About: I’ve been pet sitting for approximately 8 years, beginning in middle school when I started helping my mom care for pets in our community. Over the years, I’ve gained experience caring for dogs, cats, and other household pets with a variety of personalities, ages, and needs. I provide dependable, loving care and treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether it’s drop-in visits, walks, feeding, administering basic medications, playtime, or overnight stays, I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and happy while their owners are away. I also believe communication is important, so I provide regular updates and photos to give pet parents peace of mind while they’re away from home. 🐾❤️ I have a flexible schedule and am able to accommodate pet care visits throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings depending on the day. I am available for drop-in visits, dog walking, and pet sitting, and I do my best to adjust my schedule with advance notice when needed. I am reliable, consistent, and always communicate clearly about my availability so pet parents know what to expect. environment in every visit. I always follow each pet’s routine closely and make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for while their owner is away. I pay close attention to detail, keep doors and entry points secure, and treat every home with respect. I also make sure pets are supervised during visits and receive patient, attentive care based on their individual needs and personality. My goal is to create a safe and stress-free experience for both pets and their owners.
About: I have been taking care of family dogs and my neighbors dogs since I was 10. I also raised my puppy since she was 4 weeks old. I am currently not working so I have open availability preferably mornings and afternoons. I am willing to work around your schedule as well if needed. I have a big yard with a 6foot tall fence, so they have freedom in the backyard to play and run. I also am cautious with the animals when they are outside.
“Brittany did a great job this weekend. She is so attentive to our dogs needs and likes. I highly recommend her if your dogs are as big a part of your family as ours are.”

About: I have dog sat for several friends and family for many years. I'm very active and love walking, running, and hiking. Your dog will get lots of exercise! I have a Chihuahua and love taking care of her. I always have treats and a tennis ball on me. I currently live Uptown, but my kids go to school in Matthews M-F. I'm looking for a flexible gig that will pass time in the area, so I can be around for my kids, and not have to go back and forth from Uptown to Matthews. I regularly take walks at Squirrel Lake Park for the Greenway, and Colonel Beatty Park for the trails. Having the company of your pooch would be wonderful! I take my dog, Callie, on 2-3 mile long walks daily. She is very healthy and happy and your dog will be too. I'm happy to walk your dog with her if they need company, or solo.
“Eli’s wonderful! She’s incredibly reliable and prompt, and her communication is always excellence. I never have to wonder how things are going or whether our pups have been taken care of. I know I can count on her. She truly spends time with our pups, giving them lots of love attention and of course, a few treats! 😊 Eli is always very attentive to our home, which gives me such peace of mind when we’re away. I especially appreciate that she’s willing to help with light household tasks when we’re gone for an extended period. One of my favorite things is getting pictures of the pups! Seeing their happy faces and knowing they’re enjoying their time with Eli makes being away a little easier. Eli’s dependable, caring, attentive, and someone I completely trust with both of our pups and our home. We’re so grateful to have her and would absolutely recommend her!”

About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals isn't just something I do—it's part of who I am. As a mom of four and the owner of three dogs, along with fish and frogs, I'm used to providing consistent, attentive care every day. Over the years I've also cared for rabbits, turtles, cats, birds, gerbils, ferrets, giving me experience with a variety of pets and their unique needs. I have a special place in my heart for rescue animals and understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or needs extra patience, I'll treat them with the same love, respect, and attention I give my own. I know how important it is to trust someone with a member of your family. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience while keeping you updated with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind while you're away. Pet sitting fits perfectly into my schedule because I'm a stay-at-home mom with flexibility during the day. My children are in school, which gives me plenty of time to provide attentive care, walks, playtime, feedings, and check-ins without feeling rushed. Because I have a flexible schedule, I'm often available for daytime visits, and last-minute requests when my calendar allows. I understand that pets thrive on routine, and I'm committed to giving them the time, attention, and affection they deserve while you're away. During the week not available much after 2; however, I can be flexible on the weekends. I have a very busy household with 4 children (15,15,13,8) and 3 dogs (2 chiweenies 10lb, 16lb & 1 rescue pup about 30 lbs. So, staying at my place wouldn't work for most animals- but not opposed with it for special circumstances. My yard is fenced in.
“Justin was very responsive and stepped in same day after our usual sitter had to cancel last minute due to illness. He kept in great contact and sent updates on our pups. Both boys were well cared for and happy when we got home. Justin also brought in a package and closed the garage door we accidentally left open. I’d definitely book with Justin again and would highly recommend him. Thanks for caring for our babies!”

