to care for your fur family members’ I’m Nora and I’m job hunting for remote work at the moment, so lots of time for pet care and walks. My full-time Rover care schedule is Sun-Fri and any boarding options are open after August 10th 2024. Thank you for reading through my profile! I have a semi attached home with an unfenced back yard and a safe shady neighborhood for strolling around in. A crate is needed for overnight boarding.

Mary was amazing taking care of our lab mix and is such an obvious animal lover! Our dog acted like she had found a new bestie from the moment she arrived to meet her. Mary was highly responsive and communicated clearly over the long weekend we were away. She went above and beyond, even giving Sweetie a play date with her dog. I didn’t have to worry about my dog being depressed or lonely while I was away. We are so grateful to have had Mary take care of Sweetie for us!
Michael was amazing and flexible. He bounded with our sweet boy Jackson!! We were updated and we had full confidence that Michael had everything under control. Michael is great with big dogs and has a great touch with them. We definitely will be using Michael again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
