“Clarissa exceeded every expectation we had about the level of care our dogs would receive. This is the first time we had a sitter for them since moving to Charlotte over a year ago. All of our interaction with Clarissa was very positive, from the first appointment to meet "our girls" to a trial run at her suggestion, to the actual care dates. We were confident that she would take their care very seriously. She won over our very shy older dog who in record time, evidenced by lots of photos. This was one of our most pressing concerns and it happened quite quickly. Clarissa is making a career of training dogs so her attention to their behavior with her and with each other was impressive: our newest rescue is a little on the wild side and Clarissa's observations about her were spot on. She told us that she could work on some of the dog's more, shall we say, rambunctious behaviors. We could tell after coming home that the dog was listening more readily to commands. We came home to a clean house, with the bed sheets in the laundry room, the dishes in the dishwasher, an empty kitchen sink and clean counters. “Alina took the BEST care of our cat Sammy. Every morning and night, she sent us pictures and updates on how Sammy was doing. Our cat got sick a couple days before she arrived in our home to watch Sammy so he really didn’t have an appetite and wasn’t drinking as much water. Alina put so much effort into getting Sammy to eat and drink. She even went out a got food that she thought he would like and he loved it. I’m really so grateful for everything she did for Sammy. Through the videos and pictures she sent of Sammy, you could tell how much he loved her. Alina washed everything she used before we got home and cleaned up. She is so caring, loving, and will love your pet as her own. I’ve always been nervous of leaving Sammy with a sitter when we go out of town, I never felt nervous leaving Sammy with Alina. “Chelsea was an absolute lifesaver in what turned out to be a pretty stressful situation. I left for a 5-day trip and on day 2, part of my house flooded (where she was staying with my dogs and cat). For the rest of the week I had workers coming in and out to dry and demo the space, and was more than willing to leave my trip early, but she insisted she had it handled and really did. She took the dogs on longer walks when the workers were there and a friend of mine was supervising them, and it truly seemed that the pups were taking all the upheaval in stride. They even continued to eat and take their meds, which I can only attribute Chelsea keeping them comfy and happy. I will definitely be inviting her back to sit once the house is in one piece again! One of my favorite experiences was caring for that Husky and taking her on trails every day. Words cannot describe how phenomenal of a pet/house sitter Carson is! She went above and beyond for our entire 9 day trip, taking the most incredible care of our animals. Our cat had recently been diagnosed with diabetes right before our trip, and she was so observant about any changes in behavior and managed the insulin administered beautifully. Our dog is absolutely obsessed with her too! She is an excellent communicator, followed every direction to a t, and is so thoughtful. When we returned from our trip she had completely deep cleaned all the common spaces and the guest room she stayed it, even offering to do the laundry. I seriously cannot recommend her enough - we will definitely be rebooking her every opportunity we get!!
Melissa was amazing help with our two Goldens. Not only did she provide great for them but she also helped us out with very short notice. I never felt worried about our pups and am so grateful to have such peace of mind while being on vacation. Will definitely use Melissa again!
Brittany was great with rex. She sent me daily pictures of him and he looked happy and relaxed. During her stay with rex he did develop a sore on one of his paws but Brittany kept me up to date with him daily and even went so far as to get him a cone to prevent further issues with his paw. I would recommend Brittany as a house sitter and dog sitter any day.
Aby was wonderful, we could tell our potatoes were treated with as much care as we normally do. Momo kept going back to the guest room afterwards looking for her. She followed our instructions and we have no complaints. Our place was left clean, and she even left out a thawed dog food packet for us in the fridge. It was really nice coming back from a trip without feeling overwhelmed about making sure we had the little stuff to take care of.
