Erica was wonderful. She came to check Mikey, walk with him, and play him for five days. I can tell when I returned home he was happy and well cared for. Thank you so much Erica. I could not have done what I did this week without your help.

Elsie did an amazing job again. We went away for multiple weeks and she was able to check in our pets for such a long time. She even made an extra stop at no charge to double check on one of the pets that was acting a little off. Thank you Elsie!

About: I’ve cared for pets for decades! I’ve cared for cats, dogs, reptiles, fish, rats, bunnies, and more! I’ve cared for all ages and needs levels of dogs and cats. I’ve cared for anxious pets who won’t eat and laid-back let’s who just want cuddles! All animals welcome! Over the summer in free quite a bit! I will have a few things planned here or there but I’m super flexible. During the school year, evenings and weekends are best. I live in an apartment so having your pets in my home will be more difficult but not impossible. I would prefer your home because the pets will be more comfortable and relaxed! Providing the best environment for your pets is my priority.

About: Hi! I have experience with all types of dogs, from high energy breeds with anxiety to calm dogs who just want to relax. I worked at a dog daycare for two years, where I cared for a wide range of personalities and needs. I’ve also been dog sitting for the past four years and truly love what I do. Everyone knows me as the girl who, if there’s a dog around, I’ll find it. Don’t worry, I still talk to people, but I’ll definitely be the one giving the dog the most attention. I have two German Shepherds of my own. One is 12, and the other is 3 with significant anxiety, so I understand how important patience and individualized care are. I’ve been around dogs my whole life and treat them like family. I would love to provide your dog/dogs with attentive, loving care so you can enjoy your time away feeling completely stress free. Pet care fits into my daily life naturally since I’m already used to being around dogs all the time. I plan my day around walks, feeding, and spending time with each dog so they get reliable, focused care every visit. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I try to keep everything as familiar and consistent as possible. I follow their routine, give them attention based on their personality, and make sure they feel calm, safe, and cared for while their owner is gone.

Alison took care of my cat, Wolfgang, for 5 days while I was on a cruise in the Bahamas. Everything looked better than before I left. She cleaned out the old bits and pieces of dry food from his 3 cat treat bowls and the litter box was immaculate. I will definitely plan on using Alison again in the future.

About: I have been around animals my entire life and grew up caring for dogs, cats, hamsters, and even reptiles. Over the past five years, my family has had a full house of pets, including one dog, two cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, and a chameleon, so I’m very comfortable with a variety of animals and their unique needs. In 2021, I completed training to have my golden retriever certified as a therapy dog. After becoming licensed, she worked alongside me in public schools, where she provided comfort and support to students. That experience strengthened my skills in handling, training, and understanding animals while ensuring they feel safe, calm, and well cared for. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I work from home, which allows me to give animals plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins to make sure pets are comfortable and well cared for. Since I’m home most of the time, pets are rarely left alone and can enjoy a calm, consistent environment. Caring for animals is already part of my daily life with our own pets, so adding additional pet care feels like a natural extension of our routine. My home is very pet-friendly and used to having animals around. I have a family of five with three kids ages 11–16 who all love animals and are respectful of their personalities and space. Since I already have pets in our home, I understand the importance of maintaining routines, providing regular feeding times, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on making them feel safe and comfortable, just like part of the family. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions the owner provides. My goal is always to make sure pets feel relaxed, well cared for, and loved while their owners are away.

About: I have been a dedicated dog owner for many years, currently caring for a smart and energetic five-year-old dog who I’ve taught various tricks. My passion for pets extends beyond my own home; I’ve been active on the Rover app for the past three years, gaining extensive experience in pet sitting a wide variety of dogs. I truly enjoy being around animals and am confident in my ability to interact with them. My patience, willingness to get hands-on, and love for walking make me well-suited to provide the best care possible for pets. I recently retired from being an athlete to becoming a photographer. I walk my dog 2x a day. I make sure to play with him and be with him during the days as well. Weekends I usually go on hikes or do something active. As a freelancer, I have a lot of time to take care of another pet. I have a backyard and one super friendly dog that will keep your dog company. I will walk your dog 2x a day and feed him as indicated. I will give your dog the affection it needs while insuring a safe environment. Your dog will be in great hands.

