“Our new go to sitter! The first time our dog has been comfortable right away with someone. Daniel sends great updates and pictures. We will probably plan things around his availability so we can book with him!”

“Our dogs are totally spoiled rotten when they are with Elizabeth... I sometimes wonder if they are going to want to stay with her more than us. LOL. We are always very happy with Elizabeth and wouldn't think of taking our dogs anywhere else.”

“Heaven sent!! Christal (and her sweet kiddos) were a true blessing. My dog landed in the perfect home while we were vacationing. The communication was prompt, from the moment I requested her services (at 4AM), Christal answered and took in my puppy that same afternoon. He was well cared for, seemed happy with his daily walks and play time. I appreciate the photos I would receive throughout the day. I recommend Christal and will definitely reach out to her when I need a pet sitter. Christal: Thank you SO MUCH! Max sends his love to you and your family!”

“Chloe had an amazing experience with Kristian, her family, and her very sweet dogs! She sent pictures and updates daily. Kristian is very experienced, flexible, attentive, and truly loves dogs. Plus, her backyard is huge and gives dogs a wonderful place to play and explore! So happy to have found Kristian and I cannot recommend her enough!! A thousand stars!”

“Sheila was truly amazing taking care of Layla! From the very beginning, she was kind, attentive, and treated Layla like her own. She sent photos and updates that kept my mind at ease while I was on vacation, which meant so much to me. Layla seemed super happy being with her, and it was clear she was well cared for the entire time. Sheila is reliable, communicative, and truly goes above and beyond. I’m so grateful for her and would absolutely trust her again. Highly recommend!”

“Alyssa and Spencer took great care of Sadie!! They were able to take her on short notice which was a huge help and gave her lots of love. Thank you Alyssa and Spencer!!”

“Lauren was truly exceptional! I was pretty nervous about leaving my 13-year-old dog with someone new while we were out of town, but she immediately put my mind at ease. She went above and beyond in every way and completely exceeded our expectations. Lauren provided frequent, thoughtful updates that reassured us our dog was happy and comfortable. It was clear she made a genuine effort to create a calm, loving, home-like environment for Leila, which meant so much to us. You can tell Lauren genuinely cares about the dogs she watches, and her attention to detail and compassion really stand out. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and kind sitter. We’re so grateful for her and will absolutely be booking with her again in the future!”

“Yevheniia is amazing. My dog is on the needy side & I was really nervous about leaving him. Yevheniia made me feel so at ease & comfortable. She treated Luka like family, letting him on the couch & giving him lots of love. She sent daily updates & pictures which I really appreciated. Thank you so much!”

“Clay did a great job caring for our older dog while we were away. In the couple of times I have been to his house he was caring for a few other dogs and from what I can tell he treats them all as they are his own. There is plenty of space in his yard and house. Clay sent an update and picture almost every day. He was unfazed by the extra attention needed by an older dog in declining health.”

“Albina was fantastic! We were trying to visit our son for a She took great care of my senior and almost senior dogs. She sent frequent photos and videos. Albina was very caring and you could tell that she loves animals. I highly recommend her!”

“Bozena is always great when boarding our older dog. She sends regular pictures and updates. Layla is always happy to return to her home and seems sad to leave when we pick her up.”

“Wynde was fantastic! We left her with our foster dog, who is still transitioning from crisis and kennel life to our home ( 6 weeks) and then to hers for a long weekend. Wynde was so accommodating, as with her family and pets. She was flexible with my schedule changes leaving and coming back in town; went above and beyond with making emotional space for our foster to feel in control, and welcoming any small act toward connection from our foster. It only took two days before I received one of many pictures of our pup laying on top of Wynde, all 45 lbs. I highly recommend her and will call on her again! Debbie”

“I’m so glad I was able to find Annie! She took such great care of my dogs and provided me daily updates with photos. She is definitely going to be my go to whenever I need a sitter. Thank you Annie!”

I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and reliable pet sitter.”

