All of our interaction with Clarissa was very positive, from the first appointment to meet "our girls" to a trial run at her suggestion, to the actual care dates. We were confident that she would take their care very seriously. She won over our very shy older dog who in record time, evidenced by lots of photos. This was one of our most pressing concerns and it happened quite quickly. Clarissa is making a career of training dogs so her attention to their behavior with her and with each other was impressive: our newest rescue is a little on the wild side and Clarissa's observations about her were spot on. She told us that she could work on some of the dog's more, shall we say, rambunctious behaviors. We could tell after coming home that the dog was listening more readily to commands. We came home to a clean house, with the bed sheets in the laundry room, the dishes in the dishwasher, an empty kitchen sink and clean counters. “Chelsea was an absolute lifesaver in what turned out to be a pretty stressful situation. I left for a 5-day trip and on day 2, part of my house flooded (where she was staying with my dogs and cat). For the rest of the week I had workers coming in and out to dry and demo the space, and was more than willing to leave my trip early, but she insisted she had it handled and really did. She took the dogs on longer walks when the workers were there and a friend of mine was supervising them, and it truly seemed that the pups were taking all the upheaval in stride. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 14, walking my neighbors, friends, families dogs. Bathing them, dog sitting them, etc. I have always loved taking care of them and I enjoy it very much, I’m the biggest animal lover, especially for dogs. I go to school full time and have a job full time, but taking care of animals is something I always love to do and I make time to fit it into my schedule. My dogs have always been in door dogs, and kennel trained for when we weren’t home. They also are more spoiled than they probably need to be but they deserve it. I would care for your dog as I would for mine.

Althea was amazing! She gave plenty of updates on our pets and took great care of them. Prior to the sit, she did a couple of drop ins to get more familiar with the pets. We had a flight issue and whilst I was communicating providing updates each time it was delayed, before we got confirmation the flight was cancelled, she had already offered to stay if needed. She was already one step ahead of us and asked about the pets food which in the panic of the situation, had skipped my mind. Traveling can be extremely stressful but Althea was absolutely fantastic and we left our pets in great hands. Prior to leaving, she sent a nice wrap up which included information about the pets that day but also she took any towels/blankets and put them in the laundry room, took care of her dishes, and other house things we didn't ask for, showing how considerate and kind she is. We will recommend her and use her in the future!
