About: Looking for someone who will treat your pets like family? With 15+ years of experience in animal rescue, puppy fostering, pet sitting, and dog ownership, I’ve cared for pets of all ages and needs, including newborn puppies, senior dogs, and pets requiring medication. My mother was a vet tech, and I grew up helping her care for animals. Today, I continue that commitment with my own dog, who has special medical needs, giving me firsthand experience with medication administration and detailed care routines. When you’re away, I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own, providing dependable care, plenty of attention, and regular updates so you have peace of mind knowing they’re safe and happy. I offer weekday drop-in visits, typically between 9am and 3pm. Whether you’re at work or simply need an extra helping hand throughout the day, I’m here to make sure your pets feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I carefully follow all instructions, pay close attention to each pet’s unique needs, and provide updates and photos to give you peace of mind.
“I highly recommend Hannah! She took our dog Leo on a walk and was extremely responsive throughout the entire booking process. She very respectful of our home and easy to communicate with.”

“Katelyn took exceptional care of our senior pup,Koda. She was prompt with each walk. Katelyn made sure he was settled in before she left our home. She is #1 in our book. We couldn’t be more pleased with how she took great care of Koda. Thank you and we look forward to asking Katelyn to help us with future services.”

About: I’ve always had pets growing up, and I’ve always loved dogs! I know how hard it can be to trust someone else with your pup, so I’ll care for them like they’re my own. Over the years, my family has had four dogs, including Labs, Greyhounds, and Labradoodles, and I’ve also cared for friends’ dogs. I have experience with senior dogs, puppies, and everything in between. I’m comfortable administering medication, taking dogs on walks, sticking to feeding schedules, and following any specific instructions or routines your pup needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, lots of playtime, or just wants someone to keep them company, I’ll make sure they’re safe, well cared for, and get plenty of love and attention while we’re together. I can’t wait to meet your pup! I’m a teacher, so right now I’m on my summer schedule! During the week, I babysit from late morning until the afternoon, but I’d love to stop by before or after to let your pups out, take them for a walk, or spend some time with them. Some days I’m not babysitting at all, so if you’re looking for care during the day, feel free to reach out! I’d be happy to let you know if I’m available. My weekends are completely free! During the school year, I’m available in the afternoons, evenings, and on weekends. Caring for pets fits easily into my routine, and I’m excited to meet your pups! Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I’ll take great care of your pup in your home and make sure every instruction you leave is followed to a T. Whether it’s feeding schedules, medications, walks, favorite routines, or anything else that’s important to you, I’ll make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and well cared for. Communication is important to me, so please don’t hesitate to share any instructions, preferences, or information about your pup. I want you to feel confident and at ease while you’re away!

About: I’ve cared for many dogs/pets over the past seven years. I have a pup of my own, and understand the importance of trusting who is watching your fur friends. My work schedule has many gaps throughout the day where I am home, making flexibility easily attainable. This ensures I can give adequate attention to your pet. Due to not having a fenced in yard I take my pup for numerous walks throughout the day. Exercise is a definite priority for Maverick.

About: Hi! I'm a dependable animal lover with a very flexible schedule and a soft spot for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I know leaving your pet with someone new can be stressful, so I do my best to make the experience easy for both you and your pup. Expect lots of love, attention, photo updates, and a sitter who will care for your pet like family. I can't wait to meet your furry best friend! My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to be available for a variety of pet care needs throughout the week. I love spending time with animals and am happy to work with your pet's routine to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you're away. I understand that pets feel most comfortable in their familiar environment, so I focus on maintaining their normal routine while you're away. I'll carefully follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, exercise needs, and any special requests. My goal is to help your pet feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while giving you peace of mind through regular updates and photos.
“Joseph and Christine did a great job! They made sure both of my babies got treats, play time and a good walk in! I appreciate them taking care of them while I was at work.”

About: I am an animal/pet lover and always have been. I have experience as a neighborhood walker in south Florida and loved it. Satisfaction is guaranteed. I am currently studying online for IT and am looking for taking care of your pups/pets no matter what. I look forward to meeting them. I have a fenced in back yard and extra crates if needed. Personally our dog free roams and out cats have their room if needed.
“Karley is great! She is punctual and very caring towards our dogs.m. She is one of those people that make you feel comfortable. The dogs and I like her. We know our animals are in good hands with her. We highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve had many pet-sitting jobs and personal experience with my own pets. I owned a dog for 12 years and I’ve owned cats all my life. I have cared for both dogs and cats with health issues requiring medication and even IV drips. I’m very versatile! I’m working an internship at the moment that is 20 hours a week, so I will have to work around that schedule as it is fixed weekly! Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays I have off, but we can always discuss any other weekdays to see if I can fit pet care around my meetings! I don’t have space to care for someone’s pet at my own home, but I am very caring and respectful of any person’s home that I enter to care for their pets. I always leave everything better than I left it! Rest assured you won’t come home to any messes left by animal OR human!

Bri and Q were absolutely wonderful! They were so attentive with our boy and cared for him as if he were their own. They even met with us beforehand to make sure we felt completely comfortable. Both were incredibly kind and accommodating, and I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
