Are you looking for a trustworthy feline whisperer and canine connoisseur? An appreciator of toe beans, biscuit kneading, and back scritches? I'm a life-long animal lover! I grew up caring for family and friends' pets, and I currently live with a mixed lab potato and three cats - it's a furry family zoo around here! I am also a foster for a local animal shelter, and have experience caring for all ages and stages - from nursing kittens to geriatric cats & dogs and providing palliative care.

Emily was amazing! She gave daily updates and sent pictures of my kitty. She was easy to get in touch with and responded very quickly to any questions I had. Most importantly, my cat seems to be very happy spending time with her. They took very good care of her and were very gentle with Cleo. I will definitely rebook with Emily.

This is the second time my cat has stayed with Emily and her family. I can’t recommend them enough. They treat him as their own while he’s with them and send lots of pictures and updates so I know he’s okay. Will definitely have my cat stay with them again!

Programa
When your cat or dog is under my care, they will be loved like one of my own! I work part-time from home with a flexible schedule, so I am available to work with you as needed. With your consent, my two kids have grown up caring for animals and would love to occasionally accompany me, simply for the joy of caring for and playing with your beloved pet.

Depending on the number of daily visits, water and food bowls will be cleaned and filled. Any yard eliminations will be picked up. Litter boxes will be scooped, bags placed in the trash, and the surrounding area will be swept. The rest of the visit will be spent playing and interacting. If your pet is on the shyer side, I may simply sit nearby and give them the space to feel more comfortable. If your cat is a guest in our home, they will have a private room for themselves. There are multiple cat trees and comfy beds/surfaces to interact with, and a big bright window to curiously gaze out of at various woodsy critters. I will engage at your cat’s comfort level, whether that’s keeping them company while I work and/or playing intentionally throughout the day.

If your pet likes to be engaged in interactive play, I am more than happy to entertain them with their toys. If they prefer solitude, I am happy to sit and work on a hobby alongside them. Extended scratches, pets, and rubs are always complimentary ;)
