About: My experience comes from owning my own pets (goats,chickens,ducks,dogs,cats,bunnies,guinea pigs,hamsters) and petsitting (yes, even even horses, pigs, snakes and bugs). In previous years, I fostered for countless animal rescue groups and shelters, whether it was just volunteering or fostering puppies or senior dogs in need. I currently own a pitbull/lab rescue, Cali, who I trust with few people. I completely understand the anxiety when it comes to trusting someone new to watch over your pup. This is why I prioritize communication, forming relationships with both pets and parents, sending frequent updates and paying close attention to details/routines provided to me. After each visit, you can always expect to find water bowls to be clean and full, leashes hung up and everything just as you left it except this time with a happy and tired pup! I have a dog of my own, so pet care is already built into my routine and something I look forward to everyday. About: Hi! I’m a 19-year-old nursing student at Lipscomb University who genuinely loves animals and treats every pet like my own. Between having a cat and bunny myself and being the go-to pet sitter in my neighborhood, I’ve spent tons of time caring for pets of all personalities and energy levels. I’ve done overnight stays, walks, feeding schedules, playtime, cuddle sessions, and even handled the “I miss my owner” zoomies and anxiety. Whether your dog wants to play outside for hours or your cat just needs someone calm to hang out nearby, I’m happy to match their vibe. I’m responsible, patient, and will make sure your pets are loved on while you’re away! Pet care fits really naturally into my routine! I currently work part-time mostly evening shifts, which leaves me with flexible mornings, afternoons, and weekends for walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays. Since I already care for my own pets daily, spending time with animals is already a big part of my routine and something I genuinely enjoy. I’m very organized with my schedule and make sure every pet gets plenty of attention, care, and consistency while their owners are away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always try to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow all feeding schedules, walk routines, medication instructions, and house rules closely so pets feel safe and stress-free while their owners are away. I’m very respectful of clients’ homes, keep things clean, and make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and care. I also love sending photo updates so owners can feel relaxed knowing their pets are happy and doing well!

About: I adore animals and their personalities. I have animals of my own! I have 4 dogs and 2 cats. 2 of my dogs are babies 8 months and 9 months old, 3 month old kitten. I’m up every morning walking feeding changing puppy pads as I’m in the process of potty training 2 puppies also in the process of litter box training my kitten. I try to stay on a routine especially for the animals, if that involves feeding medication exercise. My animals stay on a schedule every morning and every night.

About: I have been dog-sitting ever since I was 12, but in the past 4 years I have dog (and cat)-sat for friends while they are at work, going on long trips, or just to help them while they're busy ! I really love meeting new furry friends! My schedule is very open! I’m leaving my current full-time job soon and focusing on my small business, and I have been looking for a way to hang out with more dogs! I have one dog! She is a German Shepard so she gets lots of exercise, play time, and attention. She is brushed often and is given all the patience she needs and deserves!

