Growing up I did a lot of farm sitting and so I am used to juggling quite a few animals at a time. About: My family loves to run around and play games with furry friends, and there’s always time to snuggle up on the couch. I only take one dog at a time, which allows me to offer focused care to your pet. I have taken care of family and friends’ pets for over 20 years, and would love to help out your family! I am a teacher, and have very flexible summer hours. I can accommodate whatever you need during June-August. During the school, year I am available in the afternoons. About: I’ve cared for pets for decades! I’ve cared for cats, dogs, reptiles, fish, rats, bunnies, and more! I’ve cared for all ages and needs levels of dogs and cats. I’ve cared for anxious pets who won’t eat and laid-back let’s who just want cuddles! All animals welcome! Over the summer in free quite a bit! I will have a few things planned here or there but I’m super flexible. During the school year, evenings and weekends are best. I live in an apartment so having your pets in my home will be more difficult but not impossible. I would prefer your home because the pets will be more comfortable and relaxed! About: I’ve cared for everything from tiny bottle-fed kittens and puppies to vocal Australian Shepherds, senior pets, my diabetic cat (including administering insulin), chickens, reptiles, and even a tarantula back in my school days. From young pets to wise seniors, I’m steady, patient, and love adapting to each personality—and special needs are no problem at all. It fits into my daily routine. I take care of two cats, an 18 month old girl named Pepa. Very vocal, demanding, and playful. I also take care of my diabetic cat sikes. He is a thirteen year old ragdoll. Administering his insulin shots 12 hours apart and feeding him 3 times a day. I work from 8:30-5:15 pm M-F as I work an office job. After and before that I’m typically at home. I’m more than willing to meet you and your pet family before you decide to work with me. I want to make sure that you feel confident in my abilities and trust me with your loved ones. Due to my senior cat I am unable to care for your pets at my home. Although I am down for just about anything else. About: I have pet sat my whole life. I was the neighborhood dog watcher growing up and I never stopped. Most recently I dog sat for a family in blowing rock, by the time I was done with college, I had watched 5 other families pets on their street! I also grew up always having many animals. We have had horses, cats, dogs, bunnies and fish. My favorite pet sitting gig was out in harmony NC. I stayed a week on their farm and took care of this families 7 dogs and 5 horses! It was a dream. About: For as long as I can remember I’ve enjoyed the company of animals over that of people. And after too many years in corporate America (tech recruiting) I’m looking to work with pets and enjoy life again. In recent years I have watched my cousins four cats, as well as friends puppies and dogs for trips and cared for my family’s labs throughout the years. About: Years ago, my mother and I owned a boarding kennel and I was a professional groomer. Now I am semi-retired and loving spending time with furry friends! I am familiar with all breeds and love them all! We have always had a pet in our home and would love to provide care while you have to be away. I currently work outside the home for a partial day on Mondays. Other than errands and appointments, I am home all day to interact with your fur baby! Should an emergency come up, I am available. All our furry guests are treated like family. We have a large fenced in yard with no steps for the older fur babies. We own a cat that pretty much keeps to herself. We are good with pets of all ages and understand they all need different levels of care. We are empty nesters, so have the time and energy to keep up with any needs your pet may have. With the exception of Mondays, someone is home all day to provide personal care and supervision for your pet. Mondays Alice works outside the home for a partial day and pets would need to be left alone for 4-6 hours, or she would need to be able to bring your pet (only one) to work with her. Both Alice and Don love animals and provide a nurturing and loving environment for your pet in their home with regular potty breaks in their fenced in back yard.
