About: Hello, my name is Lara. I am a long-time educator with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools with 22 years of experience teaching at the elementary and middle school levels. I have lived in the Charlotte area for 38 years and know how important it is to have people who you can trust and rely on in your circle. As a teacher, responsibility, professionalism, communication and timeliness are a part of who I am every day. I bring that level of professionalism to every aspect of house sitting and pet sitting. I have raised two children in Charlotte and currently have two human grandchildren, four dog grands, two cat grands and two lizard grands. Throughout the years I have cared for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, horses, ferrets and pet mice. I am comfortable with feeding routines, long or short walks, administering basic care, providing enrichment, cleaning litter boxes and providing companionship while you are away. I work Monday through Friday, 7:30 to 5:00, in the Concord Mills area. Due to my teaching schedule I would be best suited for: Overnight house sitting Vacation pet sitting Early morning and evening pet care Weekend care Pets that are comfortable being alone during a standard workday I currently work full time with a consistent schedule every day of the week. I get up at 5:00 am and at work by 7:30. My mornings are generally time to prepare for the day ahead and would include a walk if desired, feeding, enrichment and time for cuddles if needed. I return at the end of my work day and will provide a walk, enrichment based on your pet’s preferences, feeding and any needed cleaning. If I am staying at your home there will be additional time before the bedtime routine for time spent together. My general rule for care is always to be safe first and foremost. That means all doors, gates and fences checked when in an area. The yard is checked for safety before we go outside and walks are always on leash with a back up leash for emergencies. I follow your pet’s schedule and your house rules. I am at your home to keep your pet safe and comfortable until you return. This includes multiple times that I will communicate with you daily. Your pet’s safety, comfort and your peace of mind are my goals.

About: My passion isn't just for people—it's for pets, too. I spend my days in HR, but my evenings are filled with walks, playtime, cuddles, and giving dogs the love and attention they deserve. I work in office full time so I am available for boarding every Friday after 4pm & all day Saturday. Daily care (drop-ins, walks, etc) after 4pm M-F and all day Saturday and Sunday. I have a 7 month old Aussiedoodle. We have plenty of space for another dog, a crate, playpen, bed. Many toys for the puppy to play with and a backyard for them to run around and potty. We go on daily walks and have play time.

About: I’ve been working with dogs for 6 years, but they’ve been my biggest passion since I was little. I have a certification in dog training, have taken a first aid class, and have experience with all kinds of pups! Dogs are my full-time job, which means your pup gets all of my time and attention! My day revolves around the care of my furr-ends! I have a fenced in yard, as well as a small turfed section that is double fenced for extra safety. I have a room in my home dedicated to the care of my clients! I have large comfy kennel spaces for each of my guests but if your pup happens to be social and non-destructive I would allow them to free-roam!

About: Hi, I’m Jillian. I currently own 2 dogs. A hound shepherd and mini dachshund beagle. Growing up we had a chocolate lab. Later on the family adopted a shepherd mix and then a husky. I also used to have an adorable little hedgehog and 2 birds. I currently work full time during the week and the occasional Saturday. Depending on distance I will be available for your pets for a mid day check in. I have experience at the Humane Society of Eastern North Carolina; walking/playing with dogs and feeding cats. I’ve also worked at an exotic animal farm (It’s a Zoo Life) taking care of the animals and assisting tours. I’m comfortable giving medications. Both of our family dogs take daily meditations as well as my hound shepherd. The husky is disabled, has had many surgeries and sometimes needs help getting around. I’m willing to pick up and drop off, bathe, walk and entertain your animals. I will also house sit, water plants or check mail if needed. I love puppies and kittens and I’m willing to stay overnight if needed. Exotic pets welcome! I currently work one full time job. Durning the week I have a break mid day. No breaks on the weekends but shorter hours. Depending on the distance of the address I can stop in on my break as well as before and after work. I like to stick to house rules of the owner. Please let me know specific things you would like me to oblige by or things to look out for. Otherwise the standard no crewing on people things only their own stuff, no getting on tables or counters, no biting, no pee/poop on furniture, etc.

About: I’m new to rover, but I’m anything but new to pet care! I grew up taking care of all sorts of animals — goats, ferrets, guinea pigs, lizards, you name it! And in the last ten years, I’ve unintentionally built up quite a resume with pet sitting just because of my passionate love for animals. Your pet can run freely inside or be crated to your preference. The only thing I can’t provide is a fenced in yard, but our yard is huge and far from neighbors, and I have a totally free schedule to walk and entertain your pet however much you’d like. If I am coming to your home, you can trust me to follow whatever directions you have. You can also trust me to never take on more pets than I can handle just for the sake of the money, because my main objective is to provide excellent care above all else! We have one medium-sized dog, but he stays with “grandma and grandpa” while I am pet sitting unless of course you request for your pet to have some company!

About: Hello! I have taken care of animals big, small and scaley since I was 15. I would love to make sure your best friend is taken care of while you enjoy a stress free environment. Expect a daily update with 1 pictures of your best friend living the dream. I am a night shift weekend CNA/Medication Aide your best friend will enjoy a minimum of two walks a day, more can be added if needed. Currently I do not allow sleepovers at my house. I do this to make sure that your best friend is comfortable and their stressors are limited while you are gone.

I do work as a school counselor by day but I am available for drop in mornings and afternoons after 4:00. I am available to stay overnight on weekends. I am kind to all animals and believe they deserve respect and someone to advocate and be their voice. I am also experienced in administering medication to pets and have experience working with feeding tubes. I have experience working with senior dogs and those with restrictive dietary needs as well as those who may have a disability. I do work a full time job. However, I am available to do drop ins from 6-7 am and after 4:00 pm M-Friday. I can also be available to stay overnight at your home on available weekdays. I do work in Charlotte so I am available to the Mint Hill, Concord, Salisbury, and Lexington Area. Your pets safety is my priority. I prefer overnight stays to be in your home where your pet feels comfortable. I am available for walks or check ins and play time at your home as well.

About: I worked for Petsmart's dog salon for 4 years so I know dogs of all shapes, ages and size! I am active and can run or walk your dog for distances if they love it too. I had two senior dog, who both past. ( 14 and 16) I am not ready in my heart to have another pup join our family, but would love to give yours extra attention and care. I’ve also cared for goats, chickens, lizards, fish, and birds. Since my husband works from home and our children are a bit older, I have free time during the day to help you make sure your pets are healthy and happy while you are away. I know how difficult it can be to fit in all the responsibilities of owning a pet. I'd enjoy the chance to ease some of the burden. I’m starting school in the Spring and would like something fun to fill my days between school drop off and pick or. I also just love having extra pets to love! I’m very open to caring for pets in their home and our home if it’s a good fit. My father lives with us and can’t risk a fall with a dog who jumps on people.
