About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. Growing up we always had dogs/cats/fish. I am very active and love going on walks/runs. I'd be happy to have your pup tag along. I am familiar with puppies all the way to hospice senior dogs. More recently, we had to let our 14.5 years old bulldog go due to kidney failure. I am experienced in routines, meds, special harnesses, & subcutaneous fluid IVs. I like to live an active lifestyle outside of my 8-5 job. While with your pups, we can go on numerous “snifaris” - play fetch or keep away in a fenced yard - or even just snuggle on thr couch & watch tv! I currently don't have any pets. I live in a 3-story townhome with a minimal yard with no fence - but plenty of common areas and leashed walking space.
About: My Love & Experience With Cats 🐱❤️ I got my first cat, Lilikoi, about 10 years ago—even though I was allergic at the time! After six months of sneezing and itchy eyes, I somehow outgrew my allergy. It was completely worth it. 😂 Lilikoi showed me the incredible bond you can have with a cat—the trust, eye contact, affection, and quiet companionship. Since then, I’ve realized just how special cats are and how often their personalities are misunderstood. I’ve cared for cats of all ages and personalities, from bottle-feeding rescued kittens to caring for elderly cats with special needs. I’ve also cared for multiple cats at once, including Wally, a 17-year-old cat with an autoimmune condition who needed medication and extra attention. I cared for her and five other cats for six months, and I was so happy to recently hear that Wally has completely recovered! I truly love getting to know each cat’s unique personality. About: My cat is severely diabetic, two insulin shots a day, following a strict food schedule, and making sure I carry him off higher surfaces and allowing him to catch his balance before I let him go on the floor. I sleep with him every night as it helps him remain calm. I make sure he knows that he is loved and seen. He’s the best gentleman I know so I make sure I’m the second best gentleman back. I clean both his litter boxes daily, groom his fur and trim the knots out if need be (as at his old age his grooming skills have declined). He doesn’t have eye boogers and if one begins to form I gently clean it out with warm water. I’ve bottle fed him after we rescued him during hurricane sandy. Rubbed his belly as an infant so he could poop, administered preventative flea meds, played fetch (he’s a ragdoll), and allowed him to frolic around in the tall grass. He’s lived a beautiful life and I cherish every moment with him.

About: I've taken care of others pets for many years and will love them and care for them as if they were my own! I have a four year old spoiled rotten mini dachshund named Winnie, a black cat named Sweetie and a leapard gecko! My neighborhood also has a private pond and walking trail so if your baby loves to go for walks then this is the place for them. I am currently a stay at home mom with three older children that are in school the majority of the day. I will be home to love and care for your pet and give them all the attention they deserve without distractions I have a fenced in backyard with a loving dog of my own to keep your pet company! I only take on 2 to 3 dogs at a time so I can accommodate any specific requests needed for your fur baby such as crating, specific dietary requests, ect. I also have lots of ramps and stairs for smaller dogs and a gate that blocks my staircase leading upstairs.

“This is the second time we’ve booked Carson, this time just for some drop-in visits for our diabetic cat over a weekend trip, and she outdid herself yet again! It’s critical that he has enough food in his system to receive his insulin injection to prevent his blood sugar from getting too low, so when he decided to go on a hunger strike out of retaliation of us leaving town (🙄) she stayed at our house longer than originally agreed upon and tried several different methods to get him to eat and eventually was successful. This just goes to show she clearly cares so incredibly much about the welfare of the animals under her care, as if they’re her own! We will definitely continue rebooking with Carson anytime she’s available!!”

About: I am a total dog lover! My husband and I rescued our dog Roscoe almost 6 years ago. He is one of the most spoiled dogs I know and is a huge mama’s boy. We enjoy hiking together, and going on walks and for runs along the local greenways in Charlotte and in the neighborhood. He enjoys having other dogs to play with and we pet sit for a few friends and neighbors when they go on vacation, having their dog come and spend time in our home. They always get excited when I pick them up and go home tired from all our walks and outdoor play in our fenced in yard. I send pictures and updates daily. I’m a special education teacher and my husband works in the restaurant business, so he’s home most days and I’m home after school and evenings. About: Since my teenage years, I’ve been paid to house sit and do drop ins for the pets of friends and family, in addition to growing up with a family dog, Darla. After she eventually passed, in 2018 my family adopted Millie, a beagle-mix who is a lover of walks and still full of surprises after almost seven years! She has taught me so much about the way dogs communicate and what they need from us to live their best lives. I’m so lucky that through Rover I can continue to learn more about such special companions while caring for your V.I.P (Very Important Pupper)! I am a recent college graduate and back in my hometown for the moment. I keep a pretty flexible schedule at the moment but I’ll always be prompt about letting you know when/if there are any schedule conflicts. I think an important part of building trust with a client is sending them regular updates such as photos or videos of their pet(s) in addition to a report on how they’ve been doing. Trusting others to care for your pet is hard, especially if you don’t know the sitter or walker personally. About: I work from home and would love an excuse to get up from my desk and what better excuse than to get some puppy and dog cuddles while also getting exercise by walking. I currently have a corporate work from home job that requires me to be at a desk. About: Years ago, my mother and I owned a boarding kennel and I was a professional groomer. Now I am semi-retired and loving spending time with furry friends! I am familiar with all breeds and love them all! We have always had a pet in our home and would love to provide care while you have to be away. I currently work outside the home for a partial day on Mondays. Other than errands and appointments, I am home all day to interact with your fur baby! Should an emergency come up, I am available. All our furry guests are treated like family. We have a large fenced in yard with no steps for the older fur babies. We own a cat that pretty much keeps to herself. We are good with pets of all ages and understand they all need different levels of care. We are empty nesters, so have the time and energy to keep up with any needs your pet may have. With the exception of Mondays, someone is home all day to provide personal care and supervision for your pet. Mondays Alice works outside the home for a partial day and pets would need to be left alone for 4-6 hours, or she would need to be able to bring your pet (only one) to work with her. Both Alice and Don love animals and provide a nurturing and loving environment for your pet in their home with regular potty breaks in their fenced in back yard.

Every visit or stay is fully customized to your pet’s exact needs. My standard routine includes attentive potty breaks, feeding and fresh water, and engaging enrichment/playtime. I am also fully equipped to maintain a clean environment, including scooping litter boxes, misting cages, and safely administering prescribed oral or topical medications. To ensure we're the perfect fit for each other, I require a brief, complimentary meet and greet before finalizing any bookings. This gives us a chance to go over routines and allows me to meet your precious fur babies! ❤️ Please let me know what days work best for you.
About: I’ve been petsitting intermittently since 2014, when I started taking care of my neighborhood’s various dogs and cats to earn some extra cash in high school. Since then, I’ve found it to be a great way to help supplement my education while allowing me to spend time around a variety of wonderful animals. I’m a cat mom myself and love watching them but I’m happy to help out with dogs as well if they are the right fit for my services. Available for housesitting as dependent on my schedule. I don’t typically do drop-in visits unless they are located nearby and I already know the client. Thanks! “We boarded our dog (Donnie) for 6 days with Clay and his wife while we where on a family vacation the week of Thanksgiving. They have a perfect setup at their home and are extremely kind and excellent communicators.
