About: Whether you’re at work or away for the day, you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in caring, reliable hands. I absolutely love animals and have more than 15 years of experience in animal rescue, puppy fostering, pet sitting, and dog ownership. I’ve cared for pets of all ages and needs, from newborn puppies to senior dogs and pets requiring medication. My mother was a vet tech, and I grew up helping her care for various animals. Today, I care for my own rescue dog with special medical needs, giving me firsthand experience with detailed care routines. I’ll treat your pet like family and send plenty of photos and detailed updates so you know they’re safe and happy! I specialize in weekday visits, typically between 9am and 3pm. I’d love to help make sure your pets are cared for and super happy while you’re away! I carefully follow all instructions, pay close attention to each pet’s unique needs, and provide detailed updates so you know your pet is in good hands.

About: I have been a dog lover for as long as I can remember and have had dogs for the majority of my life. I started caring for other people’s dogs when I was around 10 or 11 years old and have experience with dogs of all ages—from playful puppies to sweet senior pups. I currently have a two-year-old Boxer of my own who has plenty of energy, so I’m very comfortable keeping up with active dogs who love walks, playtime, and lots of attention! I also understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and individual needs, and I’m happy to tailor my care to help your pup feel comfortable and loved. As a healthcare provider, caring for others comes naturally to me, and I bring that same level of compassion, attentiveness, and responsibility to caring for animals. I also have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate a variety of walking and care needs. I would love the opportunity to care for your sweet fur baby and give them plenty of love and attention while they’re in my care! I currently have a very open and flexible schedule, so I will have plenty of time for walking, playing, and caring for your sweet pup! I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and individual needs, and I’m happy to tailor my care to help your pup feel comfortable and loved. Whether that means specific walking trails, crating your pup if requested, playing with specific toys, etc.

About: I have taken care of a wide variety of dog and cat breeds since I was old enough to stay home on my own. Professionally, since I was licensed, I have been pet sitting, walking and doing drop-ins for family, friends and neighbors. I have experience with dogs of several breeds and ages, with specialized care regimens. With cats I have a healthy experience and I still pet sit for a parent who has eleven cats, all with unique personalities and needs, and I live with two of my own. I posses the patience required to care for your pet who may require extra time, attention, and understanding to meet their care needs. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of advanced age who need specialized care such as medication administration, teeth brushing, incontinence assistance and working with hearing loss. Beyond older pets, I am familiar with dogs who may be unpredictable with others and have experience with redirection, avoidance and communicating to others to not approach. Finally, I have experience with anxious pets that require reassurance, quality time and play to be fulfilled by their sitter. I am currently not working outside of pet-sitting and have the time and drive to provide the level of care your pet deserves. My own cats are on a specific feeding schedule and do require my being home to feed them around 2pm every day. I aim to take all considerations into account to provide for you and your pet family. Clear communication and understanding expectations is how I may best serve your furry friends. I like to follow instruction to the letter and keep safety of all parties a priority. In this area of work my approach is to not guess if I do not know, better to always ask for clarity when uncertain and look for the same in clients.

