I recently finished my B.S. in Forensic Science and, while I am waiting on job opportunities in the field, will have a very open schedule for the foreseeable future. I am very flexible and open to working in whatever way/time fits best with your schedule and your pets' particular lifestyle and needs!

Safety, trust & environment
I can offer day through night house-sitting, drop-ins up to every two hours, walks, or a combination, depending on what works best for you and your pet(s). With working in the daycare and boarding field for so long, I take the safety of and trust between myself, you, and your pet(s) very seriously. I have experience monitoring multi-pet households, in which different safety concerns or special needs per pet must be monitored. I also have a special love for senior pets and am more than happy to cater to their needs, whether that means slower or more frequent walks, special diets, or extra medical needs. I am able to give oral and injectable medications and have general knowledge on things such as: commonly used medications and monitoring potential concerns, such as abnormal stool, to determine if at-home care options are possible or if symptoms could indicate something that may need Veterinary Care. In the case of multi-day care or if you have specific concerns, I can provide detailed daily notes, regarding eating, medication, bathroom habits, behavior, etc., and pictures of your pet. ** Please note that I am more than happy to stay at your home full-time (24/7), but this will incur variations in my nightly rate which can be discussed at the time of the meet and greet.
Information Shelbie S. would like to know about your pet
I do require a meet and greet if this is my first time staying with your pet. Any quirks, special needs (lifestyle, diet, allergies, medications or other health concerns, etc.), or any other information that is unique to your pet, that can be given to me ahead of time will help me to provide your pet(s) with the best care possible!
A typical day
I am able to cater to your pets lifestyle/activity needs. Whether that is daily exercise (long or short walks, outside playtime, etc.), or if your pet is more of a couch potato or just needs someone around to mitigate separation anxiety.

Reviews

Shelbie watched my four dogs for a long weekend. She took care of the dogs and the house; everyone was played with, fed, and happy! Thank you so much!

Shelbie was absolutely fantastic. Pacer is a lot of work and needs help walking around and Shelbie was very kind patient and gentle with him. He also takes lots of medications and she was great with that as well. This was our first time with Shelbie but it won’t be our last!

Shelbie is always reliable and kind with our older diabetic cat.

When we arrived home, Pepper & Feather were happy and healthy! Shelbie is reliable and professional! I highly recommend her!