“Not only was Anne able to accommodate my extremely late notice request for boarding, but she took great care of my senior dogs! Her home and fenced yard is also set up very thoughtfully for pet care with lots of space to roam outside or inside. About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. Growing up we always had dogs/cats/fish. I am very active and love going on walks/runs. I'd be happy to have your pup tag along. I am familiar with puppies all the way to hospice senior dogs. More recently, we had to let our 14.5 years old bulldog go due to kidney failure. I am experienced in routines, meds, special harnesses, & subcutaneous fluid IVs. I like to live an active lifestyle outside of my 8-5 job. While with your pups, we can go on numerous “snifaris” - play fetch or keep away in a fenced yard - or even just snuggle on thr couch & watch tv! I currently don't have any pets. I live in a 3-story townhome with a minimal yard with no fence - but plenty of common areas and leashed walking space.
“Elyse took very good care of our kitten. She showed up on time and took pictures to let us know she was okay. I would definitely recommend her to watch your pet. I will!”
“This was our third time having Elsie check in on our cats who are high maintenance furballs. Elsie is amazing. We don't stress at all now that we have Elsie to take care of the cats. She does an amazing job and really makes the cats happy. I cannot recommend her enough, she is trustworthy and so very considerate.”

“Kristin was wonderful she took care of the babies perfectly. She even brought them some toys to play with. She sent me plenty of pictures of them. I had total peace of mind, knowing she was caring for the babies. I appreciate her services greatly!”

About: I have well over 30 years of cat care experience. This is my specialty. I’ve cared for kittens as young as six weeks and cats as old at 20+ years. I’ve given all kinds of meds and cared for special needs cats. Cats are my jam! I’ve been a cat parent for over 30 years and have cat sit for a ton of kitties.
About: Hi! I'm Nicole and I was born and raised in the Charlotte area and went to Weddington for middle and high school. I left for school at NC State and NC Central to study nutrition and dietetics, and then moved to Nashville before returning to Charlotte (my favorite place to live actually!). I have been caring for pets of all sizes for years -- my parents have a 10 pounds Boston Terrier, and my fiance and I have a 100lb yellow lab and a 60 pound Aussie/Pomeranian. I also watch our neighbors chickens! I work remotely, so I am the main caretaker of all pets and I love it :) Let me know how I can help you! I work remotely according to my own schedule, which I get to create myself. I do love a good routine, but I am easily able to adjust as we go with the flow because of my job. Consistent schedules are fun and easy for me to fit into my weekly work routine, but since I work on the go, I'm able to adjust as you need! I am able to travel as needed to assist you with your pet needs. I work with high security information, so I am very aware of security measures and safety within the home. Let me know how I can assist you to ensure your comfortability, cleanliness, and consistency in pet care :)
“Fantastic sitter! Very communicative and made sure I was aware of how my kitty was doing. When we first met she asked questions I hadn’t even considered, so we were able to cover a variety of scenarios and what to do. Thanks for making my holiday easier!”

About: Rescue cats have always been close to my heart—I’ve been around them for more than half of my life. Due to my husband’s allergies, we can’t have cats in our home, but I always take every opportunity to spend time with the kitties of friends and neighbors. I would be delighted to care for your cat, whether that means playtime, cuddles, mealtime, or simply respecting their space if they prefer privacy. My goal is to make sure your furry friend feels comfortable, safe, and has everything they need while you’re away.
About: For as long as I can remember I’ve enjoyed the company of animals over that of people. And after too many years in corporate America (tech recruiting) I’m looking to work with pets and enjoy life again. In recent years I have watched my cousins four cats, as well as friends puppies and dogs for trips and cared for my family’s labs throughout the years. My labradoodle is the best, but I am interested in creating a career where I can look after others pets. I would love to spend time with dogs and make owners feel less stress and anxiety or shame for being at work or off managing other priorities. I am in between jobs and living in Stallings / Matthews area. I find myself with a lot of extra down time, I have plenty of time to walk or check in on pets and give them the love and attention in their owner’s absence In my own home I have a fence and my doodle has access to toys, treats, water, dog beds and a healthy diet. In a clients home I would follow their instructions and care requests, I am comfortable managing pills, meals, and any other needs.
About: I’m new to rover, but I’m anything but new to pet care! I grew up taking care of all sorts of animals — goats, ferrets, guinea pigs, lizards, you name it! And in the last ten years, I’ve unintentionally built up quite a resume with pet sitting just because of my passionate love for animals. I am many pet owners’ go-to for pet sitting because they trust me to take care of their fur babies in the exact way they would, so you can trust me too:) My husband currently provides the only source of income for us, so my goal with Rover is to turn my pet sitting hobby into a little bit of extra income for us. Since I have no other job, I am free as a bird with an open and flexible schedule! I can easily adapt to your schedule and your pets’ needs:) I can easily provide whatever is needed for your pet. Your pet can run freely inside or be crated to your preference. The only thing I can’t provide is a fenced in yard, but our yard is huge and far from neighbors, and I have a totally free schedule to walk and entertain your pet however much you’d like. If I am coming to your home, you can trust me to follow whatever directions you have. You can also trust me to never take on more pets than I can handle just for the sake of the money, because my main objective is to provide excellent care above all else! We have one medium-sized dog, but he stays with “grandma and grandpa” while I am pet sitting unless of course you request for your pet to have some company!
“Morgan was excellent. My wife was nervous about having someone watch over our cat. Morgan met with us before we traveled, which took away all concerns within a few minutes of meeting her. Our cat is a coward and thus hides from strangers. We did not expect she would see him for several days. Miraculously by day two Morgan had won his confidence and he came out to see her for the rest of the week. I highly recommend her services for cats. She was on time and sent pictures and comments for each visit. We will be booking with Morgan again. 5 out of 5 stars.”

