“Katelyn took exceptional care of our senior pup,Koda. She was prompt with each walk. Katelyn made sure he was settled in before she left our home. She is #1 in our book. We couldn’t be more pleased with how she took great care of Koda. Thank you and we look forward to asking Katelyn to help us with future services.”

About: I have taken care of a wide variety of dog and cat breeds since I was old enough to stay home on my own. Professionally, since I was licensed, I have been pet sitting, walking and doing drop-ins for family, friends and neighbors. I have experience with dogs of several breeds and ages, with specialized care regimens. With cats I have a healthy experience and I still pet sit for a parent who has eleven cats, all with unique personalities and needs, and I live with two of my own. I posses the patience required to care for your pet who may require extra time, attention, and understanding to meet their care needs. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of advanced age who need specialized care such as medication administration, teeth brushing, incontinence assistance and working with hearing loss. Beyond older pets, I am familiar with dogs who may be unpredictable with others and have experience with redirection, avoidance and communicating to others to not approach. Finally, I have experience with anxious pets that require reassurance, quality time and play to be fulfilled by their sitter. I am currently not working outside of pet-sitting and have the time and drive to provide the level of care your pet deserves. My own cats are on a specific feeding schedule and do require my being home to feed them around 2pm every day. I aim to take all considerations into account to provide for you and your pet family. Clear communication and understanding expectations is how I may best serve your furry friends. I like to follow instruction to the letter and keep safety of all parties a priority. In this area of work my approach is to not guess if I do not know, better to always ask for clarity when uncertain and look for the same in clients.
About: Hi! I’m Olivia and I’m excited to pet sit for you. I’ve been a part time pet sitter for 6 years taking care of cats and dogs (of all sizes). I have experience in pet sitting for young puppies & kittens as well as older more medically complex pets. I am more than comfortable giving medication to pets and allergy shots. Although my pet sitting experience has been focused only 6 years. Prior to this I fostered countless kittens and puppies with the humane society of Charlotte ensuring I met all of their socialization needs for their future home! I have two kitties of my own, Winifred and Beatrice who have brought me so much joy and I’m excited to love on your pet as I do my own! I currently work 7 to 4 in office most days but am available morning, lunch times and the evenings. I love to fill my time taking care of animals! I love to make sure all animals feel comfortable with me. I never approach without letting them sniff me and make sure to always give space when needed. I am always gentle and quiet around more shy animals until I gain their trust.
“Charlie was super nice and communicated great! My pup got along with him well and seemed to enjoy her times He was able to handle and deal with my overcomplicated instructions too. Would definitely recommend!”

My fiancé is home alone with our fur babies while I am out of town..I am sure you can imagine the state of the house and how well he planned for walks ;) Stephanie stepped in this afternoon with little to no notice and helped walk Milo and give our sweet Julie water! She is super responsive and very reliable! Thank you Stephanie!!!”

I also love to walk daily and would love to have dogs to walk with me. I am self employed and work from home. I have a very flexible schedule as well as plenty of time to care for others pets. About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life! I grew up with 2 labs and then later on adopted 2 beautiful huskies. Over time I have learned that every dog has a unique personality, energy level, and routine, so I take the time to get to know each one and provide care that's tailored to their needs. I'm comfortable with administering oral medications when needed, maintaining feeding and exercise schedules, and providing plenty of love! I also keep pet parents informed with regular updates, photos, and messages so they can feel confident their dog is happy and safe while they're away. I currently work part time for a coffee shop. I mainly work afternoons so I’ll be able to visit your babies once to twice in the morning/ early afternoon and then again in the evening when I get off! I currently live in an apartment with a small dog and a cat. We keep doors locked/ closed to prevent the cat from slipping out. I take out my small dog regularly for potty breaks and walks around the neighborhood. We use our dog park to let our dog interact with others. They both get lots of interaction and have so so many toys!
About: I've taken care of dogs and cats my whole life - playing, feeding, and cuddling! I love playing with my family's puppy and taking her for walks, and I work with her daily on sit, stay, and heel commands. I also have walked, fed, and done house visits for the dogs and cats of aunts, cousins, and neighbors. I love doggies big or small, young or old, energetic and playful or calm and cuddly, and I would love to meet yours. During these summer months, I am home from college and taking an online class, so I have lots of flexibility to visit and care for your furry friends. I am available weekdays anytime between early mornings and late afternoons, with the exception of Thursday mornings. I am usually available on Saturdays as well, and I will be in town for Fourth of July to visit your pets if you're traveling. My love for dogs and cats extends to my careful treatment of them. Since I grew up with pets and have done petsitting before, I have gained familiarity with how dogs and cats express their emotions and how to identify potentially harmful behaviors (for example, keeping your doggy away from raisins). I want your dog to have fun on their walk, your cat to get some well-deserved attention, and all of your pets to be safe and feel loved during my visit.
About: Hi! My name is Svitlana, and I truly love dogs. I have experience caring for my own friendly Labrador, so I'm comfortable with large, energetic dogs as well as smaller breeds. I understand that every dog has a different personality, and I always take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I am reliable, patient, and attentive to details. During every walk, I focus on your dog's safety and well-being. I'll treat your pet like my own and send photo updates after each visit so you always know how they're doing. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I have a flexible schedule and enjoy spending time with dogs. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening walks, including weekends when needed. I always arrive on time and make sure every walk is safe, fun, and tailored to your dog’s needs. Your dog’s safety is my top priority. I always follow your instructions carefully, keep dogs on leash unless you request otherwise in a secure area, provide fresh water after walks, and pay close attention to their comfort and behavior. I’ll send photo updates after every visit so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for.

We love Stephanie! She has been walking my dog 2x per week for the last few months and will continue to do so! She has great communication and is great with Zara. I appreciate the update texts and report cards and is able to work with a last minute change in schedule.

Kristena is this patient, flexible and knowledgeable. She has the same breed of dog that I have and she’s giving me great insight on bear. When Bear returns home from the walk, he is so tired that all he can do is lay on the floor, which I appreciate very much. Since our chronic migraines and other health issues, I really appreciate all that Kristena how interacts with Bear.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
