About: I’ve loved all animals all my life plus I’ve had and have a pet now. It would be a pleasure to take care of your pets with all my heart! I work from home (or anywhere) but primarily in the South Charlotte area. I’m flexible with my time during the day so I’m available to help when needed. I also attend graduate school which I fund with my Rover income. Please consider booking with me-thank you! Pet safety is my number one concern and priority! I’m patient, caring and loving to all animals. Personally, I believe dogs and cats are special creatures. I’m happy to discuss your needs for your pets so I can give you all the best experience ever!
“Alan communicated all the needed information from the walks. He was always punctual for the 6 evenings that he walked McAlister. My dog loved him and was exhausted after his walk. Yea!!! Alan also learned our routine quickly, and I didn't need to be around when he arrived at our home. I hope he will agree to walk McAlister again. Thank you, Alan”

About: As long as I have lived I have been surrounded by pets of all kinds. Namely cats and dogs, but also guinea pigs, ferrets, chinchillas, snakes, hamsters, fish, and others. Even since moving out I still regularly care for my friends and families pets. This has given me experience in taking care of pets in all stages of life, from newborns needing potty training to seniors needing medication. I work from home, and most of my work day is hands off letting some coding scripts run. So this gives me a lot of flexibility and time in my day that outside of some select meetings I can focus fully on your pet. If allowed to work in your space I can make any schedule of your pet's needs work. This allows me to always be available to your pet, and combined with my extensive experience in taking care of pets with specialty needs I feel confident in my ability to provide the best possible care.
About: I have been able to train dogs in basics (sit and stay) pretty quickly, including my own, and are dogs better than humans? For sure🥰 I currently work, but I can ask off as much as I need to & whenever I want. I’m also a Realtor which lets me create my own schedule. I don’t offer bringing pets to my home just because I have 2 dogs and I still live with my family. At a client’s home, the pup feels more comfortable and knows their way which I think is a much better transition, rather than taking them to a new environment.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my professional experience working at a dog boarding facility for two years, where I cared for dogs of all ages and temperaments. This experience has given me the skills to handle various situations, from managing energetic pups to providing special attention for senior dogs. Additionally, I've been a dog owner since 2012, which has allowed me to develop a strong understanding of dog behavior, training, and the everyday care needed to keep a pet happy and healthy. I am dedicated to providing your pet with the best possible experience. I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of extra time to care and love for your pet. I am free mornings and early afternoon as well as late nights. But I can be flexible. Whatever you and your pet need. Unfortunately, my childhood dog recently passed away but now I have extra space and time for your pets! I have all the necessary things to care for your pet as well as a crate for smaller dogs if needed. But every dog is different so the routine I had for my dog is different than the routine your pet is used to, so whatever your pet needs while you are away, I will be happy to provide that for you both.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for years I even have two of my own! I have the patience for a tiny little puppies soft the oldest of seniors. I love all breeds and sizes from the tiniest little friends to the biggest friends! And every furry friend is different to attention to detail is important! I’m currently working part time and starting college in the fall so I’m limited to walks and drop ins at the moment but that doesn’t mean they won’t be fulfilled! My availability will open up more once I’ve steadily started school and can hopefully make Rover my only job while in school! I am limited to drop ins and walks but I can make the most of my time with your friends as possible! With my dogs personally I have a big yard that I like to sit out with them and still walk them so if your pup is the kind to chase after a ball I’m definitely down for some fetch or maybe even some tug!
About: I’m a mom of 3 kids and 4 fur babies. I would love to care for your pets and they would be treated like my own! I grew up with pets of all kinds and have always loved them! We currently have 2 cats, a dog and a bunny. I am patient and pay special attention to details. I enjoy connecting with and getting to know new pets and making them feel comfortable with me. I work part time so my schedule for pet care is very flexible! With advanced notice I can usually accommodate most requests. We can do a meet and greet and see if it’s a good fit for both of us. I can check in on your pup at your home, feed, water, play with and give potty breaks or I can take your pup for a walk.Your pets will be blessed under my care! Reach out with any questions!
“Duke and I love Brandi so much. She made duke feel so loved and comfortable and gave him long walks and tons of love. She is forever our go to whenever we go out of town or a just because walk because I know duke loves her. Thanks Brandi 💗”

