About: I’ve been caring for animals from a small child. Many people have called me the Animal Whisperer because the connection I have with animals and many experiences with animals in my lifetime.

Our family of three children has owned many dogs and cats giving me experience with pets of different personalities, needs, and routines. I understand that every pet deserves patience, kindness, and individualized care.

Whether it’s going for a walk, playtime, feeding, or simply providing companionship. I’ll treat your pet with the same love, attention, and respect I’d give my own. I’m a retired IT professional with over 45 years of customer service experience, which gives me the flexibility to work around your pet’s schedule and not the other way around. I’m dependable, punctual, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. In my free time, I love pickleball, walking, hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, music DJ, and volunteering in my community. An active lifestyle makes me a great companion for energetic pets, while my calm, patient nature helps shy or senior pets feel comfortable. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with a caring companion, I’ll provide the attention, affection, and reliable care they deserve. When caring for pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I’ll carefully follow your instructions for feeding, fresh water, medications (if needed), walks, litter box or yard cleanup, and playtime. I also understand that many pets simply enjoy companionship, so I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and reassurance while you’re away. About: I have ample experience caring for animals of all kinds. My family and friends rely on me to care for their pets when they are away, as well as provide them with advice on how to care for said pets on their own. Personally, I have two dogs, four cats, and other types of animals at home. I am currently going into college and hoping to fit pet care into my weekly routine while being a full-time student. Caring for my own animals is a part of my daily routine, so adding a few more will be no problem. I am willing to help in any way I can. I have approximately 2 acres of fenced in yard that any pup would love to play in. Said yard comes with 2 friendly and loving dogs that would love to have a playmate. Water, shelter, and luscious grass to lay in is provided.

I've owned all types of animals including dogs, cats, birds, and horses. I absolutely love spending as much time around fur babies as much as possible. I live a very active lifestyle so I enjoy taking dogs on long walks and make sure they can get their energy out. I'm currently working from home and have a very flexible schedule so I can find time to take your fur babies for walks during the day or drop in when needed! I currently have two dogs in a fenced in yard. We live right by trails where being active is a must. I understand the importance of keeping dogs stimulated physically and mentally.

About: I've been told by my three dogs that I give the best walks and ear scratches around. We don't just walk as much as we prance and dance and let everyone know we own that road. I usually let them pick the music. Snuggles, ear scratches, and belly rubs are the best way to cool down afterward. I was a phlebotomist so I am comfortable if a dog needs an injection or any kind of medications. Cats are a whole different type of mood. I will happily play fetch for them. I've been told by my cat Inky that I am a good peasant who serves her King well. As you can see from this profile I try to keep it easy and fun and I feel like you, your family, and your pets will feel the same way. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to customize my day. I am available when you are at work or at night. Generally, throughout the workday, 9 am - 5 pm or later in the evenings 8-10 pm I will treat your pet like my own and make sure they are safe, loved, and well cared for. Plenty of time to play, walk, and treats( if allowed)

About: I’ve been a dog walker and pet sitter since March 2024. I have experience walking all sizes of dogs from Bernese Mountain dogs to an 8 week old pug. I’ve worked with deaf dogs, a dog that was post-op for an ACL tear, and administered medicine if the pet required it. If you have a reactive dog, I may not be the best fit for you, and that’s okay! I have experience with dogs that are reactive to cars, but I prefer not to work with dogs who are reactive to other animals. I started doing this for a little extra cash & exercise when I’m not touring as a full-time stand up comedian. (It’s a real thing. I promise you never have to hear my jokes, but your dogs probably will at some point during our walks.) If you need a weekday dog walker, I’m your gal! You will also have ample notice for any time that I am traveling out of town for shows as my tours are booked the year prior. I had about 10 consistent weekly clients in Pittsburgh working with a business called Happy Tails, but I just moved to Charlotte so I’m looking for new clients! I’m available most weekdays. Weekends are tougher and will depend on my schedule from my full-time job, but I am open to weekends as long as I am in Charlotte. I am very serious about the comfort and safety of your pet. That means I will take the safest route possible (paved sidewalks with low traffic if possible), provide water, and clean up after them when they potty to keep your neighbors happy. I am happy to follow any guidelines you have for caring for your animal. I am also open to doing a trial period with your pet to make sure that we are a good fit for each other.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
