About: I have been dog-sitting ever since I was 12, but in the past 4 years I have dog (and cat)-sat for friends while they are at work, going on long trips, or just to help them while they're busy ! I really love meeting new furry friends! My schedule is very open! I have had my own dog that had to be put down at 8 for medical reasons and it was the worst day of my life. I have sat small and large dogs, cats, and have helped a friend with chickens. About: *RELOCATING TO CHARLESTON SC AUG 17TH* I have been around dogs my whole life. We do have one older dog who does require medical care so I do have experience in that department. I have been dog sitting for people since I was 10 years old. I am home most hours of the day, since I am already regularly taking care of pets, adding your pets to my daily routine is simple. Your pets will never be left for more than 2 or 3 hours (depending on their individual needs of course!). We have 2 other dogs. A sweet and submissive lab rescue and a smaller cavalier. We cannot host dogs who are aggressive due to this. Dogs at our house are walked typically once a day. We have a spacious fenced in backyard so your dog will be able to play worry free several times a day. Dogs are spoiled with lots of toys, places to sleep and constant attention.

We have 5 cats, including two bonded pairs, and 2 with special needs. We have training experience for dogs as well. We have a special needs dog, and have been proud pet parents of two senior dogs for 5 years. We have experience from puppies to hospice care. We are well adept with different training and dietary needs, and love dog walks. Our large fenced in backyard (half an acre) and two catios give our pets plenty of space to explore. We also have invisble fence for the front yard. We are skilled at grooming and nail trimming and dog teeth brushing, as well as giving medication. We love to spoil our pets; so we have a multitude of pet sofas, dog beds, cat trees, and a comfy outdoor dog house. And we love to cuddle all pets, so bed snuggles are encouraged. However, we have crate trained and support that as well! We also work well with cat backpacks and harness trained cats! Since we are a couple and I am a stay at home mom with a large car, your pets will be doted on and given any adventures you’re comfortable with. We even have doggy seatbelts! I'm a stay at home mom and my husband works from home part time, so we have ample time to take care of your fur babies. We have a fenced-in yard and 3 friendly dogs for your dogs to play with, as well as a screened-in deck (that is really a catio) and an upstairs screened-in catio for any feline guests. We also have an invisible fence for the front yard, to make sure everyone is safes We have ample space and time for supervised fun. In a client’s home, we like to stick to the routine to which an animal is most accustomed to in order to minimize disruptions and stress. That being said, we are more than willing to give ample enrichment via new park walks, frisbee throwing or training exercises. We are also skilled at grooming dogs and cats, including nail clippings, if that is an interest. We love to give cuddles and share our bed and couch, but we have crate trained before and will do whatever is best for your pet. Special dietary issues are no concern, as we already deal with daily in our home.
