About: I have had a passion for animals since I was very young. I have been working with dogs since I was 10 years old, doing things from basic pet care to behavioral training. I wanted to be a dog trainer since that time, so I have worked my whole life to have a deep understanding of these animals. In high school I was involved in a veterinary science program allowing me to intern at a vet office and a horse stable during my time in school. I worked at a daycare and boarding facility for two years after, then went through an intense 6 month program in Statesville to become a Certified Master Dog Trainer under the school Highland Canine School for Dog Trainers. I Graduated 9th of my class with a 90 and above the entire program. At this school, I worked with Police Dogs, Service Dogs, Trailing and Detection, Competition Level Obedience, Tool training, Behavior Modification, and more. I am now a proud owner of my own Dog Training Business. I would love to help care for your animals and tend to any of their needs! Because of owning my own business, my hours can vary greatly. I have control over my schedule, it is mainly just first come first serve. The earlier I get in contact with about boarding dates or training sessions, the higher likelihood it is on my schedule. Some months I have lots of space available, so just contact me as soon as you can! I have a fenced in yard and we have repurposed our sunroom into a training and boarding room. We have one friendly older dog in our house who is well trained and well socialized. The kennel room is kept clean and tidy and I have extra bowl, enrichment toys, slow feeders, kong toys, etc. for all my clients to use. I try to involve exercise and enrichment every day. I have all the necessary things to care for your pet as well as a crate for smaller dogs if needed. But every dog is different so the routine I had for my dog is different than the routine your pet is used to, so whatever your pet needs while you are away, I will be happy to provide that for you both.
About: Hi! My name is Amy. I live in a small 2 acre farm with my animal loving side-kick, Ainsley. We currently have 2 pigs and 6 chickens and a great pyrenees on our expanding farm. Growing up, I cared for various farm animals including dogs. I absolutely love working with animals of all kinds – big or small. I have fostered dogs while they find their forever home. I have experience with small and big dogs from a variety of breeds. Our tiny farm has multiple fence areas for your pup to run and play. We can work with your pets’ temperament to play fetch outside or cuddle on the couch if your dog needs love. I would love to know more about your pet. I would like to learn more about your pets breed and how they act around other animals and children. Please let me know if your pet has any medical issues, behavioral issues, or triggers. I would like to know if they do well in a fence or if they are an escape artist. I am happy to cater to your pet’s comfort level, if you allow them on furniture or would prefer them in a crate. Please let me know if they are spayed or neutered. I do require proof of an updated rabies shot. Look forward to setting up a meet and greet. Can’t wait to meet your pet. I currently work from home so the schedule is flexible and can be altered about your pets needs. We also have a farm and enjoy much of our time outside in the summer. I have fenced areas in the backyard for your pet to run and play. If for some reason the dogs do not get along in the fence area, I will either walk visiting dogs on a leash in the front yard or separate them in difference kennels.
About: My wife and I have had a dog in our house for over 20 years. We love all dogs and treat them as part of our family. I work from home and am able to be here throughout the day. We give frequent potty breaks and play time as needed. I like to throw the ball daily with my dog before dinner. I have a fenced yard and plenty of space for dogs to run around. Some dogs suffer from severe anxiety being in new territory so sometimes it’s best to have your pup stay in their home to make it easier on them. Of course the same goes for senior pups unless they require substantial care I have the means to actually stay in home and cater to their daily routine as I’ve had several jobs doing so. In my home I offer comfortable, personalized care for dogs or cats who enjoy a cozy, quiet space away from home. I have a dedicated space just for pet guests, where I can safely store their belongings (beds, toys, food, etc.) and give them a calm space to settle in. My home is clean, pet-friendly, and set up with all the essentials for safe and happy boarding, including food/water bowls, toys, and pet-safe cleaning products. If your dog is crate-trained, please provide their crate so they have a familiar, secure space to relax in. I want them to feel as comfortable and at ease as possible during their stay. If they are not crate trained and are a bed cuddler; please just let me know. I don’t mind as mine sleeps with me as well; so don’t ever feel judged based on you letting your dogs sleep with you.
About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 12 when I got my first family dog, I have since then raised my own 4 dogs. Animals are family and should be treated as a members. Yes, my dogs sleep in the bed :) I work a 9-5 remote schedule so I am able to be flexible most days for letting out to potty, and belly rubs and playing with toys! If I could be a dog walker/sitter full time I would be! My dream is to actually open a dog sitting business some day! I love dogs more than people!
