“Shakoya was amazing caring for our two cats this past week—she played with them, talked with them, gave them so much love, and did every single thing on our care list for them. She went above and beyond, even taking in deliveries on our doorstep for us! She was timely each day and kept us updated on how they were doing and the behaviors they were exhibiting. She also sent lots of pictures, which we loved and appreciated greatly! We will definitely book with her again. Not a single bad thing to say. Thanks again, Shakoya!!”

“Our anti-social kitty likes her better than us! Allison is incredible!!! From the moment we met her for a meet & greet I knew she was perfect. We felt 100% comfortable with her coming in to our home, and knew our cats were in great hands. She’s responsible, great at communicating with us, and so sweet. She must be a cat whisperer because our shy kitty not only snuggled her day 1, but even let Allison rub her belly! We are so thankful to have such a wonderful professional do checkins/feeding while we were away.”
About: I am a lifelong pet lover whoI started pet sitting for friends & family - cats and dogs - five years ago and I discovered that I really enjoyed it. I've offered services such as drop ins, daily feedings (multiple times if necessary), cleaning litter boxes, and so on. I am great at playing ball with dogs who love chasing balls; I also play with kitties who like playing with toys. If your pet is shy I sit quietly in the floor and let them come to me. I understand that it could take a visit or two for them to warm up to a stranger. I have a flexible schedule and am available seven days a week from morning hours, beginning at 6am through late evening with services stopping at 10pm. I always begin with a meet-and-greet so I can get to know your fur baby (or babies!)—their routines, preferences, quirks, and any special needs. This lets me tailor their care so it feels familiar, comforting, and stress-free. When I’m caring for your pets in your home, they get to stay in the comfort and safety of their own surroundings, which helps keep their routine steady and their anxiety low. I provide attentive, loving care that includes feeding, fresh water, potty breaks/litter care, medication (if needed), exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection. I follow your instructions exactly as you lay them out so everything feels just right for them. No matter the service, your pets are treated like family—with love, patience, connection, and attention to every detail.
About: I have years of pet care experience! I have spent my life wanting to make dog parents' lives easier. Not only have I had animals all my life, I have 5 years' experience at dog boarding facilities that also include daycare and grooming. I love all dogs, big or small. I also have experience in puppies, older gems and those who may be considered "difficult". I am here to make your life easier when you have to leave your pet. We all know it isn't fun to leave them, but I am here to ease your mind! I will make sure your pet is at ease while their human is gone! I can't replace you, but I will make it more bearable! I am more than happy to stay overnight with your pet! I can make time for morning, midday (depending on location) and evening potty breaks! I will come to your house so that your pet feels secure and comfortable in their own home. Unless you request that I bring them into my house, I usually like to keep them in their normal routine and place!
About: I’ve always loved animals and always have had pets. I’ve worked as an assistant groomer in NY. Many friends have relied on me to take care of their pets while at work or on vacation. Some of these pets have been on special diets, so I'm very conscientious about any food or treats that I gave them. The animals love me, and I love them. I am working part-time at a local grocery store on the weekend. My hours are the same every week. I have Monday though Friday open to care for any and all pets. I can also go before and after I work to take your dog or dogs out. An also spend some time with them I currently live in an apartment. I walk my dog, Martha, everyday. I take time each day to play and work with her and to encourage social interactions with other humans. I also care for the feral cats that live around the apartment building. When I have cared for friends pets in the past, I’ve fed them, walked them and generally spent time with them. They get lonely when their owners are gone, so I try to counteract that by spending quality time with each pet.
“Kayla is awesome! She has always been on time, with great feedback on her visits. My puppies are seniors and sometimes require a little more gentleness and kindness, Kayla surely delivered!! We are blessed to have found her!!”

