About: I have two male dachshunds. I have had the. since they were puppies. I had three, but my oldest passed away on Dec. 16, 2025. He was13 years old and I have had him since I was 21 years old. My second oldest is 11 years old and the youngest is 4 years old. The dogs are allowed on furniture. We have ramps to help them onto the couch and they have a nice ramp up to a comfy window bed area. Our dogs love sleeping there and looking out the window. I am used to dogs with health issues. My oldest dog, Odie, had a very sensitive stomach and had to have a strict diet or he got pancreatitis. Our youngest has had back surgery and was paralyzed and slowly regained mobility. Taking care of dogs with health issues is not a problem for me. When booking with me. Let me know about your pets personality. Be specific with eating schedule. I require the dogs to be crate trained if I have to step out of the house. We have a big backyard that is perfect for exploring and running around. When the dogs get hot, we have a small pool that my dog Oscar loves to jump in to cool off. I am a teacher and I have my summers off. During the school year I am gone during the day. My dogs are fenced off to the hallway and the front window. They have 3 dog beds and a ramp leading up to the window where they also sleep on a platform. The dogs are cozy waiting for us. Make sure to let me know how your dog should be handled when I am away. I will crate your dogs next to mine while I'm away from the house. To ensure their safety. We have a big backyard and your dog will get lots of loves at my house. We are big dog lovers. I live with my husband and two children. I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old who are gentle with dogs. My 5 year old actually has her own dog. The youngest dachshund, Jack, is hers. They have a great bond and he always sleeps in her bed at night.

About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. Growing up we always had dogs/cats/fish. I am very active and love going on walks/runs. I'd be happy to have your pup tag along. I am familiar with puppies all the way to hospice senior dogs. More recently, we had to let our 14.5 years old bulldog go due to kidney failure. I am experienced in routines, meds, special harnesses, & subcutaneous fluid IVs. I like to live an active lifestyle outside of my 8-5 job. While with your pups, we can go on numerous “snifaris” - play fetch or keep away in a fenced yard - or even just snuggle on thr couch & watch tv! I currently don't have any pets. I live in a 3-story townhome with a minimal yard with no fence - but plenty of common areas and leashed walking space.

About: Hi! I'm Nicole and I was born and raised in the Charlotte area and went to Weddington for middle and high school. I left for school at NC State and NC Central to study nutrition and dietetics, and then moved to Nashville before returning to Charlotte (my favorite place to live actually!). I have been caring for pets of all sizes for years -- my parents have a 10 pounds Boston Terrier, and my fiance and I have a 100lb yellow lab and a 60 pound Aussie/Pomeranian. My wife worried about leaving Teddie home alone with a stranger stopping in to care for him. About: For as long as I can remember I’ve enjoyed the company of animals over that of people. And after too many years in corporate America (tech recruiting) I’m looking to work with pets and enjoy life again. In recent years I have watched my cousins four cats, as well as friends puppies and dogs for trips and cared for my family’s labs throughout the years. My labradoodle is the best, but I am interested in creating a career where I can look after others pets. About: I am a total dog lover! My husband and I rescued our dog Roscoe almost 6 years ago. He is one of the most spoiled dogs I know and is a huge mama’s boy. We enjoy hiking together, and going on walks and for runs along the local greenways in Charlotte and in the neighborhood. He enjoys having other dogs to play with and we pet sit for a few friends and neighbors when they go on vacation, having their dog come and spend time in our home. They always get excited when I pick them up and go home tired from all our walks and outdoor play in our fenced in yard. I send pictures and updates daily. Otherwise, we block the stairs off when we need to leave with Roscoe upstairs and your pet downstairs.

We have a fenced backyard for safe playtime and easy bathroom access. Your animals are welcome to sleep wherever they want in the house- we don’t mind dogs on the bed, couch, or in their crate if that’s where they’re most comfortable! We have several water stations throughout the house that get changed every day. We have plenty of cozy rooms in the house, so your pet can have alone time if needed. Our neighborhood is quiet and walkable.

