I believe understanding why an animal is behaving a certain way is an important part of providing good care. I’m patient with shy, nervous, anxious, energetic, senior, and rescue animals and always allow them to adjust at their own pace. A Note About Meet & Greets and Overnight Stays: For safety reasons, my fiancé, Bradley, normally accompanies me to my meet & greets and stays with me for every overnight pet-sitting booking. This is an important part of my personal safety policy when I’m staying in a client’s home while they’re away. I want to be completely transparent about this upfront so every family knows who may be present in their home. Bradley is my fiancé and safety companion, while I remain the primary person responsible for your pets and their care. I’m always happy to discuss this with you before booking and make sure everyone is comfortable with the arrangement. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow their established routines and respect their space and belongings. I’m also happy to follow household instructions, bring in mail or packages, water plants, and help keep the home secure while you’re away. I send regular photo and video updates so you can see how your pets are doing and feel confident that they’re receiving the care and attention they deserve. The German Shepherd in my photos is Rocky, my ultimate comeback kid whom I rescued from a cruelty case. Losing him from health condition broke my heart, and while I’m taking some time before adopting or fostering again, my heart is still leading me to care for animals. My approach combines the best of a boutique hotel and a personal assistant: tailored daily routines, undivided attention, and thoughtful extra touches. Because why not? For boarding, I accept only one client at a time so your pet receives complete focus. Before any stay, we will do a meet-and-greet to set up a personalized profile covering meals, sleeping habits, favorite activities, and handling preferences. Shy or nervous pets are always welcome to enjoy a short familiarization visit beforehand so they feel completely at ease. When you drop off, we will get your pet settled in with fresh water, cozy bedding, an approved treat or toy, and their own dedicated cubby for supplies. Daily stays follow their exact routine for meals, walks, enrichment, and rest. I also offer a few special extras, like a little treat minibar or afternoon tea with an approved snack and extra company. Evening turndown includes a final toilet break, refreshed water, and a quiet bedtime setup. My schedule is intentionally flexible, which gives me plenty of time to make pet care a real part of my day rather than something I’m squeezing in between other commitments.