“Andy is always nice and sincere. He gets along with my shy cats. They recognize him and lets Andy pet them and brush them. He has been a lifesaver when I need to go out of town.”

“Elizabeth did an amazing job housesitting our 3 cats. Two of our cats have special needs (medicine or diets), and she was able to take care of them all with lots of love! She sent so many pics while we were away and really took extra special care of our fur babies. She even took great care of the house and litter boxes! I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Christina provided the best experience we have had in our years using Rover. All of our communication was remote so I was a little nervous but everything went without a hitch! One of our cats can be mean but she was happy as a clam and neither seemed anxious at all when we got home- best experience!!!! Feel so much better about trips knowing we have a very reliable sitter we can ask to watch our girls.”

About: Growing up a dog owner, I have always loved dogs, all animals really. About 15 years ago I got the best kitty and she changed me. I now have 4 cats (& 2 dogs) and just can’t imagine my life without them. Let me share the love with your fur babies!

About: I have two male dachshunds. I have had the. since they were puppies. I had three, but my oldest passed away on Dec. 16, 2025. He was 13 years old and I have had him since I was 21 years old. My second oldest is 12 years old and the youngest is 4 years old. The dogs are allowed on furniture. We have ramps to help them onto the couch and they have a nice ramp up to a comfy window bed area. Our dogs love sleeping there and looking out the window. I am used to dogs with health issues. My oldest dog, Odie, had a very sensitive stomach and had to have a strict diet or he got pancreatitis. Our youngest has had back surgery and was paralyzed and slowly regained mobility. Taking care of dogs with health issues is not a problem for me. When booking with me. Let me know about your pets personality. Be specific with eating schedule. We have a big backyard that is perfect for exploring and running around. When the dogs get hot, we have a small pool that my dog Oscar loves to jump in to cool off. I am 35 years old and live with my husband, 40 years old. We have 2 kids. I taught Elementary School for 12 years and beginning 2026 resigned to stay home with my youngest. I will be home all day to make sure your dog is loved on and gets plenty of outside time. My dogs have a ramp leading up to the window where they also sleep on a platform. The perfect spot for small dogs to look out the window and sleep. I have 5 dog beds. Plenty to pick from. I do allow dogs on the couch. If it's okay with you. We have a BIG backyard and your dog will get lots of loves at my house. We are big dog lovers. I live with my husband and two children. I have a 6 year old and a 3 year old who are gentle with dogs. My 6 year old actually has her own dog. The youngest dachshund, Jack, is hers. They have a great bond and he always sleeps in her bed at night. Oscar likes to sleep in our bed.

About: Most of my life I have had pets, I love having them with me, play with them and give them affection and love. For me they are part of the family and I treat them like children. I have enough time to dedicate myself to them and take care of them as they deserve. When you leave me in their care, I dedicate myself to their exclusive care so that they are protected. I always keep them with me where I am safely and inside my house. When I'm with them, they are my priority. Having them by my side fills me with tranquility and company.

“I can safely say that out of all, Summer stood out the best. She was polite, timely and easy to work with. Highly recommend here and will absolutely use her services if we are in the area again!!!”

“We were visiting relatives and needed someone to take care of our peach. Ana did a great job for two nights. We were able to relax while enjoying our family without worrying about how peach was doing. Thanks Ana I recommend her if you need someone.”

