I have two male dachshunds. I have had the. since they were puppies. I had three, but my oldest passed away on Dec. 16, 2025. He was 13 years old and I have had him since I was 21 years old. My second oldest is 12 years old and the youngest is 4 years old. The dogs are allowed on furniture. We have ramps to help them onto the couch and they have a nice ramp up to a comfy window bed area. Our dogs love sleeping there and looking out the window. I am used to dogs with health issues. My oldest dog, Odie, had a very sensitive stomach and had to have a strict diet or he got pancreatitis. Our youngest has had back surgery and was paralyzed and slowly regained mobility. Taking care of dogs with health issues is not a problem for me. When booking with me. Let me know about your pets personality. Be specific with eating schedule. We have a big backyard that is perfect for exploring and running around. When the dogs get hot, we have a small pool that my dog Oscar loves to jump in to cool off.

Kristian is amazing. She watched 2 of our dogs and what a great experience. She was loving and patient with our 1 dog that is very shy and my pup let herself be pet which usually doesn’t happen until a few visits. We recd pictures several times as well as videos and updates letting us know all was going great. I highly recommend Kristian- just wow !!
Kristian is awesome! Our dog loved being at her home. She sent photos and kept me updated the entire time we had him there. He fit right into her family. So sweet! Definitely would recommend!

Our big girl takes some time to warm up to a place but she just loved it here. Kristain was quick to communicate with us and sent us updates and pictures daily. We could see our dog felt like she was at a resort. She loved it. We highly recommend!
Kristian and her family are THE BEST! For smaller or medium sized dogs, this is a safe, fun, happy place with the family’s sweetest dogs, tons of room to run in a huge backyard, and so much love and attention. Chloe thinks it’s Christmas when we take her!!!

Schedule
I am 35 years old and live with my husband, 40 years old. We have 2 kids. I taught Elementary School for 12 years and beginning 2026 resigned to stay home with my youngest. I will be home all day to make sure your dog is loved on and gets plenty of outside time. My dogs have a ramp leading up to the window where they also sleep on a platform. The perfect spot for small dogs to look out the window and sleep. I have 5 dog beds. Plenty to pick from. I do allow dogs on the couch. If it's okay with you.

We have a BIG backyard and your dog will get lots of loves at my house. We are big dog lovers. I live with my husband and two children. I have a 6 year old and a 3 year old who are gentle with dogs. My 6 year old actually has her own dog. The youngest dachshund, Jack, is hers. They have a great bond and he always sleeps in her bed at night. Oscar likes to sleep in our bed.

A typical day
The dogs will be able to explore and run around the backyard, play fetch and play with dog toys. They can sit happily inside and relax if that is what they prefer. I will spoil your dog like I would want mine to be spoiled. Loved on, petted, cuddled with, and played with.