About: I’ve pet sat for my neighbors and family members for a few years. I used to pet sit for my aunt a lot and I loved it but she moved away, so I can’t pet sit for her anymore. About: I have always grown up with dogs in the house and currently have a 9 year old rottie! I have pet sat for dogs, cats, fish, and reptiles. I am comfortable staying over night in someone’s home. I love all pets. I am a remote worker so I can do extended stays. I have a flexible career so I am pretty available on the fly. I have a fiancé at home to take care of my dog while away. About: Husband & wife team that has dogs, cats & chickens on over a half acre. We love animals & can't wait to love on your fur baby! We have 5 cats, including two bonded pairs, and 2 with special needs. We have training experience for dogs as well. We have a special needs dog, and have been proud pet parents of two senior dogs for 5 years. We have experience from puppies to hospice care. We are well adept with different training and dietary needs, and love dog walks. Our large fenced in backyard (half an acre) and two catios give our pets plenty of space to explore. We also have invisble fence for the front yard. We are skilled at grooming and nail trimming and dog teeth brushing, as well as giving medication. We love to spoil our pets; so we have a multitude of pet sofas, dog beds, cat trees, and a comfy outdoor dog house. And we love to cuddle all pets, so bed snuggles are encouraged. However, we have crate trained and support that as well! We also work well with cat backpacks and harness trained cats! Since we are a couple and I am a stay at home mom with a large car, your pets will be doted on and given any adventures you’re comfortable with. We even have doggy seatbelts! I'm a stay at home mom and my husband works from home part time, so we have ample time to take care of your fur babies. We have a fenced-in yard and 3 friendly dogs for your dogs to play with, as well as a screened-in deck (that is really a catio) and an upstairs screened-in catio for any feline guests. We also have an invisible fence for the front yard, to make sure everyone is safes We have ample space and time for supervised fun. In a client’s home, we like to stick to the routine to which an animal is most accustomed to in order to minimize disruptions and stress. That being said, we are more than willing to give ample enrichment via new park walks, frisbee throwing or training exercises. We are also skilled at grooming dogs and cats, including nail clippings, if that is an interest. We love to give cuddles and share our bed and couch, but we have crate trained before and will do whatever is best for your pet. Special dietary issues are no concern, as we already deal with daily in our home.

About: I have one year experience working with a dog walking / pet sitting company in Boston, MA, and I would love to continue that experience now that I'm in SC! I've had dogs my whole adult life, and cats since childhood. Your babies will be safe and happy in my hands, and I will love them like they're my own! My schedule is currently very flexible. I am available weekdays, weekends and for overnight stays, rain or shine! I have a vehicle and I live within walking distance of downtown Rock Hill! Unfortunately, I am unable to care for pets in my own home. Exceptions may be able to be made for well behaved cats and small animals, but I don't have a yard for dogs.

About: I am a stay at home mom with free time on her hands. I currently do not have any pups of my own but have had both dogs & cats for as long as I can remember. Many years of experience, including medical experience with pups! I currently work from home and am able to be with your pet around the clock for all of their care and needs with tons of love! When checking on your sweet babies, I always start with calm greetings to ensure your sweet baby is comfortable and okay with me. After ensuring they are comfortable, I will then proceed with the visit.

About: I grew up with animals in my house dogs and cats. I also lived in a farm for about 5 years of my life. I love taking care of animals and playing with them. About: Hi, my name is Shavonna and I’ve been on Rover since the beginning of Spring 2019. I’m 32yrs old and I live in Rock Hill SC, and I have two boys and a daughter. They are 1yr, 4yr, and a 11yr. I love working with animals, it’s my passion other than being a mother to my kids. I went to school for veterinary assistant and have a certification to help animals or to take care of them. I treat animals is like they was my own. I’m very sweet and gentle when it comes to someone pet and if you let me I can show you how a good pet sitter I can be! My skills are is to let the pet know that I’m in control because sometimes the pet might run over you, so you have to show them who’s boss. Any other way I will not neglect the animal nor abuse, I feel that’s an awful thing to do! Like I said you have to treat the animals as just as if was my own because they are human beings just in a different way! I work from home. So basically I be at home the majority of the day. So I have time on my hands to fit pet care in my schedule! I make sure they are well love as much love I give to my boys and daughter! I also will take them on walks as needed to get the nature outdoors!

About: I have 10 years of pet care experience. I am well versed with dogs, cats, horses and other farm animals. I can handle large dogs and still cuddle with the little dogs. I get to care for my friends fur babies and I am grateful for every moment. I have experience with seniors and puppies (or kittens!) and can handle pretty much any situation. I am also able to administer medications if needed. I am currently working at a carriage barn 5 days a week. However, my hours are very flexible there so I can fit your pet into my week with no problems. I am also available weekends! I prefer not to board at my home, just to help keep the peace within my own animals and to not cause unneeded stress on your fur baby. I can do up to 3 visits a day, preferably nothing exceeding an hour unless necessary. I will watch over pet like it is my own. That being said, I will abide by any rules you may set for your animals. I will walk them, play with them, and love on them.