“My puppy had the best time with Jane and her dogs! They played so much and it’s exactly what he needed!! Jane was really communicative and trustworthy throughout the whole process! Thank you so much for taking care of my baby Cosmo, Jane!”

“Georgia has been enjoying spending two days a week at Alyssa and Spencer’s while her mom works. Alyssa and Spencer are great with Georgia and make her feel right at home from the moment she gets inside. We are so grateful to have found this wonderful alternative to larger doggy day cares for Georgia. Georgia doesn’t give too many details on all that she does while she is at Alyssa and Spencer’s, but on the mornings we go to their house, she can’t wait to get in the car and get there.”

“From the moment we drove up our dog was ready to get inside to see Aunt Dana and he hadn't even met her yet! He even tried to open her door by reaching for the knob. Dana is welcoming and loving! She knows her stuff when it comes to what dogs love! Hopper felt at home right away. He had fun playing with her dog Bailey in the yard, catching some rays and taking naps. She also sent several updates to us throughout the day.”

About: I grew up with dogs in my home since I was a child. I moved to Charlotte in 1999 and got my Jack Russell Terrier Norman and he was so loved he lived until 18 1/2! I thought I’d give it some time before I got another dog but we ended up getting Coco two weeks later and Enzo several months later. The humans in my household are me, my husband, Chris and my two teenage sons, Greyson (17) and Cayden (16). We all love dogs! I’ll be the only caregiver of your pet but just wanted to include who else is in our home. I’m a stay at home mom so I’m home to give your dog the care he or she needs. My two dogs are very friendly and love to play! I worked for a veterinarian in college so I’ve been around many types of dogs and cats. At my house dogs are family. They are allowed on our furniture and sleep in our bed. We have a huge fenced in yard with a 6 foot privacy fence.

“Erica is AMAZING. She is so good with our dog and definitely keeps him active! She really maintains our training regimen and enforces what we’ve been working on with the dog. She’s our new go-to for walks and exercise!”

