“We LOVE Rebecca. She sends detailed updates, snuggles our pups, and is so thoughtful. (But we don’t want her to get too popular, so I’ll stop there cause good care is hard to come by!!!)”

“Sasha is absolutely wonderful! My house is constantly hectic with all my animals and she does such a good job with all of them. I wouldn’t use anyone else!”

“Erica did a great job providing play time and attention to our demanding aussies with drop in visits over a two week period while we were traveling. She also did a great job being flexible and working with the schedule of our two daughters who were housesitting. It removed a big worry about our trip.”

“Caitlin was amazing! She sent me updated photos and videos of my Cle-girl everyday while I was on vacation. She was tentative and patient and gave great updates. Would highly recommend her!”

“Katy has been absolutely amazing!!! Our girls don’t do well with us gone, normally eating very little and significantly less active. For the first time in years, they continued the regular routine without us there! THANK YOU!!!!”

“Shannon is very communicative and treated my animals the same way I do. She loved on them and made sure they had all the attention necessary. I will definitely be using Shannon again in the future.”

“Lauren is simply the best! She provides the best updates and treats our kitties like they're her own. This is the second time we've booked with her and will continue to book with her in the future!”

About: I’ve always loved caring for animals and have experience with a wide variety of pets. I currently have a cat, and over the years I’ve cared for cats, a hound dog, two Bernese Mountain Dogs, and a pug. I’ve also had experience caring for lizards and fish, so I’m comfortable with pets of all kinds and their unique needs. I’ve given both dogs and cats medications and always approach animals with a calm, patient, and attentive attitude. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, and I’m happy to take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. I work Monday through Thursday, so weeknight evenings and weekends are when I’m most available. I work Monday through Thursday, so weeknight evenings and weekends are when I’m most available. I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine and make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and care. For daycare and boarding, I can provide a comfortable, relaxed environment where your pet can feel at home. I’m comfortable caring for pets both in their own homes and in mine. When visiting your home, I’ll keep your pet comfortable in their familiar surroundings and follow their usual routine as closely as possible. My home has a small yard and is in a neighborhood with a dog park, plus a larger park nearby for walks and extra exercise. I also have a cat who is very independent and tends to keep to himself. I want every pet in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and welcome, whether they’re staying with me or being cared for in their own home.

“Stephanie is awesome! I was so nervous using this app for the first time and having someone watch my fur babe but she made me feel so comfortable and Julie loved her! ?Stephanie came on thanksgiving morning and we are so thankful! Thank you so much!”
“Lana was so great with our dogs! She was so communicative and caring I didn’t feel any worry on my vacation. She clearly cares for other people’s pets as if they are her own, my pups are very happy :)”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
