Caring for Pets Like Family
Your pet’s second home — full of love, play, and adventure! Hi, I’m Kristen! Animals have always been a part of my life. Growing up, we had dogs, cats, and birds, and today, I foster for a local rescue organization. I truly can’t imagine life without animals — they bring so much joy, companionship, and love. Friends and family have trusted me for years to watch over their beloved pets. I understand that pets are not just animals — they’re family, and they deserve to feel safe, loved, and happy at all times. That's why, when your pet stays with me, they become part of our family. A little about me: I’m also a teacher with summers off, which means tons of time for walks, playtime, and cuddles! During the school year, my partner works from home so they will never be alone. I organize our days to keep your pet active, mentally stimulated, and, most importantly, feeling safe and loved. We are an active, outdoorsy family, and your pup will enjoy long walks, play sessions, games, and plenty of exercise if they love it. Cuddle bugs are more than welcome, too — we love lazy snuggle time just as much as outdoor adventures! My promise to you: I will treat your pet like family— with unconditional love, attention, and the best care possible. I know how hard it can be to leave your furry friend behind, and I’m honored to help give them a fun, loving, and safe stay while you're away.

Kristen is a wonderful host. My pet loved staying with her. She communicated with us on regular basis on how my pet is doing along with pictures. I can't hope for a better host.
So very thankful for Kristen and her family taking care of our golden doodle Cappy. It was a last minute schedule change for us which sent me scrambling through reviews for a dog sitter for 3 days. Kristen responded promptly and professionally and saved our anniversary trip from being canceled. Kristen kept me updated with comments and pictures for our entire trip each day and night and reassured me Cappy was doing great. He ate well which is a telltale sign if he is happy and feels safe. Cappy looked like he was having a blast everyday. In his pictures and when we got him home, he was ready for a nap. I highly recommend Kristen and her family for pet care.
I will admit that I was a 'Nervous-Nelly" about leaving our newest rescue, Lucy, for the first time but after my M&G with Kristen I felt more comfortable. She asked a lot of questions about Lucy, and answered all of mine - so we both felt it would be a good fit. During the boarding stay, Kristen kept in good communication, and with pics, which she knew would reassure me. It did. Will gladly use Kristen again as Lucy clearly enjoyed it too!
Kristen took such great care of our pups while we were away on vacation. They were given tons of love, attention, exercise and felt right at home at her place. And she sent us the BEST pictures ever!!!
