About: Hi there! My name is Diya and I’m an experienced dog lover with hands on care from puppyhood all the way through the senior years. My dog has been by my side her whole life, so I’ve navigated everything from puppy zoomies and training to the slower, gentler needs of senior care as she got older. That means I’m comfortable no matter what stage of life your pup is in. ❤️ Since my dog is on the larger side, I’m very comfortable with big dogs, handling leash pulls, playtime energy, and just generally being comfortable around larger breeds. Whether your dog needs an active walk, a calm cuddle session, or just someone who understands their routine, I’d love to help take great care of them! 🐾💓 Drop-ins are preferred but I’ll never turn down the opportunity to chill with your furry friends for a couple hours throughout the day as well! 🏡 Creating a harmonious balance between my furry friends and daily life is my top priority. With a well-structured schedule, I ensure that pet care seamlessly fits into my day, every day. Whether it's early morning walks, midday play sessions, or evening snuggle time, your pet's needs will always be met. I understand the importance of consistency and routine for our furry companions, and I'm committed to providing them with a stable and fulfilling environment. Trust me to keep their tails wagging and their hearts content while effortlessly incorporating pet care into my daily joy-filled routine! Although I live in an house without a fenced yard, rest assured that your cherished pets are in the best hands. Safety and comfort are my utmost priorities when caring for pets, whether it's in my home or your own. In any situation I create a welcoming space with ample room for play, cozy corners for relaxation, and secure boundaries to ensure their well-being. Regular walks and engaging activities are integrated into their stay to provide both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Additionally, with my house being part of a secure community, your furry companions will enjoy an added layer of safety during their time with me.

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I bring to every pet. I take time to really understand their routine, personality, and needs so they feel comfortable, safe, and genuinely cared for—not just watched. I have experience with puppies and can help reinforce basics like potty training, leash walking, and positive behavior in a patient, encouraging way. I’m also great with senior pets, making sure they’re comfortable, sticking to routines or medications, and adjusting care to match their pace. I’m reliable, easy to communicate with, and I keep you in the loop with regular updates and photos so you always have peace of mind. At the end of the day, I treat every pet like they’re my own—making sure they’re happy, healthy, and well cared for. 🐾 As a disabled veteran, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m available 24/7 and have the flexibility to give pets consistent, reliable care throughout the day and night. In my apartment: I create a calm, pet-friendly space where they can relax and feel at ease. I stick closely to their usual feeding schedule, walks, and sleep routine so nothing feels out of place. There’s plenty of supervised playtime, attention, and a safe area for rest. I keep things clean, structured, and low-stress so it really feels like a home away from home.

About: As long as I have lived I have been surrounded by pets of all kinds. Namely cats and dogs, but also guinea pigs, ferrets, chinchillas, snakes, hamsters, fish, and others. Even since moving out I still regularly care for my friends and families pets. This has given me experience in taking care of pets in all stages of life, from newborns needing potty training to seniors needing medication. I work from home, and most of my work day is hands off letting some coding scripts run. So this gives me a lot of flexibility and time in my day that outside of some select meetings I can focus fully on your pet. If allowed to work in your space I can make any schedule of your pet's needs work. This allows me to always be available to your pet, and combined with my extensive experience in taking care of pets with specialty needs I feel confident in my ability to provide the best possible care.

Cerys is awesome! I've booked her twice and will book her again for sure. From the second she met with us during the meet&greet, I could tell her and Diesel were bonded. She was receptive to all the information and "quirks" that Diesel has and worked with her. She didn't take the shortcut and just take Diesel to the park. She ran her as far as Diesel wanted to go. Diesel is so happy to see Cerys anytime she came by for a walk.

Kristena is this patient, flexible and knowledgeable. She has the same breed of dog that I have and she’s giving me great insight on bear. When Bear returns home from the walk, he is so tired that all he can do is lay on the floor, which I appreciate very much. Since our chronic migraines and other health issues, I really appreciate all that Kristena how interacts with Bear.

About: Your pet’s second home — full of love, play, and adventure! Hi, I’m Kristen! Animals have always been a part of my life. Growing up, we had dogs, cats, and birds, and today, I foster for a local rescue organization. I truly can’t imagine life without animals — they bring so much joy, companionship, and love. Friends and family have trusted me for years to watch over their beloved pets. I understand that pets are not just animals — they’re family, and they deserve to feel safe, loved, and happy at all times. That's why, when your pet stays with me, they become part of our family. A little about me: I’m also a teacher with summers off, which means tons of time for walks, playtime, and cuddles! During the school year, my partner works from home so they will never be alone. I organize our days to keep your pet active, mentally stimulated, and, most importantly, feeling safe and loved. We are an active, outdoorsy family, and your pup will enjoy long walks, play sessions, games, and plenty of exercise if they love it. Cuddle bugs are more than welcome, too — we love lazy snuggle time just as much as outdoor adventures! My promise to you: I will treat your pet like family— with unconditional love, attention, and the best care possible. I know how hard it can be to leave your furry friend behind, and I’m honored to help give them a fun, loving, and safe stay while you're away. What You Can Expect Summer Schedule: Full-day attention and care Morning hikes or walks Playtime with games and puzzles Outdoor exploration and backyard fun Cuddle sessions and rest breaks School Year Schedule: Long morning walk Mental stimulation with puzzles and games Playtime in the afternoon Evening after-dinner walk Extra love and cuddles before bedtime Assuring your pet is happy, loved, and well-cared for is always my #1 priority! We are an active family that loves to be outdoors. We will make sure your pup is active, but most importantly feels safe and loved.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
