“Brendan did two drop in visits for my two dogs and I have nothing but good things to say about our experience. He’s punctual, great communication, and follows all of my annoying instructions. He does well with both my senior dog and my younger anxious dog, leaving us with happy pups when we get home. We are booking him again for our week long vacation in August.”

“Heather is awesome! She really helped us out in a pinch, and was so attentive to our puppy, and provided great photos and notes. We were able to relax during an otherwise very stressful time knowing he was well cared for.”

“Aaliyah has been so amazing with my pup Olive! Olive warmed up to her right away and now we get the cutest pics of their time together from Aaliyah. She even made Olive a cute little bow as a gift. So thankful for how considerate Aaliyah has been!!”

“Our fur baby doesn’t always do well with strangers but with Joseph and Christine he really enjoyed them coming over. They took great care of him and would recommend them to anyone!!”

“Margret was amazing. She was there on time every day. She went above and beyond , cleaning out the cans before throwing them away, rinsing off the dishes, and even set our packages that was delivered unexpectedly in the house. Thank you so much !!!! Will diffiantly be using her again!!!”

“Lana was so great with our dogs! She was so communicative and caring I didn’t feel any worry on my vacation. She clearly cares for other people’s pets as if they are her own, my pups are very happy :)”

About: I have been a dog lover for as long as I can remember and have had dogs for the majority of my life. I started caring for other people’s dogs when I was around 10 or 11 years old and have experience with dogs of all ages—from playful puppies to sweet senior pups. I currently have a two-year-old Boxer of my own who has plenty of energy, so I’m very comfortable keeping up with active dogs who love walks, playtime, and lots of attention! I also understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and individual needs, and I’m happy to tailor my care to help your pup feel comfortable and loved. As a healthcare provider, caring for others comes naturally to me, and I bring that same level of compassion, attentiveness, and responsibility to caring for animals. I also have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate a variety of walking and care needs. I would love the opportunity to care for your sweet fur baby and give them plenty of love and attention while they’re in my care! I currently have a very open and flexible schedule, so I will have plenty of time for walking, playing, and caring for your sweet pup! I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and individual needs, and I’m happy to tailor my care to help your pup feel comfortable and loved. Whether that means specific walking trails, crating your pup if requested, playing with specific toys, etc.
“Awesome communication and the photos she sent were the highlight of our trip! She really got to know our pets and their routines. She did great walks with our doggy too! If she’s available, book her immediately, you (and your pets) will be super happy!”

“Thankfully we found Michaela. Dependable and caring about our needs. Our boy is shy and she followed his lead to make him comfortable. We will be rebooking with her for sure.”
About: Its not rocket science. I love animals and provide a lot of petting and physical love, and physical activity compared to the other pretenders. Grew up in Sweden, army veteran. When dogsitting I have a hobby, I play bridge at city hall in cornelius, so sometimes id be away for as much a 4.5 hrs. I can also not play... I can't have a pet at my place save for a few minutes. All I can say is, I'll play with your dogs more than ladies do!
About: Hi! I’m Kecia, a dedicated dog lover in beautiful Davidson! I’ve been a dog mom for over 15 years, and right now my heart belongs to my sweet mini Goldendoodle, Tilly—she’s my little adventure buddy and the best cuddle companion! I am mostly experienced with smaller dogs but love all four legged fur babies! With all that experience raising and caring for pups like her (energetic zoomies one minute, cozy snuggles the next), I know how important it is for your dog to feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I treat every guest like family. I’m active and outdoorsy, so I adore long, leisurely walks—perfect for exploring local trails around Lake Norman, sniffing adventures, or just enjoying the fresh air. At the same time, I’m a homebody who loves quiet evenings, so your pup gets plenty of relaxed, one-on-one attention in a peaceful environment. I offer: • In-home boarding in my safe, smoke-free house with a fully fenced yard for secure play and potty breaks (Tilly loves zoomies out there too!) • Daily check-ins and drop-in visits to keep things routine and fun • Dog walking—tailored long (or short) strolls to match your dog’s energy Whether your pup needs big adventures or just some cozy companionship, I’d love to spoil them like I do Tilly. Message me to set up a no-pressure Meet & Greet! I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend! 🐶❤️🐾 My work schedule is flexible and I am available for boarding any day of the week! I am also available for early morning or evening walks/check-ins! I have a fenced yard and a friendly, energetic 3 year old mini Goldendoodle at home! I love the unconditional love dogs give and love to cuddle with them!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Cornelius
Makenna was wonderful. She was a good communicator, responsible and punctual. The many pictures she sent reassured us that our doggies were happy and well-cared for. We were gone for a week, and our dogs missed us and we missed them, but Makenna was so great with them -- playing with them and showing lots of affection -- that we all did well.

Lily took great care of my dog! She arrived on time, communicated well throughout the visit, and was very flexible and accommodating when I made a mistake with my booking. I really appreciated her understanding and felt comfortable knowing my dog was in good hands. Overall, I was very happy with the experience and would definitely book with her again!
Renee did another amazing job with our dog Lilly. She can be a handful and Renee knows exactly how to care for her and was even able to give her eye drops which I didn’t think would be possible. She is so caring and loving. It warms my heart to see the love and attention she gives to Lilly while we are away.

A great experience! My dog has limited vision and required several different medications including insulin injections with meals so I was a little nervous about using a dog sitter. Joe and Christine took care of all of it beautifully with daily visits to my home as well as some play and walk time. What peace of mind I now have knowing I can leave my precious dog’s care to them! I will definitely use them again!

Skyler was absolutely wonderful! Her communication was phenomenal from start to finish, which gave me so much peace of mind while we were away. She took such incredible care of Cash and Presley—keeping them active, happy, and clearly so well loved. Her photos were awesome - I really enjoyed seeing our boys have so much fun. We’re so thankful to have found another trusted sitter for our boys and will absolutely be booking with Skyler again. Highly, highly recommend!

Marcia rescued us. We had a last minute need for a dog sitter and Marcia came through! Our pups really liked her. We received pics of our dogs with every visit along with an update on their behavior. We were really relieved to have our babes in such capable hands.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
