About: I grew up with dogs in my home since I was a child. I moved to Charlotte in 1999 and got my Jack Russell Terrier Norman and he was so loved he lived until 18 1/2! I thought I’d give it some time before I got another dog but we ended up getting Coco two weeks later and Enzo several months later. The humans in my household are me, my husband, Chris and my two teenage sons, Greyson (17) and Cayden (16). We all love dogs! I’ll be the only caregiver of your pet but just wanted to include who else is in our home. I included a lot of photos of Coco & Enzo but also included a lot of the dogs that I’ve cared for in my home for boarding and doggie daycare and also dogs that I’ve walked. Please note that I will only book with someone after we’ve done a meet and greet for my safety and for your peace of mind. I’m a stay at home mom so I’m home to give your dog the care he or she needs. My two dogs are very friendly and love to play! About: I am simply the biggest dog lover there is, there is something about them that makes me a better person. I have to say hi, pet and kiss every single dog I see anywhere. I've had dogs for more than 30 years and always cared for them as my babies. Taking care of someone else's dog gives me the chance to have another furry baby to spoil even if is just for a few days. I can appreciate that all of them have different personalities and needs and I do my best to treat them in such a way that they don't miss their family so much. I know they might be sad so I just do my best to make them feel at home. I work from home, I am very flexible to go visit your puppy early in the morning, lunch time and dinner time. If they are staying with me, they can have multiple outdoor activities. I big have a fenced yard and two super friendly Goldendoodles (boy 6 and girl 9) who are waiting to play and cuddle with your puppy.

About: Growing up, there was always an animal in my house. ❤️ I’ve experience with all sorts from dogs and cats to lizards and fish. I currently own a sweet 3-year old Boykin Spaniel who is the light of my life. I’ve pet sit for many people, whether it be daily visits or staying the night, and I’ve walked (so far) up to five dogs at once with no issue! I’m in shape and ready to walk and play with the most energetic of dogs, and I’m also down to chill out and relax with the shyest of kitties. 😁 I now have a 9-5 job, which has made drop-ins unlikely, but I don’t typically more than 2-3 work days in a week. It’s very likely for me to have Thursday-Sunday completely off! I’m also in the position at work that should half days be necessary so your pet isn’t left alone too long, it may be negotiated with my employer. ❤️ When pet sitting (ie traveling to your house), I have often been asked to stay the night. I have no issue with this, nor if the pet likes sharing the bed. ❤️ I follow whatever their routine is to a T, and am willing to adjust my day to accommodate their schedule if need be. I am open to taking dogs on walks, administering medicine (as I’ve done for a couple cats with great success!) and even taking pets to the groomers!

Through years of training, volunteering, evaluating dogs, and handling my own dogs, I have developed strong skills working with dogs of various temperaments, energy levels, and training backgrounds. I also have experience assisting a professional dog trainer and have worked with a variety of breeds, including working dogs. Whether it’s a high-energy sporting breed, a working breed, or a laid-back companion, I understand that every dog has unique needs and deserves individualized care. In my free time, you’ll often find us volunteering, training, or participating in dog sports. Dock diving and Barn Hunt are among our favorite activities, and I enjoy finding new ways to provide enrichment and mental stimulation for dogs. I work full time and do work with high drive dogs on the weekends (Malinois, GSD). I have also started adventuring in dog sports. If there is an opening in my schedule for in home boarding, I will be home all day. [FOR PETS HOUSED AT MY HOME] I have a fenced-in yard and do not leave pets outside unattended. Safety is my number one priority. I do not leave dogs unattended in the home. If I will not be home for even a short period of time, I will let you know prior to booking an overnight stay. I only accept crate-trained dogs in my home and will crate your furry friend with safe enrichment items if I have to leave for a short period of time. I have cameras throughout my home and on all crates (which are always inside and temperature monitored) so I always know how your furry friend is. For overnight stays in my home, I require that all dogs are up to date with vaccinations and are on flea/tick, and heartworm preventative. I also require a meet and greet in most cases in a neutral environment for your furry friend before booking. I have 2 male dogs of my own and want to ensure your animals get along with mine. I only accept crate trained dogs in my home. I require proof of up to date vaccinations as well flea/tick/heartworm preventative.
About: I am a retired high school math teacher looking for something to fill my days of retirement! I have never met a dog that I didn’t like! I had to be very responsible with my job and will take these skills into watching your dog! I will treat your dog the way that I would want mine to be treated while I am away. We have a house that is dog friendly ! A 6 year old Boston Terrier also lives in the house and is very good with other dogs. I will come to your house to walk your dogs as many times as they need to be walked! I also love to play and cuddle with dogs. I know that they can get very lonely 😞 when owners are away so I will go my best to make them happy! I am currently a retired teacher and can be around for dog care during the day and overnights. I can work my schedule around your dog’s needs. I have a fenced off area in my house for keeping pups and a very nice side yard for pups to play. Lots of nice sidewalks for long walks!
About: I’ve been petsitting intermittently since 2016, when I started taking care of my neighborhood’s various dogs and cats to earn some extra cash in high school. Since then, I’ve found it to be a great way to help supplement my education while allowing me to spend time around a variety of wonderful animals.
