Leaving your pets with someone else is a big decision, and I don't take that trust lightly. First things first - you'll notice my profile says Sarah & Dru. I'm Sarah, and I'll be your primary point of contact and your pet's primary caregiver. My mom, Dru, is listed as a trusted team member who provides occasional backup support if it's ever needed. The vast majority of visits are completed by me, but having Dru on the team means your pets will always have reliable, familiar care, even if the unexpected happens. Pet care isn't my side job, it's my profession. As the owner of Whiskers & Walkies, I've built my business around providing dependable, personalized care that pets love and owners can feel confident about. As a pet parent myself to one dog and two cats, I know every pet has their own personality, quirks, and routine. Whether your dog wants to play fetch for the entire visit, your cat just wants quiet company while they supervise from across the room, or your senior pet needs a slower pace and a little extra patience, I'm happy to meet them where they are. I have experience caring for puppies, senior pets, cats, dogs, and pets with medical needs, including administering oral medications and insulin injections for diabetic dogs and cats. I'm also comfortable reinforcing puppy potty routines and basic training, caring for shy or anxious pets, and adapting to each pet's individual personality and comfort level. Communication is just as important as great pet care. After every visit, you'll receive a detailed Rover card with photos and an update on how your pet did, so you can relax knowing they're happy, safe, and well cared for. I believe great pet care is about more than feeding and walks - it's about building trust with both pets and the people who love them. My goal is to care for your pets the same way I'd want someone to care for mine: with patience, kindness, reliability, and lots of love.

I currently provide care exclusively in my clients' homes because I believe most pets are happiest and most comfortable in the environment they already know. I make it a priority to keep your pet's routine as consistent as possible by following your instructions carefully, whether that's feeding schedules, medications, favorite walking routes, bedtime routines, or simply knowing exactly where they like their treats hidden. I'm experienced using a variety of walking equipment, including harnesses, gentle leaders, transitional leashes, slip leads, and e-collars, and I'm always happy to follow your preferred handling methods. Every pet is different, and I take the time to understand what helps them feel safe, confident, and comfortable. Your trust means everything to me. I'll treat your home with the same respect I treat your pets - with care, professionalism, and attention to detail.

We were so anxious to have our first ever dog walker. Sarah did a phenomenal job with our very anxious Staffordshire Terrier. He loved walking with her and was very relaxed. We will definitely be using her services again in the future!!
Sarah was amazing!! She spent time with my girls and even got my shy one to mingle with her and let her pet her. Sarah sent pictures and was on time and I loved the report cards! 10/10 would recommend to a friend. :)

Sarah and Dru were the best rovers I have ever seen. Super friendly, easy to communicate with, and EXTREMELY loving with my fur baby. Your dog is lucky if they get to have these folks take care of them.

Schedule
Pet care is my full-time profession, so my schedule is built around my clients, not the other way around. Because I don't fit pet visits around another job, I'm able to offer consistent, dependable care throughout the day. Whether your pet needs a midday walk, a vacation visit, extra playtime, medication, or simply a little companionship while you're away, I'll make sure they receive my full attention.