“Callie is amazing!! Agreed to come over last minute and care for my dogs. I have one that is a little scared with people and he was totally fine with her. She sent us lots of pictures and videos during her drop in visits. 100% recommend and will definitely he booking with her again. Thank you Callie!!”
About: Hi all! My name is Janine. My husband, two kids, and I live in Clover! We live in a lovely home with a cozy yard that is completely fenced in, and plenty of room to welcome your fur-babies! As you can see from my reviews, I worked with Rover a few years back when I lived in New York. I took a break from Rover to pursue my career and since then my family has grown and we re-located to SC! I have had animals my entire life-dogs and cats- up until my beloved dog, Augie, passed away four years ago. I have a lot of love, time, and energy to give your fur-babies! Living within minutes from local fenced in dog park allows for all the walks and outdoor playtime your pet desires! My kids absolutely love pups so as long as your pet is kid-friendly they will get along perfectly! I offer dog walks, dog boarding for long weekends in my home, doggy daycare within my home for day visits, and even taking care of your pet in the comfort of your own home. Let’s chat and see how I can make your time away from your fur-baby a happy, stress free experience! Throughout the week I am always very very flexible. I am free to create a schedule with you that best fits your pets needs. No matter the day! I have a nice size yard that is fenced in so the pups can run about safely! I also live in a lovely neighborhood for walks!!
About: Hey, my name is Sarah, but i go by Aspen! I started pet sitting years ago but now I'm back on Rover! I am currently working part time (previously full-time) at and animal hospital, where I have been for a year and nine months taking care of the boarding cats, dogs, and exotics. I know how to clean, feed, and give medicine to most animals. I have also grown up with animals and have a true passion for them. I am able to walk as many as four dogs at once and I know how to pay attention to multiple animals at the same time. Currently transitioning to part time at an animal hospital, I work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 7-12 and I work alternating weekends, so I get about 2 weekends off a month. I am still new to Rover and trying to plan what I will do for each dog, but it is very much designed to you! Personally, I walk my dogs 3 times a day and feed them twice a day while my cats free feed dry food and get fed wet once a day, and everyone gets tons of rubs! I love playing with my dogs, I know how to play both with toys and with out. I can really get a dog's energy out, so most breeds and puppies are welcome!
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. 3 years ago I purchased my first dog of my own. Myrna. On top that I have also had / owned and rode horses my entire life. Filling in to help ag local horse farm for feeding / turn in / out. I’ve been around animals my whole life and am comfortable / experienced with all sorts. Weekends and weekday nights. I get home from work around 5. I can’t walk until about 5:30. Weekend availability is very open unless plans happen to pop up I treat every animal as if they are my own. I want the best for EVERY pet and never let them get anything but the best care. Truly.
“We are so very thankful to have our cats in great hands. Our older cat requires someone twice a day to come by, and he must be kept separated from our other cat. We knew both cats and our home were well taken care. Such a sweet and loving family. Will definitely be asking them again and again for help when we’re away.”
About: I’ve always grown up with dogs of various breeds even pit bulls. I love them all! I used to have a cat as well so I can take care of them too! I love animals and would love to help you and your pet! I dog sat when I was younger for the neighbors and always had pets of my own. My fiancé who has also grown up with dogs and lived with my cat will also help out so they have the best care. On the weekends I’m completely available and on the weekdays I’m available in the early mornings, with a drop in during my lunch at work, in the evenings, and late at night. I try to stay active so walks and play time will be a daily thing! If they’re staying with us my pup hero loves other dogs and to play often so they’ll always be entertained. I take a daily walk even when not pet sitting so they can tag along. I love animals so whether they stay at my home or I come to yours we will have play time and a walk daily :) it’ll be a vacation for them too! If pet sitting a cat I used to have one of my own so I know how they need to be stimulated and get their zoomies out so show me their favorite toy and We’ll get them some exercise. No matter the case I will do my best to keep your pet happy and cared for while you’re away. We have a plethora of toys here and Hero doesn’t mind sharing ever.
“Thank you so much for taking care of my babies. They were happy when we got home. The fact that Nina ate with you is amazing! She is so anxious that she doesn’t eat with anyone.”

If I could give 10 stars I would! Jennifer went over and above my expectations. She was the first dog sitter I’ve used since moving to SC. I have an older dog with medical needs and a 6 year old dog who suffers from anxiety and separation issues! She handled them beautifully 👍 A side note, she left my home clean and neat even putting the bag of puppy pads outside! She is now my go to person for my dogs!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Clover choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Clover with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
