“Chase was absolutely wonderful taking care of my cat during my vacation. He is a fantastic communicator and put me at ease about leaving my fur baby with him. Chase is so personable; my cat immediately took to him. I for sure will be using Chase in the future.”

About: I’ve dog sat for up to 10 days at the owners residence multiple times. I love taking them on walks. Interned at vets office for a semester and had to walk dogs constantly of all sizes and breeds. Free every day. Able to do walks/ let out to potty whenever until 4 everyday. I Can let them out after I get off work if needed. I don’t mind staying the night either. I love my dogs with everything I have. I treat my pets as if they were humans. I love playing with them or just sitting with them and using their body as a pillow or to keep me warm. I am outside almost all day everyday so I love playing fetch or tug or in water.
“Sydney was a Godsent… I’m new to this service and I’m kind of clueless, all I know is that Sydney came through and watched my doggo perfectly. I highly recommend Sydney! I will definitely be calling on her again!!”

“Lillian was AMAZING with our dogs. Our oldest dog even loved her and that says a lot haha. She played with them, fed them and loved on them. Thank you so much, Lillian!”

“Erin was awesome!!!! She took such great care of our animals and was very communicative! She went above and beyond to make my animals feel safe and loved while we were away. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I’ve always had pets in my life! I’ve been taking care of pets that belong to family and family friends since I was in high school. I will truly treat your pets like they’re my own and give them all of the love in the world! I do work full time 8am-5pm Wednesday through Sunday with an hour lunch that I’m willing to use to take care of your fur babies. I’m off on Mondays and Tuesdays and available all day. I use only the best leashes. My preference is the Carhartt brand as they are sturdy and extremely hard to break. I also prefer to use a harness as it makes it easier to have a good grip and control when walking a dog, especially a big dog! When I enter or leave a house, I make sure no animals are near the door to get out.
“Kaylee was great! She is very communicative and respectful! My one fur baby was obsessed with her! My other one warms up slowly so she hid most of the time, but Kaylee was patient and let her have her space which I appreciated!!”

“Haley was great with my dog with special needs. She followed instructions provided updates and showed she really cared. We would definitely use Haley as our sitter again. Thank you!”

About: My wife and I have had a dog in our house for over 20 years. We love all dogs and treat them as part of our family. I work from home and am able to be here throughout the day. We give frequent potty breaks and play time as needed. I like to throw the ball daily with my dog before dinner. I have a fenced yard and plenty of space for dogs to run around. We also have plenty of places to walk as needed to get exercise.
“Becca responds quickly, is a great communicator, timely, kind, and respectful. Most of all, she is an animal lover and fluent in canine language and cues. She took great care of our senior Staffy and kept us informed throughout our trip.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and they’ve always been treated as true family members. Beyond caring for my own dog, Thor, I’ve also looked after pets for friends, relatives, and clients, always providing the same level of love, attention, and responsibility. What sets me apart is my ability to adapt to each dog’s unique personality and needs. I’m experienced with: - Puppies (routine, potty training support, and early socialization) - Senior dogs (patience, comfort, slower pace, and gentle care) - Dogs with anxiety or separation needs - Picky eaters or dogs with specific feeding routines - Dog socialization in a safe, controlled home environment - I carefully introduce dogs based on temperament, energy level, and comfort, creating positive and stress-free social experiences when appropriate. - I understand that every dog is different, and I take the time to follow their habits closely so they feel safe, comfortable, and truly at home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, as I work from work with flexible hours. This allows me to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and attention throughout the day. The idea for my service came from my own experience: I could never find a place where my Maltese, Thor, truly felt at home—always close to someone, sleeping in bed, and never feeling lonely or anxious. That’s why I created a VIP, home-style experience where your dog is treated just like mine—with love, freedom, and respect for their routine. 💕🐾 In my home: Dogs are treated like family They’re welcome on the couch and bed Their routines are followed closely They receive consistent companionship and attention Walks, playtime, and affection are part of the day I provide a calm, structured, and supervised environment and carefully manage each dog’s compatibility to ensure a safe and positive experience. There is absolutely no judgment here—whether your pup is spoiled, has unique habits, follows a very specific routine, or occasionally has indoor accidents (pee or poop). I’m happy to adapt to what makes them feel comfortable and secure. You’ll receive daily updates with photos and videos so you can relax knowing your pup is happy, safe, and loved.

About: I have 2 rescue dogs. 1 is a mini-schnauzer/poodle mix and the other is a chow chow who was born with Pulminary Stenosis, a grade 6 heart murmur and was born with no eyeballs. I’m currently available full time to take your babies on a walk, do a drop-in or for overnight visits! I’m open for jobs 7 days a week! I have two fur babies at home. I’m happy to sit in the comfort of your own home so that your babies are in their safe space and their routine isn’t disrupted.

About: Experienced lifelong animal lover offering reliable, dedicated pet care. Having personally cared for a wide variety of animals—including dogs, cats, rabbits, and livestock—I understand the unique needs and temperaments of different pets. I bring patience, strong empathy, and attentive, playful energy to ensure your pets feel safe, active, and comfortable while you're away. I work in the mornings and I'm off on the evenings. If you like me to stay at your home I can do that too, I've done it before with my aunt's and cousin's cat I have a kitty on my own, her name is Velvette. I wake up at 5am to get myself ready for work, before I leave around 6:30am I feed her tuna, and pour some of her dry food in another bowl. When I come back I give her treats, play with her, she follows me around and then we lay together in bed and then 10am I feed her tuna again

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Can’t say enough wonderful things about Christopher. He truly went above and beyond to make sure our pup was happy, safe, and cared for. He was reliable, caring, and treated our dog like their own. Incredibly grateful for everything he did and would highly recommend Christopher to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and dependable to care for their dog! Thank you for going the extra mile—truly the best!

Victoria provided exceptional care for our fur friend. She genuinely loves animals and treats them as if they were her own. She was attentive, compassionate, and took the time to understand our dog’s needs, routine, and personality. Victoria kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind. Our old lady dog was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when I returned home. Victoria also took outstanding care of my home. Everything was clean, tidy, and exactly as I left it. Her professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail were truly impressive. I would not hesitate to book Victoria again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and responsible sitter.

Grace W. came through again while we were out of town. Grace leaves detailed notes and pet observations. We have an elderly 19 year old cat that needs medication and Grace is happy to give her the meds. G. does a good job with our grumpy dog (he really does not like it when we are gone). Our 2 year old loves the pets! We are so glad to have Grace take care of our pets.

I want everyone who ever contacts Rover that the person you need to look after your dog - especially an elderly one like our lab/newfie mix, Jackie - is Jennifer O. I have never seen anyone, with any organization, take the time to tend to Jackie so tenderly and so professionally, at the same time. From the time Jennifer O came to our house for the meet-and-greet - when Jackie instantlu felt a bond with Jen, refusing to leave her side, the whole time Jen was visiting us...to the time when she left him for the final time (when he was obviously happy and contented enough to lie down and take a nap before Jen left, no separation anxiety or other fear of being left alone - 100% on Jackie's time with Jennifer O was focused on him, with fabulous, gratifying results on our end. I am about to hire her for an overnight stay at her house this week, and I DO hope she will be available. I could never find anyone else who bonded with Jackie the way Jen did! Look her up - you'll be glad you did! Rizzie B

Wendi was great! She took the time to take my dogs for extended walks to make sure they felt taken care of. I also made a last minute change to the scheduled services, and she was very gracious and understanding. I would recommend her to take care of your pets while you’re away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
