About: I have taken care of and pet sat mat dogs of different sizes from a big German shepherd to a tinny little Chihuahua so there is no dog to big or to small for me to take care of I just graduated high school and am applying to college but I won’t be able to go until next year so until then I’ll be free the whole year unless my family needs me When it comes to taking care of any pets even my own I make sure to keep them on the same schedule they are used to as to make sure they don’t get stressed I also make sure to set alarms for set feeding times of any animal I watch over as well as playing with them and taking them out to use the bath room as needed I also will make sure that if I pet sit over night at someone’s house that the house will be perfectly clean when they come back and that there animal will be happy no matter what.
“Jordan has an amazing way with my high-energy, anxious rescued Aussie. Lilly was content, relaxed and happy when I came home. Gone was the usual anxiety I am typically greeted with! Lilly looks forward to seeing Jordan and we can both tell she loves working with dogs. I greatly appreciate her help!”

About: I love pets so much because they make me happy and I currently can’t afford any so I made this account to spend more time with pets and help account money for my college debt I am a student in college and I cannot afford my own pet so I will be able to spend time caring for pets as I love them I will spend time with the pet all day long as I just love animals and I will make sure they are safe and cared for
About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. Growing up we always had dogs/cats/fish. I am very active and love going on walks/runs. I'd be happy to have your pup tag along. I am familiar with puppies all the way to hospice senior dogs. More recently, we had to let our 14.5 years old bulldog go due to kidney failure. I am experienced in routines, meds, special harnesses, & subcutaneous fluid IVs. I like to live an active lifestyle outside of my 8-5 job. While with your pups, we can go on numerous “snifaris” - play fetch or keep away in a fenced yard - or even just snuggle on thr couch & watch tv! I currently don't have any pets. I live in a 3-story townhome with a minimal yard with no fence - but plenty of common areas and leashed walking space.
“Laura was a huge help with my cat when I went out of town for a few days. She sent lots of pictures and updates and made being away much less stressful!! Highly recommend!”

“Hope is a rock star! My kitty loves when they come to visit. I never have to worry about the little nugget and Hope sends excellent pictures and report card updates. Couldn’t recommend more!”

About: I've taken care of others pets for many years and will love them and care for them as if they were my own! I have a four year old spoiled rotten mini dachshund named Winnie, a black cat named Sweetie and a leapard gecko! My neighborhood also has a private pond and walking trail so if your baby loves to go for walks then this is the place for them. I am currently a stay at home mom with three older children that are in school the majority of the day. I will be home to love and care for your pet and give them all the attention they deserve without distractions I have a fenced in backyard with a loving dog of my own to keep your pet company! I only take on 2 to 3 dogs at a time so I can accommodate any specific requests needed for your fur baby such as crating, specific dietary requests, ect. I also have lots of ramps and stairs for smaller dogs and a gate that blocks my staircase leading upstairs.
“Blair was great! She sent me many photos and comments of my kitties from each visit. One of my cats is diabetic and needs two shots of insulin a day, and she did a great job! He came right to her and loved up on her!”

“Jane came by before my trip to learn about my cat Pearl and her habits. Jane was very easy to work with and very likable. She visited Pearl for 6 days, leaving new food and water. Pearl hid from Jane every time, but Jane texted a Pic of the new fday's food and water. I will definitely use Jane again! Thanks Jane”

About: I’m new to rover, but I’m anything but new to pet care! I grew up taking care of all sorts of animals — goats, ferrets, guinea pigs, lizards, you name it! And in the last ten years, I’ve unintentionally built up quite a resume with pet sitting just because of my passionate love for animals. I am many pet owners’ go-to for pet sitting because they trust me to take care of their fur babies in the exact way they would, so you can trust me too:) My husband currently provides the only source of income for us, so my goal with Rover is to turn my pet sitting hobby into a little bit of extra income for us. Since I have no other job, I am free as a bird with an open and flexible schedule! I can easily adapt to your schedule and your pets’ needs:) I can easily provide whatever is needed for your pet. Your pet can run freely inside or be crated to your preference. The only thing I can’t provide is a fenced in yard, but our yard is huge and far from neighbors, and I have a totally free schedule to walk and entertain your pet however much you’d like. If I am coming to your home, you can trust me to follow whatever directions you have. You can also trust me to never take on more pets than I can handle just for the sake of the money, because my main objective is to provide excellent care above all else! We have one medium-sized dog, but he stays with “grandma and grandpa” while I am pet sitting unless of course you request for your pet to have some company!
About: My name is Andy and I love to cat/dog sit, play and walk dogs. I grew up with cats and dogs and started taking care of neighbor’s animals while in high school. Since I do not currently have any pets, I am blessed to spend time with other animals. I look forward to meeting your furry friends. Hello, I live in Indian Trail and work in Monroe M-F 8-5 with very limited availability to walk dogs during these times. I love you walk in the evenings and can walk after6:00pm. I love cats and dogs as members of my family and no longer have fur babies of my own. I look forward to meeting your furry friends and have time to play with them and give them the love they deserve!

Natalie went above and beyond for my pets! My dog has a sensitive stomach and had some issue while we were gone and she took such great care of her. I can tell she genuinely really cares for animals. It’s so hard to trust your pets with someone new, but you can trust Natalie!

Laura was AMAZING. This was our first time using rover for a sitter and i was super nervous leaving our babies. She did drop in visits for our two dogs and kitten. She went over and beyond! After the first drop in visit, my nerves were put to ease and I knew we picked the right person to check in on our fur babies. They all loved her and she loved all of them. Recommend 1000 percent!!

Reagan was amazing. This whole experience having a pet sitter through Rover and choosing Reagan to come take care of our babies was so worry free. Our pets absolutely loved her and she gave excellent updates on them while we were gone. We will definitely be booking Reagan again!

Jordan was wonderful with all our animals! She took care of our 3 cats and a bearded dragon. Everything was cleaned with care and attention. It relieving to get back from a trip and all is well at home. All instructions were followed and we couldn't have asked for anyone better. Thank you Jordan!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Stallings. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
