About: I’ve always had pets growing up, and I’ve always loved dogs! I know how hard it can be to trust someone else with your pup, so I’ll care for them like they’re my own. Over the years, my family has had four dogs, including Labs, Greyhounds, and Labradoodles, and I’ve also cared for friends’ dogs. I have experience with senior dogs, puppies, and everything in between. I’m comfortable administering medication, taking dogs on walks, sticking to feeding schedules, and following any specific instructions or routines your pup needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, lots of playtime, or just wants someone to keep them company, I’ll make sure they’re safe, well cared for, and get plenty of love and attention while we’re together. I can’t wait to meet your pup! I’m a teacher, so right now I’m on my summer schedule! During the week, I babysit from late morning until the afternoon, but I’d love to stop by before or after to let your pups out, take them for a walk, or spend some time with them. Some days I’m not babysitting at all, so if you’re looking for care during the day, feel free to reach out! I’d be happy to let you know if I’m available. My weekends are completely free! During the school year, I’m available in the afternoons, evenings, and on weekends. Caring for pets fits easily into my routine, and I’m excited to meet your pups! Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I’ll take great care of your pup in your home and make sure every instruction you leave is followed to a T. Whether it’s feeding schedules, medications, walks, favorite routines, or anything else that’s important to you, I’ll make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and well cared for. Communication is important to me, so please don’t hesitate to share any instructions, preferences, or information about your pup. I want you to feel confident and at ease while you’re away!

About: Growing up I have had dogs and always been around dogs. I recently had to put my dog down but she was epileptic and needed a lot of love and care so I am use to that as well. I love to see the smiles and tail wiggles! Being self-employed gives me the flexibility to spend lots of quality time with your fur babies, ensuring they receive consistent care, love, and companionship while you're away. I know how important pets are—they're family. I'll make sure they stick to their normal routine, get plenty of attention, and I'll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax while you're away.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats ages 8 weeks to 18 years for the past 10 years, some for up to two weeks at a time. I am happy to take pets on walks and runs (even cats!), work on training skills, stop by for potty breaks and snuggles, read aloud to them, and administer medication if needed. I have experience with pets ranging in size from 2-150lbs and love them all the same — thumping tails and rumbling purrs make my heart sing! I work part-time as a museum assistant and translator, but my heart lies in providing top-quality pet care. My schedule is self-determined, so I can flex to accommodate your pet’s needs! For overnight stays, I like to learn the pet’s existing routine and build my day around it to minimize any transitional stress for the animal. I believe that animals deserve just as much detailed attention as we do — this can look like relaxing brushing/grooming after a long day, regular outings in nature, daily movement (be it walks and/or play), adequate food intake, and comforting cuddles.

About: I’ve had many pet-sitting jobs and personal experience with my own pets. I owned a dog for 12 years and I’ve owned cats all my life. I have cared for both dogs and cats with health issues requiring medication and even IV drips. I’m very versatile! I’m working an internship at the moment that is 20 hours a week, so I will have to work around that schedule as it is fixed weekly! Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays I have off, but we can always discuss any other weekdays to see if I can fit pet care around my meetings! I don’t have space to care for someone’s pet at my own home, but I am very caring and respectful of any person’s home that I enter to care for their pets. I always leave everything better than I left it! Rest assured you won’t come home to any messes left by animal OR human!
“Jianna was great! Very caring, reliable and communicative. She took care of my cat with love and patient. We revived updates and photos at each visit. We will definitely rebook with her!”

“Lisa was incredible with our dog who can be reactive and anxious. We did a meet & greet and all went well. We have just returned from a 4 day trip and we are sure our dog is happier and more content than when we left. It appears that Lisa gave her lots of love, walks and even played pet calming music on our TV. I would highly recommend her to anyone, but especially if you have a dog that can be tempermental. Lisa is nututring and reliable. We will definietly be return customers.”

About: Hi! My name is Svitlana, and I truly love dogs. I have experience caring for my own friendly Labrador, so I'm comfortable with large, energetic dogs as well as smaller breeds. I understand that every dog has a different personality, and I always take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I am reliable, patient, and attentive to details. During every walk, I focus on your dog's safety and well-being. I'll treat your pet like my own and send photo updates after each visit so you always know how they're doing. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I have a flexible schedule and enjoy spending time with dogs. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening walks, including weekends when needed. I always arrive on time and make sure every walk is safe, fun, and tailored to your dog’s needs. Your dog’s safety is my top priority. I always follow your instructions carefully, keep dogs on leash unless you request otherwise in a secure area, provide fresh water after walks, and pay close attention to their comfort and behavior. I’ll send photo updates after every visit so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for.
“Awesome communication and the photos she sent were the highlight of our trip! She really got to know our pets and their routines. She did great walks with our doggy too! If she’s available, book her immediately, you (and your pets) will be super happy!”

“Arrived home Winston looked very well cared for. Thank you Alicia for bringing in the mail. Alicia was excellent leaving reports and pictures everyday she was there! I would highly recommend her to take care of your pet!”

About: I am a lifelong animal lover who has experience with dogs of every stripe! From the gentle giant St. Bernard to the spunky rescue Chihuahua, I've had experience caring for (and loving) dogs of every size, age, & breed. After growing up surrounded by cats & dogs, I adopted my own senior rescue pup, Missy Elliot, about 10 years ago. Missy crossed the rainbow bridge back in April but she created a soft spot in my heart for Senior dogs and I would love nothing more than to spend some time taking your senior on leisurely walks with plenty of time to sniff. At the same time, I would also love taking a younger pup to the park & working with them on how to sit! I am currently between positions and so, starting mid-July, my calendar is wide open. I have a few scattered trips in late August, but otherwise I am free. As the mom of a pup myself, I am very attuned to the specific needs of each dog or cat. I do my best to integrate myself into the pet's best schedule and I stay in consistent communication with you to check in. Plus, I try to send at least two pictures/updates a day so you can be sure your fur baby is in good hands!

We had complicated instructions for our doggies, including medication, and Makenna did everything perfectly. She was always right on time, and our dogs loved her. We hope to use her again! We loved the pictures she sent and the descriptions of what they were doing and how they were behaving.

Lily took great care of my dog! She arrived on time, communicated well throughout the visit, and was very flexible and accommodating when I made a mistake with my booking. I really appreciated her understanding and felt comfortable knowing my dog was in good hands. Overall, I was very happy with the experience and would definitely book with her again!
Renee did another amazing job with our dog Lilly. She can be a handful and Renee knows exactly how to care for her and was even able to give her eye drops which I didn’t think would be possible. She is so caring and loving. It warms my heart to see the love and attention she gives to Lilly while we are away.

Skyler was absolutely wonderful! Her communication was phenomenal from start to finish, which gave me so much peace of mind while we were away. She took such incredible care of Cash and Presley—keeping them active, happy, and clearly so well loved. Her photos were awesome - I really enjoyed seeing our boys have so much fun. We’re so thankful to have found another trusted sitter for our boys and will absolutely be booking with Skyler again. Highly, highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