About: 💖 Affordable, Loving Pet Care You Can Trust 💖 ✨ Affordable & Flexible Pricing! ✨ I believe every pet deserves amazing care, no matter the budget. My prices are adjustable, and I’m always happy to work with you whenever possible. If you’re looking for a lower rate or have a specific budget in mind, please don’t hesitate to text or email me! My contact information is listed in my photos, and I’d be happy to discuss pricing and availability with you. Hi! My name is Lindsay, and I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since 2017. Animals have always been one of the biggest parts of my life, and nothing makes me happier than making sure they’re safe, loved, and comfortable while their families are away. While I welcome pets of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, I especially specialize in caring for energetic puppies, senior dogs, kittens, and cats that require medications or extra attention. 🐶 Energetic puppies receive plenty of walks, playtime, potty breaks, enrichment, exercise, and one-on-one attention to help keep them happy and on their routine. 🐕 Senior dogs receive patient, gentle care with slower walks, extra comfort, medication reminders if needed, and lots of love and companionship. 🐱 I also love caring for kittens and cats of all ages, including shy cats, senior cats, and cats that require oral medications or specialized care. I understand that every cat has a different personality, and I’m happy to provide anything from active playtime to quiet companionship. Over the years, I’ve provided pet sitting, overnight stays, dog walking, boarding, house sitting, and drop-in visits for family, friends, neighbors, and clients. I’ve cared for pets ranging from tiny kittens and playful puppies to senior pets needing specialized care, anxious pets, rescue animals, and multi-pet households. I’m comfortable with: 🐾 Energetic puppies and young dogs 🐾 Senior dogs needing extra patience and gentle care 🐾 Kittens and cats of all ages 🐾 Oral medication administration for cats and dogs 🐾 Overnight pet and house sitting 🐾 Dog walking and exercise 🐾 Drop-in visits 🐾 Boarding (when available) 🐾 Feeding schedules and fresh water 🐾 Caring for multiple pets in one household Every pet is different, so I always take time to learn their routine, personality, favorite activities, feeding schedule, and any special instructions. My goal is to keep life as normal and stress-free as possible while you’re away. One thing my clients appreciate is that I send frequent photo and video updates, so you’ll always know how your pets are doing. I know how hard it can be to leave them behind, and I want you to have complete peace of mind knowing they’re receiving the same love, attention, and care I’d give my own pets. 🏡 24/7 Availability & 24-Hour Care I’m available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, making it easy to accommodate early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and last-minute bookings whenever possible. I also provide 24-hour care for pets that need constant companionship or supervision. This is especially helpful for: * Puppies who need frequent potty breaks and lots of playtime * Senior dogs who benefit from extra monitoring and comfort * Cats requiring medication or specialized routines * Pets with separation anxiety * Any pet that simply does better with someone nearby throughout the day and night I provide attentive, personalized care based on each pet’s unique needs. Dogs receive regular walks, exercise, potty breaks, playtime, fresh water, feeding according to schedule, and lots of affection. Cats receive clean litter boxes, fresh food and water, medication if needed, playtime, enrichment, or quiet companionship—whatever makes them feel most comfortable. If I’m caring for your pets in your home, I’ll treat your home with the same respect I’d treat my own. I’m happy to bring in mail or packages, water plants, follow household routines, and help keep everything secure while you’re away. Above all, I pride myself on being dependable, trustworthy, patient, and genuinely passionate about caring for animals. My goal is to build lasting relationships with both pets and their owners so you always have someone you can rely on. 📩 Questions? Need Different Availability or Pricing? If you don’t see the availability you need on my Rover calendar, or if you’re hoping for a lower rate, please text or email me! My contact information is listed in my photos. I often have additional availability beyond what’s shown on Rover, and I’m always happy to discuss flexible scheduling and pricing whenever possible. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members! 🩷 Pet care is more than just a job to me—it’s something I’m genuinely passionate about and dedicate my time to every day. I’m available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, allowing me to be flexible around each pet’s individual routine and needs. Whether your pet needs daytime companionship, overnight care, frequent potty breaks, walks, medication, or regular check-ins throughout the day, I’m committed to providing dependable, attentive care. I truly love spending time with animals, and I make it my priority to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and as stress-free as possible while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family and strive to keep their daily routine as normal and consistent as possible, giving owners complete peace of mind knowing their pets are receiving around-the-clock love, attention, and personalized care. I provide attentive, personalized care based on each pet’s routine and needs. For dogs, this includes regular walks, potty breaks, playtime, exercise, feeding according to their schedule, fresh water at all times, and plenty of affection and companionship. For cats, I ensure feeding schedules are maintained, litter boxes are kept clean, and they receive the attention, playtime, or quiet companionship they prefer. I am comfortable administering basic medications as directed by owners and carefully monitoring pets for any changes in behavior, appetite, or overall well-being. I also help maintain a clean environment by cleaning up accidents, washing food and water bowls, scooping litter boxes, and keeping pet areas tidy. If caring for pets in your home, I treat your space with the utmost respect. I can bring in mail or packages, water plants, follow household routines, and help keep your home secure while you’re away. About: Hi! I’m Olivia and I’m excited to pet sit for you. I’ve been a part time pet sitter for 6 years taking care of cats and dogs (of all sizes). I have experience in pet sitting for young puppies & kittens as well as older more medically complex pets. I am more than comfortable giving medication to pets and allergy shots. Although my pet sitting experience has been focused only 6 years. Prior to this I fostered countless kittens and puppies with the humane society of Charlotte ensuring I met all of their socialization needs for their future home! I have two kitties of my own, Winifred and Beatrice who have brought me so much joy and I’m excited to love on your pet as I do my own! I currently work 7 to 4 in office most days but am available morning, lunch times and the evenings. I love to fill my time taking care of animals! I love to make sure all animals feel comfortable with me. I never approach without letting them sniff me and make sure to always give space when needed. I am always gentle and quiet around more shy animals until I gain their trust.

About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life! I grew up with 2 labs and then later on adopted 2 beautiful huskies. Over time I have learned that every dog has a unique personality, energy level, and routine, so I take the time to get to know each one and provide care that's tailored to their needs. I'm comfortable with administering oral medications when needed, maintaining feeding and exercise schedules, and providing plenty of love! I also keep pet parents informed with regular updates, photos, and messages so they can feel confident their dog is happy and safe while they're away. I currently work part time for a coffee shop. I mainly work afternoons so I’ll be able to visit your babies once to twice in the morning/ early afternoon and then again in the evening when I get off! I currently live in an apartment with a small dog and a cat. We keep doors locked/ closed to prevent the cat from slipping out. I take out my small dog regularly for potty breaks and walks around the neighborhood. We use our dog park to let our dog interact with others. They both get lots of interaction and have so so many toys!

About: I am a lifelong animal lover who has experience with dogs of every stripe! From the gentle giant St. Bernard to the spunky rescue Chihuahua, I've had experience caring for (and loving) dogs of every size, age, & breed. After growing up surrounded by cats & dogs, I adopted my own senior rescue pup, Missy Elliot, about 10 years ago. Missy crossed the rainbow bridge back in April but she created a soft spot in my heart for Senior dogs and I would love nothing more than to spend some time taking your senior on leisurely walks with plenty of time to sniff. At the same time, I would also love taking a younger pup to the park & working with them on how to sit! I am currently between positions and so, starting mid-July, my calendar is wide open. I have a few scattered trips in late August, but otherwise I am free. As the mom of a pup myself, I am very attuned to the specific needs of each dog or cat. I do my best to integrate myself into the pet's best schedule and I stay in consistent communication with you to check in. Plus, I try to send at least two pictures/updates a day so you can be sure your fur baby is in good hands!

  • 95% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
