“Krissa did an an amazing job! We have 2 big dogs and a cat. She did great updating us about the visits and communicating. I truly felt our pets were in great hands with her. I would absolutely recommend and will be reaching out in the future!”

About: I have had multiple pets my entire life including 2 dogs, a total of 5 guinea pigs, 2 bunnies and 6 cats. I have experience pet sitting for friends and neighbors for many years. I also worked at a petting farm for many years where I took care of ponies, goats, sheep and other farm animals. I work remotely so I am very flexible and can accommodate many different days, weird hours or quick adds or drops. I also have experience working with dogs that have been abused by previous owners and the complications that can come with that such as depression, reactivity, and health problems. I also have thoroughly enjoyed training my family's dogs (with positive reinforcement and a lot of patience!) and look forward to training my own someday. I can't wait to meet you and your pups! I’m currently a remote worker with lots of daytime flexibility, perfect for dropping in on pups, going for midday walks and giving overnight stays the attention they need! I live in downtown Belmont, a fantastic neighborhood filled with pet parents. When there is a pet in my home, I make sure that they have plenty of room to explore, rest and play. I personally allow pets on my furniture like the bed and couch but of course if you express that that is not allowed for your pet I will make sure they have sufficient rest space/equipment around the house. I check on the water frequently throughout the day and have a filtered water fountain for smaller dogs and cats. I happily follow any feeding guidelines a pet owner may have and do not give them other food or treats without express permission. I also have an XL and medium size crate as well as a puppy pen available if desired.
“Courtney was fantastic! She agreed to drop in on both our pups on only a couple days notice and did an excellent job doing so. We’ll definitely be using her again in the future!”

“Megan was so amazing with all three of our dogs! She was great at communicating and updated us with lots of pictures. She did three drop ins and came over at the exact times and gave attention to all dogs. Our one senior dog has very limited mobility of his hind legs and needs to be carried outside and assisted while using the bathroom. Megan was perfect with him and helped him so much! Will definitely be booking Megan again and recommend her to everyone!”

“This is the second time Zora has cared for Blue on short notice. I was new to the platform and didn't know what to expect, but she has been responsive, sweet, and reliable. I will definitely continue to request Zora. I'm so thankful for her. We truly appreciate you, Zora!”

I have kept some clients from my time at Happy Dog and still petsit for them, my friends and family regularly. Typically every other week or a few times a month. If pet parents allow, I will let their dog play with my family's dogs, daily walks around the neighborhood or local parks and a comfortable environment. These also apply for house visits and any activity or request made by pet parents will be followed.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. My family has always had boxers, but I love all fur babies! I have had dogs of all ages from 8 week crazy puppies to 12 year old grey faced sweet hearts. I have spent over nights with friends dogs and have done day time or drop in visits. I always look forward to getting to work with new people and meeting new furry friends! I am a nursing student in Belmont, NC August-May and apart of the acrobatics and tumbling team at my college as well. While I am home in Bloomington, IL during the summers I work in the evenings coaching gymnastics and during the day I work part-time as a CNA. At home I love to play outside with my dogs, and I go on runs and walks often with them. When I am with other families dogs I respect all of their wishes regarding their home and their pets, and love to spend time getting to know what each dog needs: cuddles, playing, inside or outside time, etc.
About: I’ve taken care of animals of all kinds (furry, feathery, and scaley) since I was 12 years old. I have experience caring for exotics and others in all manners from feeding, walking, playing, training and more! A real life saver! She was able to check-in on my dogs with less than 12hrs of notice when something urgent came up taking me out of state and did a great job taking care of them and providing me with an update! I really appreciated her pictures and her level of communication

Sierra was so great with Dixie and an amazing pet sitter. She went above and beyond and followed all instructions. She was very attentive and flexible which I appreciated. I could tell Dixie enjoyed the time with her, especially after the walks! Would 10/10 book again and highly recommend to anyone needing a sitter.

Jordan has taken care of our dog multiple times, and we couldn’t be happier with her! She is always reliable and dependable, which gives us real peace of mind when we’re away. She has such a good-natured, calm presence, and our dog absolutely loves when she comes over to visit. It’s clear that she genuinely cares, and that makes all the difference. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