About: I’ve taken care of several types of dogs throughout the years. I have also owned a few. Family and friends rely on me to take care of their babies when they’re away. :-) I am retired from the Marine Corps and spend my days volunteering for two organizations and learning to garden. I set my own schedule and that helps me be available to care for your fur babies! I have a fenced yard and live directly across from a dog park. I have two fur babies of my own adding a couple more to the mix will be great! I have all hardwood floors and have no concerns if your pup has an accident.
About: I’ve taken care of family and friends pets for years now and have always loved it since I’m an animal lover at heart. I’ve taken care of everything from high energy pups to bearded dragons! I’m currently working part-time, but i’m always flexible for weekdays. Hopefully I’ll be able to be full time for pets soon! You can always ask me. I currently offer drop-ins and walks! I own a cat with felv who isn’t very fond of other cats or dogs, so I cannot board. Since I have a feline friend who is felv+ i’m very comfortable with administering medications! I always prefer being able to spend as much time with the pets as possible, which I will always be able to provide as many drop-ins as needed!
About: I have had dogs and a cat for years growing up and have also been responsible for taking care of other family/family friends’ pets. I am comfortable around multiple breeds as well:) I am starting a new job as a Physician Assistant that allows for random days during the week off, as well as every other Friday-Sunday off. I would love to fill that time with let’s! I have a family beagle who is notorious for trying to escape. Therefore, I have learned to be extra diligent to prevent little con artists! I will not let your animal get away.
About: I have grew up with dogs and am the proud owner of two Shih Tzu (one of which is currently a puppy). I regularly walk and dog sit for friends and family. I’m happy to work with any age and breed of medium or small sized dog. I am a university student currently enrolled in virtual courses for the summer. My schedule is highly flexible and I am happy to work whenever you need me. I am happy to work with whatever routine and habits your dog is used to. I love playing in enrichment games during drop in visits and walks, and I am comfortable with crateing if requested.

About: I am simply the biggest dog lover there is, there is something about them that makes me a better person. I have to say hi, pet and kiss every single dog I see anywhere. I've had dogs for more than 30 years and always cared for them as my babies. Taking care of someone else's dog gives me the chance to have another furry baby to spoil even if is just for a few days. I can appreciate that all of them have different personalities and needs and I do my best to treat them in such a way that they don't miss their family so much. I know they might be sad so I just do my best to make them feel at home. I work from home, I am very flexible to go visit your puppy early in the morning, lunch time and dinner time. If they are staying with me, they can have multiple outdoor activities. I big have a fenced yard and two super friendly Goldendoodles (boy 6 and girl 9) who are waiting to play and cuddle with your puppy.

About: Animal loving family. My girls started this as a summer job, looking after neighbors pets. Soon the pets started to come home to us and stay with us and our two little Cavalier dogs. I noticed immediately that I really liked having animals around me. You know what they say: "The more the Merrier!" I do recommend a visit to get to know your dog and to see if they get along with my dogs before your first stay. This will make the introduction and stay much easier for your dog. I do not take more than two visitors at a time, and if possible I prefer to take new visitors by themselves until I know their pesonalities to match with other visitors. Requirement: Tick and Flea prevention and to protect my hardwood floors please have their nails trimmed. Home maker that loves animals and are constantly in and around the house. I have three dogs of my own and they need constant attention too! They stay with us in our home and become one of the family. They eat twice a day, sleep in or out of their crate as they are comfortable.

This was our first time using Rover..or any service for our very anxious 8 year old Maltese. Linda was amazing from the start. I highly recommend her. She updated us the entire weekend and we just came home to a very relaxed pup. So grateful for this positive experience because it made going away carefree. Thank you Linda!!

Jamie is wonderful! She went above and beyond to make sure our dog was taken care of while we were away for a week. She's kind, reliable, and ready to help where needed. She provides lots of communication and I know our pup was happy in her care. Will definitely be reaching out to book her again in the future!

We had an excellent experience with our Rover sitter, Zoey - this weekend. From the start, communication was clear and timely. Max was well cared for, happy, and comfortable the entire time we were away. We really appreciated the updates and photos. It gave us total peace of mind. It’s not easy trusting someone with your pet, but she made it effortless. Highly recommend Zoey and will absolutely her book again!

Lauren was an absolutely wonderful pet sitter! Her communication was excellent from start to finish, and we especially loved receiving daily pictures and updates—they gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear our pup was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. Lauren did a fantastic job with walking, feeding, and making sure our dog always had fresh water, but most importantly, she truly showed our baby so much love and attention. You can tell she genuinely cares about the pets she looks after. We will definitely be booking with her again!

Stefany was so sweet with Nala! We wanted someone to keep her company a bit of time throughout the day! She sent so many pictures and videos which kept our minds at peace with seeing Nala so happy! It was a last minute request and Stefany was quick with replying and was always consistent with her time! Would 100% recommend!
