About: Growing up in a pet-loving family, I have spent my life caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. I have personally owned and raised two cats and two dogs, giving me hands-on experience with canines from their energetic puppy stages all the way through their senior years. In addition to standard dog and cat care (feeding, bathing, and exercising), I am highly comfortable with exotic pets. My background includes handling and caring for birds, lizards, fish, and snakes. Whether your pet is furry, feathered, or scaled, I treat them like my own family As a college student home for the summer, my schedule is highly flexible. I can provide frequent potty breaks and constant attention. Making sure your furry friend has everything they need I treat all pets as if they are my own, and I am happy to accommodate any special needs your pet has while they are in my care

About: Hi! I'm Bridget. I'm new to Rover and recently moved to Davidson, but I've spent years caring for dogs and understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets. As a dog mom to two pups with very different personalities and needs, I'm comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply wants companionship and cuddles, I'll make sure they receive personalized care and attention. I know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so I prioritize communication and will keep you updated with photos and messages while you're away. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving you peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! 🐾💕 Since I recently moved to Davidson and work part time from home much, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable care throughout the day. I enjoy getting outside for walks and spending time with animals, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or some extra attention while you're away, I'm happy to work with your schedule and their needs. 🐾 I believe every pet is happiest when their normal routine is maintained, so I take the time to learn each pet's preferences, schedule, and any special instructions. In a client's home, I'll follow your care instructions closely, ensure your pet has plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, and keep your home clean and secure while you're away. Safety is always my top priority. I'll use secure leashes and harnesses during walks, monitor pets closely, and make sure they have access to fresh water, a comfortable environment, and any medications or special care they require. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for.
“I highly recommend Hannah! She took our dog Leo on a walk and was extremely responsive throughout the entire booking process. She very respectful of our home and easy to communicate with.”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats my whole life - playing, feeding, and cuddling! I love playing with my family's puppy and taking her for walks, and I work with her daily on sit, stay, and heel commands. I also have walked, fed, and done house visits for the dogs and cats of aunts, cousins, and neighbors. I love doggies big or small, young or old, energetic and playful or calm and cuddly, and I would love to meet yours. During these summer months, I am home from college and taking an online class, so I have lots of flexibility to visit and care for your furry friends. I am available weekdays anytime between early mornings and late afternoons, with the exception of Thursday mornings. I am usually available on Saturdays as well, and I will be in town for Fourth of July to visit your pets if you're traveling. My love for dogs and cats extends to my careful treatment of them. Since I grew up with pets and have done petsitting before, I have gained familiarity with how dogs and cats express their emotions and how to identify potentially harmful behaviors (for example, keeping your doggy away from raisins). I want your dog to have fun on their walk, your cat to get some well-deserved attention, and all of your pets to be safe and feel loved during my visit.

“We love Stephanie! She has been walking my dog 2x per week for the last few months and will continue to do so! She has great communication and is great with Zara. I appreciate the update texts and report cards and is able to work with a last minute change in schedule.”

“Lily was wonderful and dependable. And just as important, she was really great with our dog who is anxious about new people and doesn't like other dogs. She has lots of experience with different dog personalities and it shows.”

About: Hi! I'm a dependable animal lover with a very flexible schedule and a soft spot for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I know leaving your pet with someone new can be stressful, so I do my best to make the experience easy for both you and your pup. Expect lots of love, attention, photo updates, and a sitter who will care for your pet like family. I can't wait to meet your furry best friend! My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to be available for a variety of pet care needs throughout the week. I love spending time with animals and am happy to work with your pet's routine to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you're away. I understand that pets feel most comfortable in their familiar environment, so I focus on maintaining their normal routine while you're away. I'll carefully follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, exercise needs, and any special requests. My goal is to help your pet feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while giving you peace of mind through regular updates and photos.
About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my commitment to providing dependable, responsible, and trustworthy care. I have a genuine love and respect for animals so you can trust that your pets will be treated with the same care and attention I would give my own, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I work from home full-time most days of the week so my flexibility allows me to be attentive to your pets and provide timely care. However, I typically spend 4-6 days in the office per month. I am able to plan these days around my schedule so you will know in advance when I am not available. I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment for every pet in my care. Whether in my home or a client’s, I believe it is important to follow each pet’s routine closely as well as providing plenty of attention, exercise, and enrichment. I avoid unnecessary risks, and respect any special instructions for care. Trust is key, so I keep pet parents updated with regular check-ins and photos, giving them peace of mind while they're away.
“Braxton always takes amazing care of my boys and she has always been more than helpful (specially with my last minute schedule changes). My dogs absolutely love her!”

About: I grew up with animals all my life. Both cats and dogs. As an adult, I’ve had two dogs whom I have loved and cared for. I have one now who is 9 named Petunia who I’ve had since she was 8 weeks old. She’s my world. I also frequently watch my mom’s Goldendoodle, Folly, who is almost 1 year now. I help friends and families with their animals but have decided to expand and would love to help with your animals! I work from home and have a flexible schedule to where I can check on your animals whenever. I’m only available for drop in visits but can do this 1-4x a day (depending on location) and can sit with your animals so they have company as well because I do this for my friend’s animals when they travel for NASCAR races on the weekend and are gone all day Sunday. I feel guilty leaving my pup so am happy to provide company for your fur babies! I am a licensed teacher and work in Ed Tech now. I am very trustworthy and responsible. I am to meet beforehand as I fully understand any reservations as that’s how I am with finding people to watch my dog when I am needing it.
“Joseph and Christine did a great job! They made sure both of my babies got treats, play time and a good walk in! I appreciate them taking care of them while I was at work.”

“10/10 Recommend Mary. She sent us lots of pics, and I know our 2 big boys were well cared for while we were gone. This was our first time using Rover, so we were nervous but as soon as we met Mary we knew our pups would be just fine in her care. Highly recommend, and will be using her again! Thank you Mary!!”

About: Hello! I have been certified in animal heath care from Saddleback College in Orange County, CA. I worked as a vet assistant an animal clinic in my early 20's. I have also been a previous dog walker on Rover but wasn't able to reactivate my account with my old reviews. On weekends I volunteer with SAR K9 search and rescue. I have two goofy dogs myself that I adore and my full time career is one that would give you peace of mind that I am trustworthy as a person and professional. (Inquire if you want to know more!) I've been happily married for 15 years and have a 11 year old daughter. I've called Lake Norman my home for the last 10+ years! I have a very flexible schedule after I drop my daughter off at school in the morning (after 9:00am.) Much of my work is remote so this will fit into my schedule easily! I am comfortable caring for your dog according to your preferences! You let me know what they're like and what they do best with and I'll accomodate!
“My Bailee is often shy around new people, but she was immediately comfortable with Yelena.Yelena has a calm, reassuring energy. She is patient and you can clearly see how much she loves for the animals she cares for. I’d recommend Yelena for any of your pet sitting needs.”

About: I have taken care of dogs, my own, friends, and neighbors since I was old enough to. I am reliable and care for all dogs. I am available most days as I do not have a job this summer. I typically wake up around 9 and stay up late so can come later at night as well. I spend time with the dogs, make sure they have food and/or water, and perform any other tasks they may need. Being trustworthy in your home is highly important to me.
