About: *RELOCATING TO CHARLESTON SC AUG 17TH* I have been around dogs my whole life. We do have one older dog who does require medical care so I do have experience in that department. I have been dog sitting for people since I was 10 years old. I am home most hours of the day, since I am already regularly taking care of pets, adding your pets to my daily routine is simple. Your pets will never be left for more than 2 or 3 hours (depending on their individual needs of course!). We have 2 other dogs. A sweet and submissive lab rescue and a smaller cavalier. We cannot host dogs who are aggressive due to this. Dogs at our house are walked typically once a day. We have a spacious fenced in backyard so your dog will be able to play worry free several times a day. Dogs are spoiled with lots of toys, places to sleep and constant attention.

About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I spending time with animals, whether that’s walking or relaxing! I am very used to giving care because I have worked summer camps for 4 years now. I am also a division 1 athlete so I am able to walk long distances for energetic pups! For the time being, I am free all day! Once summer camps begin I will be available in fhe morning before camps (5-7am) and after camps (5-9pm). I will arrive to your house with plenty of energy, time, and focus for your pup! I will also make sure they are comfortable before I leave!
“Lily was very nice to both myself and Biscy. I wanted to set up a time for Biscy to meet her so he would be comfortable with walks. She was 100% willing to meet him and played with him as well as got to know him. She also made sure to let me know about her qualifications and everything she would do for Biscy on the walk. Very friendly and all around great person!”

“Kaylee was great! She is very communicative and respectful! My one fur baby was obsessed with her! My other one warms up slowly so she hid most of the time, but Kaylee was patient and let her have her space which I appreciated!!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and they’ve always been treated as true family members. Beyond caring for my own dog, Thor, I’ve also looked after pets for friends, relatives, and clients, always providing the same level of love, attention, and responsibility. What sets me apart is my ability to adapt to each dog’s unique personality and needs. I’m experienced with: - Puppies (routine, potty training support, and early socialization) - Senior dogs (patience, comfort, slower pace, and gentle care) - Dogs with anxiety or separation needs - Picky eaters or dogs with specific feeding routines - Dog socialization in a safe, controlled home environment - I carefully introduce dogs based on temperament, energy level, and comfort, creating positive and stress-free social experiences when appropriate. - I understand that every dog is different, and I take the time to follow their habits closely so they feel safe, comfortable, and truly at home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, as I work from work with flexible hours. This allows me to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and attention throughout the day. The idea for my service came from my own experience: I could never find a place where my Maltese, Thor, truly felt at home—always close to someone, sleeping in bed, and never feeling lonely or anxious. That’s why I created a VIP, home-style experience where your dog is treated just like mine—with love, freedom, and respect for their routine. 💕🐾 In my home: Dogs are treated like family They’re welcome on the couch and bed Their routines are followed closely They receive consistent companionship and attention Walks, playtime, and affection are part of the day I provide a calm, structured, and supervised environment and carefully manage each dog’s compatibility to ensure a safe and positive experience. There is absolutely no judgment here—whether your pup is spoiled, has unique habits, follows a very specific routine, or occasionally has indoor accidents (pee or poop). I’m happy to adapt to what makes them feel comfortable and secure. You’ll receive daily updates with photos and videos so you can relax knowing your pup is happy, safe, and loved.
“Sharon is amazing!! My cat loves her, and she is great with him. Even spritzes my plants for me :) My cat had a really bad UTI from stress while I was gone for the holiday, and she was able to take him to the vet for me while I was out of state and get meds for him. She really will go above and beyond for you and your pet if needed.”

About: Hey, I’m Trystan! I grew up with several dogs, cats, and other pets throughout my childhood and even into my adulthood! I’ve volunteered with animal shelters during my time living in Texas, and have adopted two cats of my own. I now live in a home with two dogs and four cats! Growing up, we had so many different pets from dobermans, to jack russell terriers, to ferrets, to cats. My babies are the highlight of my day, every day. I am confident that I can deliver the same love, care, and attention to your furry friend. I am always punctual, honest, and attentive! Whether it’s taking a long walk with your dog, or playing laser with your cat, I’m confident that we will both be having a blast. 😊 My schedule is very flexible and I am very easy going and open minded. I look forward to meeting with you and your furry friends!
“Haley was great with my dog with special needs. She followed instructions provided updates and showed she really cared. We would definitely use Haley as our sitter again. Thank you!”