About: Since being a teenager, I’ve been paid to house sit and do drop ins for the pets of friends and family, in addition to growing up with a family dog, Darla. After Darla eventually passed from old age, in 2018 my family adopted Millie, a beagle-mix who is a lover of walks and still full of surprises after almost seven years! Now that I’m back at school and away from my own dog, I’d love to help support pet owners who need dog walking services or drop in visits! I am currently a student at UNCG, and have class on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. I’m still available on those days during specific times, but am almost always available on Wednesdays, and the weekend (FriSatSun). I think an important part of building trust with a client is sending them regular updates such as photos or videos of their pet(s) in addition to a report on how they’ve been doing. Trusting others to care for your pet is hard, especially if you don’t know the sitter or walker personally. Things like that are how I try to ensure that a client knows they are getting the service they paid for and that their pet(s) are well looked after.
About: Years ago, my mother and I owned a boarding kennel and I was a professional groomer. Now I am semi-retired and loving spending time with furry friends! I am familiar with all breeds and love them all! We have always had a pet in our home and would love to provide care while you have to be away. I currently work outside the home for a partial day on Mondays. Other than errands and appointments, I am home all day to interact with your fur baby! Should an emergency come up, I am available. All our furry guests are treated like family. We have a large fenced in yard with no steps for the older fur babies. We own a cat that pretty much keeps to herself. We are good with pets of all ages and understand they all need different levels of care. We are empty nesters, so have the time and energy to keep up with any needs your pet may have. With the exception of Mondays, someone is home all day to provide personal care and supervision for your pet. Mondays Alice works outside the home for a partial day and pets would need to be left alone for 4-6 hours, or she would need to be able to bring your pet (only one) to work with her. Both Alice and Don love animals and provide a nurturing and loving environment for your pet in their home with regular potty breaks in their fenced in back yard.
About: I work from home and would love an excuse to get up from my desk and what better excuse than to get some puppy and dog cuddles while also getting exercise by walking. I currently have a corporate work from home job that requires me to be at a desk. This type of schedule fits into my routine because it allows me to visit pets before starting work, at lunch or breaks, and also after work. My schedule is very flexible that I can meet you where you need it. I am very detail oriented and a huge pet lover at heart so when I am visiting your house, I respect the house rules and follow instructions to a T. I also am very high energy due to ADHD and am a great partner for fetch and walks.
“Nataly came in at the last minute to walk Link when I had to go out of town and I’m so grateful. She did a great job and took great care with Link to make him feel comfortable. Always a pleasure!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Tania! She responded to my last-minute request and was incredibly accommodating. She even took the time to do a meet and greet beforehand, which immediately put me and my 12-year-old pup at ease. Tania was patient, kind, and clearly has a natural love for animals. She took her on a nice long walk and gave her all the care and attention she needed. It’s rare to find someone so reputable, reliable, and genuinely compassionate. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again—highly recommended!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over 10 years and spent 5 years volunteering with an animal shelter. I helped care for rescue dogs, assisted with transportation to veterinary appointments, supported adoption efforts, and spent most weekends working directly with the animals. I also volunteered in Cape Verde, Africa, helping care for homeless animals and supporting local animal welfare projects. Over the years, I have worked with pets of different ages, sizes, personalities, and backgrounds. I have experience with both energetic pets and those who need a calmer, more patient approach. I understand that every pet is unique, and I always do my best to follow their routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s well - being and happiness are my top priorities. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I have a flexible schedule and can provide walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care. I always make sure pets receive the attention, exercise, and companionship they need while their owners are away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, walking routines, and any special care requirements. I understand that every pet is different and always take the time to build trust and make them feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for in their own environment.
“Thank you Jamie for everything. I appreciate you going above and beyond, especially you’re willingness to come over and help me get Myles into the vehicle when I had to take him to get groomed, and this was before you were scheduled to do his walks. I know he will miss you.”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover, and I really enjoy spending time with pets and getting to know their personalities. Whether we’re going for a walk, playing, feeding, or just relaxing together, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I know every pet has their own routine, so I’m happy to follow whatever works best for them. I’ll care for your pet like they’re part of my own family and make sure they get plenty of attention while you’re away. Pet care is my full-time focus, so I have plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve. My schedule is flexible, and I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, daycare, and overnight care throughout the week. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll follow your care instructions closely and make sure your pet stays happy, safe, and relaxed. I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. I treat every home with respect and every pet like family.
“Our dog loves Morgan and looks forward to his walks. Morgan is easy t work with and communicates very well. Knowing he is getting his midday walks from a caring person makes all the difference.”
About: I’ve cared for pets for decades! I’ve cared for cats, dogs, reptiles, fish, rats, bunnies, and more! I’ve cared for all ages and needs levels of dogs and cats. I’ve cared for anxious pets who won’t eat and laid-back let’s who just want cuddles! All animals welcome! Over the summer in free quite a bit! I will have a few things planned here or there but I’m super flexible. During the school year, evenings and weekends are best. I live in an apartment so having your pets in my home will be more difficult but not impossible. I would prefer your home because the pets will be more comfortable and relaxed! Providing the best environment for your pets is my priority.

About: Hello! As a lifelong pet owner and pet lover, I’ve taken care of critters of all sizes; dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hermit crabs, etc! Since I was 12, I’ve helped watch/walk friend’s and neighbor’s pets, and love hanging out with animals. I’m currently a college student who has had both professional jobs and pet care experience, and would love to meet your furry friends! I’m currently working part-time, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I’m almost always available in the mornings, and can work around my job schedule that is posted weekly. As someone who has taken care of my dogs/cats since elementary school, I am comfortable walking animals big (I have 1 husky and a malamute mix) or small!

“Eliana is amazing! She took care of my dog as if it was her own and as a bonus she made sure to take care of my cat even though she didn’t have to. She’s professional, timely and extremely dependable. Our animals loved her and I will be using her in the future for all of our Pet care needs.”

“Our dogs are totally spoiled rotten when they are with Elizabeth... I sometimes wonder if they are going to want to stay with her more than us. LOL. We are always very happy with Elizabeth and wouldn't think of taking our dogs anywhere else.”

Debbie”

“I had a wonderful experience with this dog sitter! From the very beginning, they were responsive, professional, and genuinely caring toward my dog. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and reliable pet sitter.”

“We could not have been happier about the love and care Jessica provided to our Labrador retriever, Abby! This was Abby's first overnight experience with Rover, and she ended up being a little nervous and unsure when we left her. Jessica went above and beyond to help her adjust, even preparing chicken and rice for her when her stomach was upset at the beginning of the visit. Jessica provided regular updates and photos so we could know how Abby was doing, and was incredibly communicative the entire time we were gone. We'll be reaching out to Jessica again the next time we are in need of a loving place for Abby to stay!”
