About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who genuinely enjoys caring for pets like they’re part of the family. I’ve had animals my entire life and understand how important it is to know your pet is safe happy and well cared for while you’re away. I work from home, which means your pet would get plenty of attention, companionship, and regular potty breaks throughout the day – no long stretches alone. Whether it’s playtime, walks or just relaxing together, I’ll make sure each pet feels comfortable and cared for in a calm, loving environment. My daughter also shares my love for animals and enjoys helping care for them after school. Spending time with Pettit something she truly looks forward to, and she brings lots of extra playtime, affection, and energy! We’ve helped friends and family with their pets for years, and we love getting to know each animals, unique personality. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, or prefers a quieter routine, will make sure they feel right at home. I’d love to meet you and your pet! I work from home so I am available to take the dogs out for walks and play time several times through the day. I don’t go out of town often so am available most times through the year. I have a fenced in backyard and a quiet street to take walks on. My bedroom is the perfect spot for them to sleep, either in their crate, on my floor with a blanket or in bed with me if they like to snuggle.

It was also the first time Mary spent an extended period of time with another dog. Their dog Scout was great with Mary. I received several pictures of Mary being loved on and playing well with Scout. “Wynde was fantastic! We left her with our foster dog, who is still transitioning from crisis and kennel life to our home ( 6 weeks) and then to hers for a long weekend. Wynde was so accommodating, as with her family and pets. She was flexible with my schedule changes leaving and coming back in town; went above and beyond with making emotional space for our foster to feel in control, and welcoming any small act toward connection from our foster. “Kept Ari in Ana’s place for the first time. We liked the setting the moment we walked into her house as she was friendly and they have a dog and her young son liked Ari! Also we did not want a fenced backyard as it’s too hot at this time of the year for any dog to be kept outside in the yard :-) Ana kept us updated all through out Ari’s stay and her meals as Ari is very picky about her food. Ari came back home happy and we could feel that!! Ana and her family is great and we would highly recommend and would be seeking her service again in the future.”
About: Hi! Last year my 3 year old pup Cora accompanied me on a 6-month, 1800 mile thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. That experience gave me so much time to focus on how to best meet her needs, including socialization, recall, and the obedience needed to stay safe and calm in new situations. Now I am back and I would love to spend some quality time with yours too! - I enjoy taking care of cats as well, which I have had many of throughout my life. More recently I have some done newborn kitten fostering, and support my teenager daughter’s grassroots TNR program. I am currently working part-time and will open my calendar for clients to book as my schedule allows. I may have more availability or flexibility than what the calendar shows, so feel free to reach out and ask! I tend to have an easy time gaining the trust of my new furry playmates, especially when I bring treats, but I am also careful to follow all dietary needs and any other requests from the owner. I know how important it is to be able to trust that your sitter will take care of your pet with kindness and respect. :)

Carson was absolutely amazing with Lola during our 12-day trip. Leaving your dog that long is nerve-wracking, but she made the entire experience so much easier and more comfortable for me. Carson was patient, attentive, and really took the time to learn Lola’s routine and personality quirks. She treated her like her own instead of just “watching a dog.” Lola can be particular sometimes, and Carson handled everything so well.
