About: I have been around animals my entire life and grew up caring for dogs, cats, hamsters, and even reptiles. Over the past five years, my family has had a full house of pets, including one dog, two cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, and a chameleon, so I’m very comfortable with a variety of animals and their unique needs. In 2021, I completed training to have my golden retriever certified as a therapy dog. After becoming licensed, she worked alongside me in public schools, where she provided comfort and support to students. That experience strengthened my skills in handling, training, and understanding animals while ensuring they feel safe, calm, and well cared for. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I work from home, which allows me to give animals plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins to make sure pets are comfortable and well cared for. Since I’m home most of the time, pets are rarely left alone and can enjoy a calm, consistent environment. Caring for animals is already part of my daily life with our own pets, so adding additional pet care feels like a natural extension of our routine. I am a teacher, and have very flexible summer hours. I can accommodate whatever you need during June-August. During the school, year I am available every afternoon after 3pm.
