About: Growing up with a farming family, I always wanted a dog, but dogs were not allowed in the house as pets. So 4 hamsters, a chinchilla, and countless fish later, I decided to volunteer at my local shelter to be around dogs all day, and 3 years ago I finally adopted my first! She was a nervous wreck in the beginning, but with lots of love and patience, she's morphed into the neighborhood sweetheart. I look forward to extending that same love and patience to your furbabies as well! I currently freelance remotely so I'm home often with a flexible, yet ever-changing schedule. That said, I'm available for one-time or pre-scheduled recurring visits on weekdays. I live in a safe neighborhood with a dog park. However, I do not currently offer dog sitting in my home. But I am highly organized and clean, so I will treat your home with the same respect that I would my own. My car is also equipped with dog seat belts and blankets for trips to the park if requested.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. My family has always had boxers, but I love all fur babies! I have had dogs of all ages from 8 week crazy puppies to 12 year old grey faced sweet hearts. I have spent over nights with friends dogs and have done day time or drop in visits. About: Growing up, my family always had dogs. Once our children started playing high school and college sports, we became too busy to have a dog of our own. For the past several years, we have taken family and friends dogs for long weekends, week-long stays...whatever we could do to get our "dog fix". We live in a two-story home with no kids or pets of our own, which means your dog will have a calm, quiet environment with plenty of space to play and relax. About: I've had dogs and other pets my entire life, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, quirks, and comfort level, and I take the time to learn what makes each pet feel at home. I recently spent almost 13 years caring for my Golden Retriever, Whiskey, who was a huge part of my everyday life. That experience taught me the importance of patience, consistency, exercise, companionship, and paying attention to the little changes in a dog's behavior. I’m comfortable with the everyday responsibilities that come with having a dog—from feeding and walks to keeping them comfortable, entertained, and included in the household. My goal with Rover is to provide a calm, safe, and genuinely loving home where your dog can feel like a guest rather than being treated like they're staying at a kennel. I prefer to keep boarding personal and manageable, with plenty of one-on-one attention and time together. I’m happy to follow your dog's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications or special instructions, sleeping arrangements, and any habits that help them feel comfortable. I also understand that being away from their owner can be stressful for some dogs, so I’m patient and attentive when they need extra reassurance. Most importantly, I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else. My goal is for you to feel confident that your dog is safe, comfortable, cared for, and getting plenty of attention while you're away. I work from home Mondays and Fridays and when keeping pets on office days come home for lunch and do 3 hour mornings/afternoons so they are never alone for long! I have a fenced in backyard and your dog has the entire house and all furniture to find their spot. I don't crate unless it is requested by owner.

“I don’t have enough words to thank Gabriel and Sara for taking such great care of my puppy while we were away! They treated Calleri as their own and truly made him feel like part of their family. You could tell they cared about him and followed all of the instructions we gave them, especially regarding his feeding and nap times. They have great communication and sent us lots of pictures, videos and regular updates, which gave us peace of mind to enjoy our trip knowing that Calleri was in great hands. They were also very flexible with the drop-off and pick-up times, which we really appreciated! Their puppy Charlie is the sweetest! He and my puppy got along so well! Charlie is such a friendly, playful and gentle dog and I was so happy that Calleri had a companion to play with all the time while we were away. I’ve tried a few different dog sitters in the Charlotte area before and I have to say that Gabriel and Sara ARE THE BEST! They truly went above and beyond my expectations.