About: Enthusiastic dog lover who loves long walks with furry friends! I’ve been a dog owner for 11 years and truly adore animals. Reliable, patient, and dedicated to keeping your pup happy, active, and safe with walks and in-home care. I’m a student at the College of the Charleston who is home for the summer with a very flexible schedule, so I’m available throughout the day for walks and drop-in visits. Pet care easily fits into my daily routine, and I’m able to give pets consistent attention, exercise, and care whenever they need it. I am available for dog walking and in-home pet care. I will give your pet(s) tons of love and attention. I am happy to share photos and updates throughout my visit. It is imperative for your pet to feel comfortable around somebody new, therefore I am more than happy to set up a meet and greet before any of my services so that you and your fur-baby are at ease. I have administered my dog's medication when needed, and I am open to taking on that responsibility with dogs in my care if need be. I am happy to provide references upon request.
“Maria is fantastic! Super friendly and understanding, easy to work with, and highly reliable to take care of my old dog. It's taken a huge weight off my shoulders to know I can count on her. Highly recommend and so grateful for her help!”

About: I’ve pet sat for my neighbors and family members for a few years. I used to pet sit for my aunt a lot and I loved it but she moved away, so I can’t pet sit for her anymore. I had so much fun, and I love spending time and caring for every animal. I look forward to meeting your amazing pets, and watching over them for you! I’m currently unemployed and have plenty of free time to check in and care for your pets. Im free the whole 7 days of the week :) I have 5 furry babies myself, 2 big dog fenced in the backyard and 3 kitties in the house, I also have 3 hermit crabs that I take care of. I have plenty of experience with all kinds of pets even a pig :)
About: I have grown up caring for dogs, cats, fish, & reptiles (and insects); ever since I can remember. 25+ years, I've at least lived alongside cats and dogs. Really, I just enjoy animals! In my adult years, I have raised/trained 4 dogs & am proud of their behavior/demeanor. I watch a lot of my coworker's & friend's dogs so I thought I should try Rover in my free time! I'm a laid back, happy person. It's hard to get me upset or panicked. I do take animal interactions seriously & understand reinforcing desired behaviors. I am VERY safety conscious for myself, others, & animals. I am a professional, organized, & caring person. I will follow your directions & take good care of your pet! Professionally, I am a Regional Safety & Health Director for a large contractor. Been practicing safety/health professionally for 10+ years. With my career, I can mostly make my schedule. I can check in on animals throughout the day and some days I'll plan to work from home when I know I've got some guests. I won't accept the booking if I can't adequately care for your family member. My home is very animal friendly. I have dogs here often. I have hard floors with rugs, a big couch and lots of room to separate animals or let everyone stretch out. I also have a nice fenced in back yard. Pretty quiet, friendly neighborhood on the edge of Charlotte. Animals can hang with me doing whatever I'm doing or they can do their own thing!

Tega Cay dog parents share their Rover experiences
Sydney was so kind to Lily and to me. She was great with communication and sent detailed report cards to let me know my baby was safe and loved on. She also stayed the full 30 minutes, which I have struggled with with other sitters in the past. I would highly recommend her!

Grace is awesome! She handled our 19 year old cat with such care. She was wonderful with our young cat and grumpy dog, too. All of our pets are rescues and our dog can be trying. Grace sends lots of pictures that ensure our pets are doing great while we are away. She even brought in deliveries for us. Grace exceeded our expectations!

I want everyone who ever contacts Rover that the person you need to look after your dog - especially an elderly one like our lab/newfie mix, Jackie - is Jennifer O. I have never seen anyone, with any organization, take the time to tend to Jackie so tenderly and so professionally, at the same time. From the time Jennifer O came to our house for the meet-and-greet - when Jackie instantlu felt a bond with Jen, refusing to leave her side, the whole time Jen was visiting us...to the time when she left him for the final time (when he was obviously happy and contented enough to lie down and take a nap before Jen left, no separation anxiety or other fear of being left alone - 100% on Jackie's time with Jennifer O was focused on him, with fabulous, gratifying results on our end. I am about to hire her for an overnight stay at her house this week, and I DO hope she will be available. I could never find anyone else who bonded with Jackie the way Jen did! Look her up - you'll be glad you did! Rizzie B

Wendi was great! She took the time to take my dogs for extended walks to make sure they felt taken care of. I also made a last minute change to the scheduled services, and she was very gracious and understanding. I would recommend her to take care of your pets while you’re away.

Val did a great job with Zoe!!!! I really appreciated that she came not once but twice to meet her before she took on the job of taking care of her today. Zoe is a little skittish so Val took extra time with her to get to know her and baby her which is what Zoe really likes!! She gave me plenty of updates and sent some awesome pictures!!!! We felt comfortable leaving her our house key after meeting her. We could tell that it was important to her to treat our pet like she treats her own. There’s no better feeling than being able to leave your house and have a good day because you have someone reliable and trustworthy in your home! Thank you again Val for doing such a great job!!! We will definitely have you back again!!