About: Hey! I’m Elizabeth I’m a college student studying nursing with a big love for animals! I offer boarding and drop-in visits, and I’ve grown up around pets my whole life. Right now, I have three adorable cats and a turtle, and I also volunteer with local shelters by taking dogs on staycations to give them a break from the kennels I have experience with big dogs, shy pets, and everything in between. Whether your pet needs some playtime, cuddles, or just someone to check in while you're away, I’ve got it covered. I’ll treat your pet like they’re part of my own family—because that’s what they deserve! Can’t wait to meet your fur baby! Pet care is a natural part of my daily life! With three cats at home, I’m used to building my schedule around feeding times, play sessions, and plenty of snuggles. I also make time during the week for volunteer staycations with shelter dogs, which has taught me how to balance school, responsibilities, and pet care. Whether it’s early morning drop-ins or evening boarding routines, I’m happy to fit pet care into my day—it doesn’t feel like work when you love animals! When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they have a quiet, cozy space to relax, plenty of attention, and a routine that matches what they’re used to. I keep things calm, clean, and stress-free—especially important for pets that might be a little nervous in a new environment. I follow your instructions closely, whether it's feeding schedules, medication, or favorite toys and treats. For drop-in visits, I take time to bond with each pet so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I make sure they get playtime, fresh food and water, a clean litter box or potty break, and some love and attention before I go. I treat every pet like they’re my own—with care, respect, and patience.
About: I have two babies of my own. A mini schnauzer named Luna and a great Pyrenees named Simba. I love dogs and have taken care of them my whole life. I am in between jobs right now so I have flexibility to check in with any pupper that needs attending to or just wants to hang. I will definitely treat your home as if it is mine and make sure the baby feels safe and protected at all times. I will be there to help in any way I can as I know how hard it is to find someone to take care of my little ones.
“Kristena is this patient, flexible and knowledgeable. She has the same breed of dog that I have and she’s giving me great insight on bear. When Bear returns home from the walk, he is so tired that all he can do is lay on the floor, which I appreciate very much. Since our chronic migraines and other health issues, I really appreciate all that Kristena how interacts with Bear.”

“This was my first time having someone walk my Nova girl and I was very impressed with Cerys’ communication and ability to connect with Nova so quickly! It was such a relief coming home from a long work days to a happy pup. Thank you, Cerys!!”

About: Your pet’s second home — full of love, play, and adventure! Hi, I’m Kristen! Animals have always been a part of my life. Growing up, we had dogs, cats, and birds, and today, I foster for a local rescue organization. I truly can’t imagine life without animals — they bring so much joy, companionship, and love. Friends and family have trusted me for years to watch over their beloved pets. I understand that pets are not just animals — they’re family, and they deserve to feel safe, loved, and happy at all times. That's why, when your pet stays with me, they become part of our family. A little about me: I’m also a teacher with summers off, which means tons of time for walks, playtime, and cuddles! During the school year, my partner works from home so they will never be alone. I organize our days to keep your pet active, mentally stimulated, and, most importantly, feeling safe and loved. We are an active, outdoorsy family, and your pup will enjoy long walks, play sessions, games, and plenty of exercise if they love it. Cuddle bugs are more than welcome, too — we love lazy snuggle time just as much as outdoor adventures! My promise to you: I will treat your pet like family— with unconditional love, attention, and the best care possible. I know how hard it can be to leave your furry friend behind, and I’m honored to help give them a fun, loving, and safe stay while you're away. We are an active family that loves to be outdoors. We will make sure your pup is active, but most importantly feels safe and loved.

Five stars honestly doesn’t feel like enough. Cerys was absolutely phenomenal with Lila. From the moment we met for our introduction, I immediately felt comfortable and knew she was the right person to trust with my little furry roommate. She was fantastic with Lila, incredibly communicative, dependable, and kept me updated throughout every visit. Most importantly, it was obvious that Lila was comfortable with her, which is really all I needed to see. Having someone come into your home and take care of your dog requires a lot of trust, and she made that part incredibly easy. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to have her take care of Lila again. Absolutely, 100% recommend!

Brandi is amazing!!!! Bailed me out so I could wedding venue shop with my daughter and walked my very clingy and very anxious pups. I could not be more grateful for the help today and will definitely be calling on you again. Thank you so much for loving on my crazy furry kids🥰

Alan communicated all the needed information from the walks. He was always punctual for the 6 evenings that he walked McAlister. My dog loved him and was exhausted after his walk. Yea!!! Alan also learned our routine quickly, and I didn't need to be around when he arrived at our home. I hope he will agree to walk McAlister again. Thank you, Alan
Mya was phenomenal! We went to the NASCAR roval and did not plan on it being as long of a day then it turned out to be. We booked Mya the night before (my husband and I travel the country full time). I was a little worried being that we usually stay in VRBO’s rather than hotels. However, mya put all those worries to rest! She sent pictures and my puppies were very happy when I came home!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
