About: I have always had some sort of pet in my house! I grew up with dogs and cats and they were an integral part of my life! I have experience working as a dog walker and pet sitter as well as fostering for multiple animal rescues. I am also experienced in administering oral and injectable medications. I recently graduated from grad school and work from home currently. I am home all day everyday and would be happy to take care of your furry friend! I make sure my own animals are introduced to animal guests slowly and carefully. They will never not be monitored together. My personal pets are friendly, but you never know what could happen so I like to stay vigilant!
“Regina is a very kind lady who tries hard to please the cats. She went above and beyond helping our cats! She even helped with an unexpected task too. I would request her again. Thank you Regina!”

“Kyla is heaven sent! I was in a tough situation trying to get my dog comfortable and situated under our circumstances, and Kyla was very patient and caring when it came to getting to know Macho and allowing him to get us to her. He loves her now, and I can definitely see that she genuinely cares about him as well. We appreciate Kyla oh so much! If you’re thinking about booking her.. think no more.”

“Blair was great! She sent me many photos and comments of my kitties from each visit. One of my cats is diabetic and needs two shots of insulin a day, and she did a great job! He came right to her and loved up on her!”

“Madison does a great job. She sent us pictures of the dogs so we had a piece of mind they were doing well. We had used her before and had to book her again last minute this past weekend when our friend fell through. Trustworthy and dependable will def be using her again.”

About: I’ve been fortunate to have the best dogs as pets since I was little. My own pets are cherished family members and I’d love to help walk your dogs and get them outside! I have an adorable rescue golden doodle and a sweet older yellow lab. I love talking them for walks and spending time outside. I currently work from 6:45 am-3:00 pm, but am available for walks after 3:00. During summer, I am available all day. My schedule will be opened up. My own pets are like my children. I take their care and keeping very seriously and have a very close relationship with their vet office. My oldest daughter is in undergrad studying veterinary science.
About: Hi! I'm Nicole and I was born and raised in the Charlotte area and went to Weddington for middle and high school. I left for school at NC State and NC Central to study nutrition and dietetics, and then moved to Nashville before returning to Charlotte (my favorite place to live actually!). I have been caring for pets of all sizes for years -- my parents have a 10 pounds Boston Terrier, and my fiance and I have a 100lb yellow lab and a 60 pound Aussie/Pomeranian. I also watch our neighbors chickens! I work remotely, so I am the main caretaker of all pets and I love it :) Let me know how I can help you! I work remotely according to my own schedule, which I get to create myself. I do love a good routine, but I am easily able to adjust as we go with the flow because of my job. Consistent schedules are fun and easy for me to fit into my weekly work routine, but since I work on the go, I'm able to adjust as you need! I am able to travel as needed to assist you with your pet needs. I work with high security information, so I am very aware of security measures and safety within the home. Let me know how I can assist you to ensure your comfortability, cleanliness, and consistency in pet care :)

“Journey was awesome with our kitty cats. She instantly clicked with both of them. It was the first time we left both at home and we absolutely were relaxed with Journey’s updates and sending us pictures and videos.”

“This was the first vacation where I felt comfortable leaving my pets! We really appreciate how much attention Elizabeth put into caring for our dog. She left great feedback about our her condition throughout the day and communicated any concerns she had immediately. My dog LOVES Elizabeth too! Halfway through our trip we began planning other ways Elizabeth could care for our dog in the future!”

About: Starting when I was in 5th grade I put up Dog walking signs around my neighborhood and surrounding neighborhood to work with dogs. Since then i’ve dog and cat sit for multiple neighbors over the years. I was relied on for things like feeding, playing and walking pets. I am currently holding a job which is pretty much from 2:00 until 6:00 every Monday-Friday, however this is only until June 9th 2026. I also have one class in the morning from about 8:30 until 10:30 also ending on June 2nd. So i have a lot of time throughout the day and night and especially on weekends to tend to your pets. And during the summer my schedule is open to have even more time to work! I tend to the pets with care and caution that i approach them in a correct way so the pets feel safe and taken care of.
“Katherine was so wonderful with our pups (3 all under 6 months)!!! Her time with the pups was more than asked for - she provided awesome pics & video which helped make me feel like all the pups were in great hands!”

About: I’ve cared for everything from tiny bottle-fed kittens and puppies to vocal Australian Shepherds, senior pets, my diabetic cat (including administering insulin), chickens, reptiles, and even a tarantula back in my school days. From young pets to wise seniors, I’m steady, patient, and love adapting to each personality—and special needs are no problem at all. It fits into my daily routine. I take care of two cats, an 18 month old girl named Pepa. Very vocal, demanding, and playful. I also take care of my diabetic cat sikes. He is a thirteen year old ragdoll. Administering his insulin shots 12 hours apart and feeding him 3 times a day. I work from 8:30-5:15 pm M-F as I work an office job. After and before that I’m typically at home. I’m more than willing to meet you and your pet family before you decide to work with me. I want to make sure that you feel confident in my abilities and trust me with your loved ones. Due to my senior cat I am unable to care for your pets at my home. Although I am down for just about anything else. I respect the owners not just through the care of their pets, but the care of their homes. I’ll take the trash out, turn the lights on and off, and smile to your neighbors.
“Aleah is the best person we could have asked for, for our little Izzy. She took such good care of her for 12 days, the longest we’ve ever been away from her. We couldn’t have chosen a better person! Seeing the daily photos of Aleah walking her, knowing she was loved on and cared for in this way, we will ALWAYS hope Aleah’s available to take care of Izzy in the future. Thank you Aleah..for making our vacation much easier, knowing Izzy was getting the best care ever and Izzy thanks you, too!”

“Kevin was friendly and communicated well…very easy to work with. He got along great with our cat and left detailed reports and lots of photos every day. Highly recommend.”
“Liam was super nice and responsive!! He came by the house to let out our dog and our friends dog who was staying with us - he fed them dinner and played with them in the yard, he sent us lots of pictures! Very attentive and would recommend”

Matthews dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jenni took care of our two dogs and cat over the Memorial Day weekend. They had never been left alone that long and Jenni quickly put us at ease with a visit beforehand. She clearly enjoyed visiting the pups and they clearly looked forward to her visits. We could not be happier.

Natalie is INCREDIBLE, we loved having her watch our cat Tuft several times and trusted her with our high energy, and often times difficult to work with dog Bree, this time around and we have nothing but high praise! She went above and beyond, made sure auto feeders had enough without us even asking and even making sure to check in on them prior to a wild storm that came through to make sure they’d be equipped for anything from power outages to general nerves. Cannot recommend her enough!

Kelly did an amazing job with drop-in visits for our dog while we were gone for a week. We could tell our dog was relaxed and having a great experience. The pictures and videos were great to view. Her communication was excellent. We will definitely be using Kelly again next time we are out of town and need a dog sitter.

This was my first time using Rover so I wasn't sure what to expect. Overall, it was a good experience. Holly communicated well and sent lots of pictures during our time away. The reason for the four-star rating is that Holly's check-ins via the app didn't always match what I had signed up for (sometimes several hours later), and I believe this was likely due to her filling out the check-in at a later time, but it did cause some nervousness on my part not knowing if our dog had been fed at her regular times. Maybe that is a normal practice, but I'd suggest for the future that Holly do her check-ins while actually at the house to take away any of that uncertainty.
