About: I have worked in the animal field for a very long time I have worked with boarding animals as well as playing with daycare dogs, I have 2 shepherds of my own! I used to foster puppies and kittens and loved it! Attending to my own animals needs is a daily routine that I love doing I love playing with them and feeding them and giving them baths and I love training them I wouldn’t be who I am today if I wasn’t able to be with animals! I like to earn every animals trust before I make any move to love and take care of them, I have taught and fixed resource guarding and worked on food aggression with my dogs and I always separate to feed if needed to

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life (4 dogs and 5 cats to be exact!) I currently have 2 orange cats who I am mildly obsessed with. I work from home in the Matthews area and would love to drop by to see your pets during the day or to give you peace of mind while you’re away. I work from home in the Matthews area so my days are flexible! I can drop by if you’re out during the day, or stay longer to keep them company while you’re away! I have a fenced in yard and work from home with my husband. I live in a quiet residential neighborhood that makes going on walks easy.

About: A lifelong cat lover, I got my pet-sitting start with greyhounds — basically giant cats that can hit 40 mph and then lounge for 20 hours straight. If there's a dog bed, a couch, or a sunny patch of floor, these couch potatoes will find it! I love working with all breeds and sizes, from small dogs to big mixed breeds. It's through greyhounds that I first learned every pet has its own personality; even within one breed, and I pay attention to what each one actually needs. Walks or sprints (within fences of course), cozy downtime, and feeding and dietary needs — raw diets, allergies, or just keeping mealtime on schedule — are all part of care. I always keep a close eye on leash handling. Sighthounds especially can sometimes get distracted by everything from a rustling leaf to a squirrel three yards away. Since every dog pulls, weaves, or settles differently, I read each one and adapt. When I'm not on pet duty, I'm an artist and researcher. I grew up in this area and recently moved back after 25 years in New York City. I'm still getting reacquainted with the area, and always up for local recommendations! I generally work from home on my laptop computer, with occasional trips to my studio. Making your pet a priority and arranging my schedule around theirs is not a problem. When I met her during our meet and greet, her knowledge and experience made me really comfortable leaving my 10 week old puppy with her while we were gone for about three hours. This was the first time me and my husband left our puppy alone with someone else since we got the pup and he did great! Victoria followed all our instructions and even went above and beyond to teach our puppy some commands and make sure he does not have any accidents while she was in the house. She also took care of our six-year-old dog and sent us regular updates with pictures! I would definitely recommend Victoria and would love to have her back to take care of our pups.
Virginia is amazing to work with! She took detailed notes in a visit prior to pet sitting and made sure that I felt comfortable with everything and that our cats had the opportunity to get to know her. During our trip she sent detailed recaps and took lots of amazing photos. I felt so comfortable with her that I did not have to worry once about the care being given to them. Our puppy was growing and the instructions for care kept changing with her size/potty training- these changes went really smoothly in part because she kept everything consistent 😁 We've been working with her for half a year now, and we have never had any issues or complaints.
