I understand that every pet deserves patience, kindness, and individualized care. Whether it’s going for a walk, playtime, feeding, or simply providing companionship. I’ll treat your pet with the same love, attention, and respect I’d give my own. I’m a retired IT professional with over 45 years of customer service experience, which gives me the flexibility to work around your pet’s schedule and not the other way around. I’m dependable, punctual, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. In my free time, I love pickleball, walking, hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, music DJ, and volunteering in my community. An active lifestyle makes me a great companion for energetic pets, while my calm, patient nature helps shy or senior pets feel comfortable. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with a caring companion, I’ll provide the attention, affection, and reliable care they deserve. When caring for pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I’ll carefully follow your instructions for feeding, fresh water, medications (if needed), walks, litter box or yard cleanup, and playtime. I also understand that many pets simply enjoy companionship, so I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and reassurance while you’re away. At the end of the day, I treat every pet like they’re my own—making sure they’re happy, healthy, and well cared for. 🐾 As a disabled veteran, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. “All of her pictures were super cute! She did great taking care of our two cats and was very receptive to my unnecessarily long information/to-do list 😂”

“Thank you Jeana for taking care of our furry friends! Jeana checked in and provided pictures each time she came over to take care of the dogs. She was very kind and pleasant and I know my dogs were well taken care of.”

“Evgeniia did a great job with the girls! She was dependable, SO easy to work with, and made sure our girls were cared for and loved while we were traveling for work. She quickly learned their preferences and kept an eye on the house, which was nice.”

“Katherine did an awesome job caring for my 2 fur babies! They trusted her enough to give cuddles and pose for pictures instead of hide 💜! I will definitely recommend her to others and use her again.”

“Shakoya is amazing with our collie puppy! She is always on time, communicative, and even brings our deliveries in the house. Thanks to her, I never have to worry about our doggie when I’m not at home! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

“Emily (and her hubby) were great! They always arrived right on the requested time and provided great visit notes and pictures. She was also super communicative and understanding - especially while trying to figure out visit times around the holidays.”

About: I have two babies of my own. A mini schnauzer named Luna and a great Pyrenees named Simba. I love dogs and have taken care of them my whole life. I am in between jobs right now so I have flexibility to check in with any pupper that needs attending to or just wants to hang. I will definitely treat your home as if it is mine and make sure the baby feels safe and protected at all times. I will be there to help in any way I can as I know how hard it is to find someone to take care of my little ones.
“We feel so lucky to have found Brandi to care for our kitty! She clearly loves what she does and provided excellent communication and regular photos. 😻 We could definitely tell a difference from other pet sitters, because when we came home, our sweet boy was well-groomed (he won’t let just anyone near him with the furminator comb, haha!) and seemed relaxed. In addition, the litter box was immaculate. In the past, we’ve arrived home to find him stressed and mangy-looking. When your pet is truly a member of your family, you hope to find someone who will love on him when you are away— Brandi did just that!”

“Cerys was so good with my 100 plus pound bully. She made him feel so comfortable with her that she didn’t even need treats to warm him up. I would definitely be booking her again for all my travel needs. She was super professional and sent plenty of photos. Thanks a million Cerys!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Pineville
Diya was fantastic: She was ontime and followed instructions to the letter. After she took care of our 9 and a half y/o cat and locked the house, the cleaning lady came to do her weekly chores and inadvertently locked the cat somewhere in the house and she couldn’t use the litter box or eat dry food from the dispenser. In panic, contacted Diya and she made sn emergency trip to the house to let Dina out of the locked room. A heartfelt thanks do Diya!

I was so grateful for Sara! I was out of town staying with a friend and she was able to go over and take care of my sweet girl Olive. It was so convenient and Sara did a great job! Thank you so much for making my trip even more enjoyable and without having to worry about my dog.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
