“Christina has taken excellent care of our cats our last two trips out of town and will hopefully be able to when we travel in the future! One of our cats can be anxious and aggressive with some sitters but it has not been an issue with Christina at all. She is so great!”

About: Raised alongside a German Shepherd, a Chihuahua, and three stray kitties, I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. As a proud beagle mama, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy. I’m responsible, loving, and detail-oriented, and I will care for your pets like family. 🐾 I’m a stay-at-home mom with a flexible schedule and am available 4 days a week to care for your fur babies. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or cuddles, I’ll make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and loved. We all know how stressful it can be for pets when their owner is away and a stranger comes in to care for them. To make the experience as smooth and stress-free as possible for your fur babies, I encourage you to share as much information as you can about their routine, habits, favorite walking routes, likes, dislikes, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable and secure.
“Kristin was amazing with our elderly cat while we were away. He warmed up to her very quickly and she left detailed cards to show us how he was doing! Would definitely recommend her!”

About: Hello! As a lifelong pet owner and pet lover, I’ve taken care of critters of all sizes; dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hermit crabs, etc! Since I was 12, I’ve helped watch/walk friend’s and neighbor’s pets, and love hanging out with animals. I’m currently a college student who has had both professional jobs and pet care experience, and would love to meet your furry friends! I’m currently working part-time, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I’m almost always available in the mornings, and can work around my job schedule that is posted weekly. As someone who has taken care of my dogs/cats since elementary school, I am comfortable walking animals big (I have 1 husky and a malamute mix) or small!
“Great care as always! Knowing my kitties know and love Elizabeth relieves so much stress while we are away. Building this rapport is so important- thanks again!”
About: I’m new to rover, but I’m anything but new to pet care! I grew up taking care of all sorts of animals — goats, ferrets, guinea pigs, lizards, you name it! And in the last ten years, I’ve unintentionally built up quite a resume with pet sitting just because of my passionate love for animals. I am many pet owners’ go-to for pet sitting because they trust me to take care of their fur babies in the exact way they would, so you can trust me too:) My husband currently provides the only source of income for us, so my goal with Rover is to turn my pet sitting hobby into a little bit of extra income for us. Since I have no other job, I am free as a bird with an open and flexible schedule! I can easily adapt to your schedule and your pets’ needs:) I can easily provide whatever is needed for your pet. Your pet can run freely inside or be crated to your preference. The only thing I can’t provide is a fenced in yard, but our yard is huge and far from neighbors, and I have a totally free schedule to walk and entertain your pet however much you’d like. If I am coming to your home, you can trust me to follow whatever directions you have. You can also trust me to never take on more pets than I can handle just for the sake of the money, because my main objective is to provide excellent care above all else! We have one medium-sized dog, but he stays with “grandma and grandpa” while I am pet sitting unless of course you request for your pet to have some company!
“Katherine always does such a nice job caring for our 3 little dogs. Always responsive, always caring and does a great job updating us with notes and pictures.”

I treat every dog like my own and make sure they feel happy and comfortable while you’re away. I work 11am to 7pm schedule so i am available in the mornings until 11am and evenings after 7pm. On the weekends 24h availability! I am very flexible Your pup’s new BFF! I keep tails wagging with walks, playtime, and cuddles, whether at my place or yours. Happy, safe, and spoiled pups guaranteed!
About: I’ve cared for pets for decades! I’ve cared for cats, dogs, reptiles, fish, rats, bunnies, and more! I’ve cared for all ages and needs levels of dogs and cats. I’ve cared for anxious pets who won’t eat and laid-back let’s who just want cuddles! All animals welcome! Over the summer in free quite a bit! I will have a few things planned here or there but I’m super flexible. During the school year, evenings and weekends are best. I live in an apartment so having your pets in my home will be more difficult but not impossible. I would prefer your home because the pets will be more comfortable and relaxed! Providing the best environment for your pets is my priority.
“Journey was awesome with our kitty cats. She instantly clicked with both of them. It was the first time we left both at home and we absolutely were relaxed with Journey’s updates and sending us pictures and videos.”

“Dorothy may be the best pet sitter I've had. I've had many. She was thorough, calm, patient and did exactly The way I wanted. She stayed in touch while I was gone. Will use her again 💯”

“Natalie was amazing at taking care of my dog! She was so sweet, kept up with all updates and I know my dog was in good hands with her! Highly recommend booking with her.”

“Minh is the best!!! We sometimes extend our trips and Minh is always great at communicating and stepping in when she can. She always goes above and beyond, no matter what!!”

“We just started working with Jamie and will definitely use her services again. We had to leave town unexpectedly for a family member in hospice. She eased our minds during a very difficult time. She was very reliable, our kitties loved her and she has a great personality and knows customer service. So thankful to have found her.”

About: I've had dogs in my life since the day I was born. I have experience with a range of dog breeds from a small havenese to a 100 lb Bernadoodle. I've owned my own dog for 6 years and he's an energetic, loving golden retriever who I'm lucky to call my best friend. I also have a cuddly cat named Blue who would love nothing more than to eat and cuddle all day long. I understand the pain of leaving your pets behind to go make a living, have a social life, or any number of reasons. I want to help you feel more at ease when you leave your pet at home. I’m currently in between jobs after finishing up grad school, and I’ll have a lot of free time on my hands. I look forward to helping car for your furry family member! I love talking my pet on walks, to dog parks, and offering frequent potty breaks and attention. I can play a great game of tug or fetch, and I'm more than happy to indulge in a cuddle sesh.
“I really love how Yair took to Rahma…she knew how to respond to Yair actions especially how this was his first experience to have someone else to care for him other than family. I really felt comfortable with her taking care of Yair. She asked me questions about Yair care that i didn’t even think to ask. She allow me to not worry about Yair care while I’m on my trip. She followed instructions to the point. I will definitely uses her service again and referred her to others.”

About: I’ve loved and taken care of dogs since my childhood. During my high school years, I was at home full-time with our dog, a Westie named Duncan, so I was responsible for feeding and walking him, letting him outside, and playing with him. Since then, I have gained additional experience with house sitting and in-home visits by taking care of friends' and neighbors' dogs. Dogs are such a joy and when I take care of them, I’m committed to making sure they feel happy and loved. I’m currently working full-time hours via two part-time jobs, one being for a church and the other at Jimmy John’s. I have flexible availability outside of my work schedule, and I am able to request breaks so I can stop by to check on your dog. It’s relatively easy for me to adjust my schedule and make time to check on your pets as needed. For in-home visits and care, I promise to be extremely careful and respectful regarding your home. I will do exactly what is required to take care of your pets. I have experience following a schedule for meal time and potty breaks, so I can adhere to any routine you keep for your pets.

Amanda was fantastic! She did drop in visits for our dogs. Amanda visited 3 times a day and she was very prompt with her arrival times and the schedule we set. She also sent pictures of our dogs for us to see how they were doing while we were on vacation. I would highly recommend her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Indian Trail with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
