About: Hi! My name is Cara Gonzales and I am a huge dog lover! I’ve had dogs my entire life and have great memories taking care of them. I have been sitting and walking dogs here on Rover for almost two years now! I will care for your dog(s) as if they are my own and give them all the love! I am great at following your dogs individual schedule and needs to make sure they have the best stay possible and your mind is at ease knowing they are being well taken care of. I will always send lots of pictures and updates throughout their stay! I just graduated college in Boston and moved back in with my parents here in the Lake Norman area. I am working part time (Tues-Thurs evenings). I have plenty of time to spare during the day! I am a very neat person and leave spaces the way I found them! About: I had fostered dogs for 3 years for the Miami Dade Shelter. I fed, cared for, walked, groomed, and administered medicine to dogs who were in my care for 2 weeks to a month and a half. For one year, I volunteered at an emergency animal clinic and learned a variety of skills that aid me in providing the best care for cats and dogs. I groomed, administered vaccines, tended to wounds, etc. I have extensive experience in caring for dogs and cats, and love to do so as well. I have owned both for years and never had a moment where I did not enjoy it. I will take care of any animal with attention and love, and commit to any task that is needed. I am a pet owner of two dogs; one doberman and one very mixed dog. I give all my time, love, and attention to caring for not just my dogs but every dog I am caring for. I am home daily and make sure that caring for someone else’s pet is my top priority. I typically follow the rules of the owner whether it be in my home or their home. If your pet is not allowed on the furniture then I will not let them on mine. If your pet goes to the bathroom every 3 hours, then I will make sure to take them outside for a walk every 3 hours. I abide by the owners rules for the most effective consistency with behavior, while not forgetting to have fun and make it as enjoyable as I know I can.

About: I’ve always had two or more animals in my home, so caring for pets has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember! I’ve had our oldest dog since 2019, and my youngest dog since 2022, when we brought him home at just 10 weeks old. We also welcomed our cat in 2024 when he was 22 weeks old! I have had 3 dogs myself, and have cared for some animals for several years. I am also working remotely so I have time to care for your animal as much as needed. I work completely remotely, with only a laptop needed. I can housesit or visit up to 5 times a day, whatever is needed. I do not have very many scheduled tasks, and walk/run daily so I can provide exercise and social time for your pets. I try to be as transparent as possible with what I do.
