“Sydney was awesome! Our big dog was in love with her from the first moment. She went above and beyond to help when our return plans changed. I’ll definitely be asking her again to furbaby sit.”

“Ava provided exceptional care for my dogs and followed all instructions thoroughly. She was attentive, compassionate, and genuinely kind, taking the time to cuddle with them and ensure they felt comfortable and loved. I felt completely confident leaving my dogs in her care and would absolutely book her again without hesitation.”

“Bret took such good care of our house and our two energetic puppies! He took great pictures and kept us in the loop about everything. Hope he is free the next time we are headed out of town!”

“Karleen agreed to watch our fluffies last minute and was so amazingly helpful! She was great with the pups, stuck to the routine and sent regular check-ins. I will be asking her to help in the future!”

“Mary was so incredible! Our dog is very shy with people when they first meet and the second Mary walked in, her calming presence comforted Pepper to the point she was sprawled out asking for pets. Mary was so nice, responding so quick, and put up with my wife and I on our wedding weekend. She sent updates, pictures, and was very adaptable. Thank you so much Mary!”

About: I’ve pet sat for my neighbors and family members for a few years. I used to pet sit for my aunt a lot and I loved it but she moved away, so I can’t pet sit for her anymore. I had so much fun, and I love spending time and caring for every animal. I look forward to meeting your amazing pets, and watching over them for you! I’m currently unemployed and have plenty of free time to check in and care for your pets. Im free the whole 7 days of the week :) I have 5 furry babies myself, 2 big dog fenced in the backyard and 3 kitties in the house, I also have 3 hermit crabs that I take care of. I have plenty of experience with all kinds of pets even a pig :)
“Abigail was great! She provided updates throughout the day along with pictures and even video! She took care of our pup and home like it was her own. Thank you for a great visit!”
“Dai Yah, was prompt with her response when we urgently needed a last minute same-day booking request in order to go out to an activity and then dinner with family. Were extremely mindful and careful when looking over sitters profiles and this is the 4th time we have booked a house sitting request via Rover app and it was a pleasure to work with DaI Yah. If you’re interested in booking a sitter that has such a pleasant vibe like super chill and easy to follow care instructions for my little 5lb Shih-Poo then schedule with DaI Yah, we will be booking again many more times for DaI Yah, I already mentioned to her that were interested in a repeat sitter so Blaze has a pleasant experience each time we need house sitting care. Dai Yah, and I spoke with each other college and family and goals so it was a great having the brief conversation to try to build that sitter-pet parent connection.”

Although I will stop in multiple times a day to make sure they are okay. I will keep them on their normal schedule as much as possible. I am open to staying the night if a client wants me to

About: Lifelong animal lover with a calm, attentive approach to pet care. I got my start working as a pet care assistant at a veterinary clinic which gave me a solid foundation for recognizing when pets are happy, stressed, or not feeling their best. I work remotely from home so I have a lot of flexibility and your pet gets plenty of attention. I treat every pet like my own and communicate regularly with updates and photos so you always know your furbaby is in good hands. I have a kitten of my own (her name is Olive!) and I grew up with a dog and two cats, so I’m comfortable with all personalities. I work remotely from home which means I’m around throughout the day and able to give pets consistent attention and companionship. I’m most available on weekends and can accommodate weekday walks and drop-ins with advance notice (early mornings and late afternoons are best). I keep a flexible schedule and will always communicate promptly about availability. For in-home sitting I treat every client’s home with the utmost respect, leaving it exactly as I found it. I’m attentive to each pet’s needs and comfort level and always prioritize their safety above all else.
“Jaelyn did a GREAT job with my two anxious dogs! She kept them for a week and I felt confident in her the entire time! She kept me updated and sent pictures! I came home to a clean home and two happy dogs!! She was amazing and so sweet! She is very responsive and so sweet! She will be my go to person when I need care for my babies! Thank you so much Jaelyn!!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats all my life, recently I have fostered several puppies until they were old enough for adoption. I have experience with dogs of all size and am used to walking dogs that pull on the leash :) I have stayed in others homes over night and have had dogs in my home while their family was away! I am currently working part time and make the schedule for my company so I can typically work around any schedule, however scheduling a sitting a week prior is preferred. If I am working it is typically 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm. I have a large fenced in backyard and a 6 year old dog who is very friendly and has never had any issues with pups who have come to stay with us in the past! My neighborhood has plenty of walking trails that are shaded for days that are hot.
“We have two 9 year old dogs. Grace house sat and took care of Hunter and Hugo for 6 days. We set up the house with type written notes to ensure she was comfortable in our home. Grace was very communicative and sent pictures every day. We did talk a couple times to ensure she was comfortable and to see if there were any questions outside of our regular texts. Grace washed her bath towels and vacuumed the house so it was nice and clean when we got home. This was not requested. She took it upon herself. This was our first time using Rover and we are extremely pleased. We do look forward to being able to have Grace sit for us again!”

“Jim has become our go to dog sitter! He was so kid to stay an extra half hour when my job ran over! He takes care of meds, ear washes, walks etc! It gives us such a piece of mind to know our pups are in such great hands! His sidekick Porkchop is an added bonus!!”

“Tammy was amazing! She got to know our babies well and kept us well updated the entire time. She went above and beyond as well - asked her to check in a few house things and she did so willingly.”

Your pets will never be left for more than 2 or 3 hours (depending on their individual needs of course!). We have 2 other dogs. A sweet and submissive lab rescue and a smaller cavalier. Tega Cay pet parents share their Rover experiences
Sydney was amazing. We used her for our two girl puppers when we went to London. She gave us multiple daily updates, the girls loved her, and she took great care of our house. It put us at ease knowing she was taking such good care of Lottie and Zuzu. We highly recommend Sydney and plan to book her again the next time we have travel plans.

Dai Yah, was prompt with her response when we urgently needed a last minute same-day booking request in order to go out to an activity and then dinner with family. Paige is awesome, my Huskies love her! She helped me out in a pinch when I needed to go out of town for a funeral. While I was gone we got hit with the ice storm and I couldn't get back, she stayed an extra night with the pups. She is a great person and sitter!
As always Emily was absolutely amazing! Having a senior dog, I’m always very anxious when I have to leave him. Having Emily with him eases all of that and I trust he’s getting the best care and belly scratches! Loved all the pictures and updates. I can tell Rue already misses her!!
Absolutely fantastic. Needed an emergency last minute sit and Alexis was so accommodating. Alexis took amazing care of my 3 difficult puppers, providing great communication the whole time and even making sure some of my dogs idiosyncrasies were normal (they were but so wonderful to have that level of detail in their care).

Alex was amazing!! She was very professional and attentive to instructions, she made two visits to meet and greet and go over things for her stay to house and dog sit. She was so sweet and treated Harley like her own! She sent pics and updates. We Came home to a happy, calm Harley and very clean house. I would use Alex again in a heart beat, I felt very comfortable leaving for vacation and knowing she was caring for our fur baby and home!!

Ava was a tremendous help with my special needs dog. She was super flexible when our trip was delayed and graciously agreed to stay longer. She replied to my messages immediately. Ava loves animals and devotes her life to their care and well-being. She's sweet with a heart of gold and is a responsible problem solver. I'll use her again!