About: I have been caring and sitting for various types of various furry family members since I was a young teen with over a decade of experience (wow, just typing that both aged and hurt me)! I’m also the proud employee of my very own tortoiseshell cat (Kitty) where I live to please her every waking moment so I’m very used to the most fickle and demanding of bosses. As of recently, I’ve been lucky enough to have a much more flexible schedule with that affords me wide timeframes to care for & spend time with furry friends. I’m very diligent with pet parent’s instructions when caring for furry family members and show the utmost of caution, love, and care to meet the needs of my clients whether in their home or mine. I will never accept an opportunity that I can not fully meet the time, needs, expectations, or environment for someone’s loved pet.

This is the first time I have ever left my dog for an extended period of time and was very nervous as my dog is like my child. Sadi has been amazing from the start, she was flexible with my schedule, made it a point to meet my dog before I left, put my mind at ease when I saw how much she loved animals and how much my dog loved her from the moment she walked in. She sent me updates and pictures throughout the visit to ensure me that he was doing well. She even went above and beyond with helping me understand how the whole Rover process works. I am now a loyal customer of Sadi's and will be using her for any future needs. You will not be disappointed with her. She is wonderful!!!

About: **Please note: Due to being pregnant, I am currently only accepting small dogs and well-trained medium to large dogs for the safety of myself and my baby. Thanks for understanding!** I have been around, and cared for, my own dogs since I was a young kid. From 150 lb German Shepherds to 5 lb Yorkies, I have cared for them all! In 2021, I worked as a supervisor as Wickersham’s K9 Ranch in Marshville, NC. I groomed, walked, fed, administered medicine to, played with, and cared for dogs of all breeds! In 2022, I worked at a local dog grooming business, where I extended my knowledge of dog care. Since then, I have offered services on Rover on and off for the past three years, and have a list of references from pet owners, like you, upon request! I currently have two australian cattle dogs of my own; if you know anything about that breed, you know they’re high energy & high maintenance! From puppies to senior dogs, I am well rounded in caring for your furry family member. Thank you for taking the time to consider me! My calendar is currently open to book your doggy needs 24/7! Aside from caring for my own pups and house, I do not have any restrictions in my schedule to keep me from caring for you pup. While my home is currently not open to dog boarding or daycare, it may be in the future! When I come to your house, I will respect any and all rules/boundaries that you set in place, and send adorable pictures of your furry friends! A ton of play time and walks is a must! I will be sure your fur baby feels safe and secure while you’re away!

About: Hello and thank you for viewing my profile! I am a life-long animal lover who would love to provide care for your furry friends! I am well educated and highly experienced in raising, training, and the overall caring for dogs (along with a variety of other animals, ranging everywhere from pet rabbits to snakes lol). My love for animals began at a very early age when my mother started up her own small, in-home dog boarding and grooming business. My childhood was spent playing with, learning about and caring for dogs of all ages, breeds and personalities. Im so grateful for having had the privilege of growing up in such an animal loving environment, which undoubtedly played an immense role in shaping me into the total animal lover I am :) My main passion in life is caring for and spending time with *man’s best friend* <3 I am responsible, reliable, and dedicated. I am also comfortable with administering medications and assisting animals with disabilities. I am currently a part time student trying to earn a little side income doing something I truly enjoy and have a genuine passion for. I do not have any children and currently am not working, so I can devote as much time as possible for caring for your pets :) I’m available literally any time –day or night! This past year I moved to an apartment, so unfortunately am no longer able to sit or board pets in my home :( Luckily (?) I have a terrifying amount of free time lol so I’m basically available any time to take care of your fur baby(ies). I offer check-in visits, dog walking, pet sitting, as well as overnight/extended dog and house sitting.