About: I’ve cared for pets for decades! I’ve cared for cats, dogs, reptiles, fish, rats, bunnies, and more! I’ve cared for all ages and needs levels of dogs and cats. I’ve cared for anxious pets who won’t eat and laid-back let’s who just want cuddles! All animals welcome! Over the summer in free quite a bit! I will have a few things planned here or there but I’m super flexible. During the school year, evenings and weekends are best. I live in an apartment so having your pets in my home will be more difficult but not impossible. I would prefer your home because the pets will be more comfortable and relaxed! About: I have taken care of and pet sat mat dogs of different sizes from a big German shepherd to a tinny little Chihuahua so there is no dog to big or to small for me to take care of I just graduated high school and am applying to college but I won’t be able to go until next year so until then I’ll be free the whole year unless my family needs me When it comes to taking care of any pets even my own I make sure to keep them on the same schedule they are used to as to make sure they don’t get stressed I also make sure to set alarms for set feeding times of any animal I watch over as well as playing with them and taking them out to use the bath room as needed I also will make sure that if I pet sit over night at someone’s house that the house will be perfectly clean when they come back and that there animal will be happy no matter what.
About: Years ago, my mother and I owned a boarding kennel and I was a professional groomer. Now I am semi-retired and loving spending time with furry friends! I am familiar with all breeds and love them all! We have always had a pet in our home and would love to provide care while you have to be away. I currently work outside the home for a partial day on Mondays. Other than errands and appointments, I am home all day to interact with your fur baby! Should an emergency come up, I am available. All our furry guests are treated like family. We have a large fenced in yard with no steps for the older fur babies. We own a cat that pretty much keeps to herself. We are good with pets of all ages and understand they all need different levels of care. We are empty nesters, so have the time and energy to keep up with any needs your pet may have. With the exception of Mondays, someone is home all day to provide personal care and supervision for your pet. Mondays Alice works outside the home for a partial day and pets would need to be left alone for 4-6 hours, or she would need to be able to bring your pet (only one) to work with her. Both Alice and Don love animals and provide a nurturing and loving environment for your pet in their home with regular potty breaks in their fenced in back yard.

About: Since being a teenager, I’ve been paid to house sit and do drop ins for the pets of friends and family, in addition to growing up with a family dog, Darla. After Darla eventually passed from old age, in 2018 my family adopted Millie, a beagle-mix who is a lover of walks and still full of surprises after almost seven years! Now that I’m back at school and away from my own dog, I’d love to help support pet owners who need dog walking services or drop in visits! I am currently a student at UNCG, and have class on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. I’m still available on those days during specific times, but am almost always available on Wednesdays, and the weekend (FriSatSun). I think an important part of building trust with a client is sending them regular updates such as photos or videos of their pet(s) in addition to a report on how they’ve been doing. Trusting others to care for your pet is hard, especially if you don’t know the sitter or walker personally. Things like that are how I try to ensure that a client knows they are getting the service they paid for and that their pet(s) are well looked after.
About: I work from home and would love an excuse to get up from my desk and what better excuse than to get some puppy and dog cuddles while also getting exercise by walking. I currently have a corporate work from home job that requires me to be at a desk. This type of schedule fits into my routine because it allows me to visit pets before starting work, at lunch or breaks, and also after work. My schedule is very flexible that I can meet you where you need it. I am very detail oriented and a huge pet lover at heart so when I am visiting your house, I respect the house rules and follow instructions to a T. I also am very high energy due to ADHD and am a great partner for fetch and walks.
About: I’m a lover of all critters—big and small! I’ve worked with everypup from puppies to elderly dogs and loved doing it. I’m confident with a leash of any type, reinforcing owner routines, and basic medication administration. Warning: I might have to spoil your dog with a treat or two 🦴 I’m currently a student at UNCC paying for my degree with what I love most—dogs! For me, I’m available midday most days of the week including weekends! My best hours would be between 11:00am to 4:00pm but let me know what you need! I’m happy to work with you and your pups. About: I’m new to rover, but I’m anything but new to pet care! I grew up taking care of all sorts of animals — goats, ferrets, guinea pigs, lizards, you name it! And in the last ten years, I’ve unintentionally built up quite a resume with pet sitting just because of my passionate love for animals. I am many pet owners’ go-to for pet sitting because they trust me to take care of their fur babies in the exact way they would, so you can trust me too:) My husband currently provides the only source of income for us, so my goal with Rover is to turn my pet sitting hobby into a little bit of extra income for us. Since I have no other job, I am free as a bird with an open and flexible schedule! I can easily adapt to your schedule and your pets’ needs:) I can easily provide whatever is needed for your pet. Your pet can run freely inside or be crated to your preference. The only thing I can’t provide is a fenced in yard, but our yard is huge and far from neighbors, and I have a totally free schedule to walk and entertain your pet however much you’d like. If I am coming to your home, you can trust me to follow whatever directions you have. You can also trust me to never take on more pets than I can handle just for the sake of the money, because my main objective is to provide excellent care above all else! We have one medium-sized dog, but he stays with “grandma and grandpa” while I am pet sitting unless of course you request for your pet to have some company!

She is a 9 month puppy and has only boarded at one other place. So we were nervous! Since she sleeps in her crate at home, Clayton let Cashew sleep in his bedroom floor, so she was comfortable! He sents lots of pictures and videos and she had a blast! She came home exhausted! I highly recommend Clayton and his wife, Beth, for pet sitting. We can't wait to take her back there!!
