About: I have personally had animals of a broad variety since I was born. I have sat for friends and family for over 5 years. I love it, love them like my own! I am currently an elementary school teacher and teach until 3 daily. I will be at home daily for the remainder of the day and am always home on the weekends. I have a fenced in yard that your animals can run and play in, an array of toys. If needed you can bring a crate for keeping if they are used to that. I do have cat crates.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I truly enjoy. Along with years of pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors, I worked at Charlotte Animal Care & Control, where I gained experience with just about every kind of personality—from playful puppies to stubborn seniors. I stay calm, patient, and attentive, and I know how important it is to earn both your trust and your pet’s. My goal is simple: happy pets, stress-free owners, and plenty of tail wags along the way Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I have a flexible schedule and make it a priority to give every pet the time, attention, exercise, and care they deserve. Whether it’s early morning walks, overnight stays, or last-minute bookings, I’ll do my best to accommodate your needs and keep your pet happy and on their normal routine. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I carefully follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special instructions. I have experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments from my time at Charlotte Animal Care & Control, so I’m confident handling a variety of situations while staying calm and attentive. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is in caring, capable hands.

About: Because I work remotely, pets are rarely left alone for long periods of time. I have hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages and energy levels... from a senior dog who became blind and deaf, which taught me patience and gentle, consistent care, to my current puppy, where I focus on training, routine, exercise, and positive reinforcement for high-energy needs. I also have two cats with very different personalities, so I am very attentive to body language and always respect each pet’s comfort level, allowing them to warm up at their own pace. I work remotely and am home throughout the day. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship without dogs being left alone for long periods. My mornings usually start with feeding and a walk or outdoor time. Throughout the day, I schedule additional walks, play sessions, and enrichment based on each dog’s energy level and needs. Because I’m home, I can easily adjust my schedule for puppies, senior dogs, or dogs who need extra attention or routine. I make sure routines stay consistent from day to day so dogs feel comfortable, secure, and at home. Dog care isn’t something I squeeze into my schedule—it’s part of my everyday life. My goal is always to provide a safe, attentive, and loving environment where dogs feel happy and well cared for. I take safety, trust, and comfort very seriously and always care for pets as if they were my own. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine while providing a calm, secure environment. In my home, pets are closely supervised and never left unattended for long periods of time. Because I work remotely, I’m able to be present throughout the day to monitor behavior, provide regular potty breaks, walks, and attention, and ensure pets are comfortable and relaxed. I keep my space clean, pet-friendly, and free of hazards, and I’m careful to follow any household rules provided by owners. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions closely. I make sure doors and gates are secure, food and medications are given as directed, and pets receive the level of interaction and exercise they’re used to. I’m also attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, or energy and communicate updates promptly. My goal is always to create a safe, low-stress environment where pets feel secure and owners feel confident their pets are in good hands.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Tryon with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
