About: Whether you’re at work or away for the day, you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in caring, reliable hands. I absolutely love animals and have more than 15 years of experience in animal rescue, puppy fostering, pet sitting, and dog ownership. I’ve cared for pets of all ages and needs, from newborn puppies to senior dogs and pets requiring medication. My mother was a vet tech, and I grew up helping her care for various animals. Today, I care for my own rescue dog with special medical needs, giving me firsthand experience with detailed care routines. I’ll treat your pet like family and send plenty of photos and detailed updates so you know they’re safe and happy! I specialize in weekday visits, typically between 9am and 3pm. I’d love to help make sure your pets are cared for and super happy while you’re away! I carefully follow all instructions, pay close attention to each pet’s unique needs, and provide detailed updates so you know your pet is in good hands.

About: Growing up I have had dogs and always been around dogs. I recently had to put my dog down but she was epileptic and needed a lot of love and care so I am use to that as well. I love to see the smiles and tail wiggles! Being self-employed gives me the flexibility to spend lots of quality time with your fur babies, ensuring they receive consistent care, love, and companionship while you're away. I know how important pets are—they're family. I'll make sure they stick to their normal routine, get plenty of attention, and I'll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax while you're away.
“Marcia was so sweet to the kitties. My boy cats are very shy and both of them were out visiting with her on the very first visit. She followed all of my directions and made sure to spend time with them so they know they are being looked after. Will definitely ask for her service again. Thank you!”

“Lisa was incredible with our dog who can be reactive and anxious. We did a meet & greet and all went well. We have just returned from a 4 day trip and we are sure our dog is happier and more content than when we left. It appears that Lisa gave her lots of love, walks and even played pet calming music on our TV. I would highly recommend her to anyone, but especially if you have a dog that can be tempermental. Lisa is nututring and reliable. We will definietly be return customers.”

About: I am a lifelong animal lover who has experience with dogs of every stripe! From the gentle giant St. Bernard to the spunky rescue Chihuahua, I've had experience caring for (and loving) dogs of every size, age, & breed. After growing up surrounded by cats & dogs, I adopted my own senior rescue pup, Missy Elliot, about 10 years ago. Missy crossed the rainbow bridge back in April but she created a soft spot in my heart for Senior dogs and I would love nothing more than to spend some time taking your senior on leisurely walks with plenty of time to sniff. At the same time, I would also love taking a younger pup to the park & working with them on how to sit! I am currently between positions and so, starting mid-July, my calendar is wide open. I have a few scattered trips in late August, but otherwise I am free. As the mom of a pup myself, I am very attuned to the specific needs of each dog or cat. I do my best to integrate myself into the pet's best schedule and I stay in consistent communication with you to check in. Plus, I try to send at least two pictures/updates a day so you can be sure your fur baby is in good hands!
About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life! I grew up with 2 labs and then later on adopted 2 beautiful huskies. Over time I have learned that every dog has a unique personality, energy level, and routine, so I take the time to get to know each one and provide care that's tailored to their needs. I'm comfortable with administering oral medications when needed, maintaining feeding and exercise schedules, and providing plenty of love! I also keep pet parents informed with regular updates, photos, and messages so they can feel confident their dog is happy and safe while they're away. I currently work part time for a coffee shop. I mainly work afternoons so I’ll be able to visit your babies once to twice in the morning/ early afternoon and then again in the evening when I get off! I currently live in an apartment with a small dog and a cat. We keep doors locked/ closed to prevent the cat from slipping out. I take out my small dog regularly for potty breaks and walks around the neighborhood. We use our dog park to let our dog interact with others. They both get lots of interaction and have so so many toys!
About: I’m a brand new sitter on the Rover app and I’m excited to be here! I have a lifetime of hands-on experience with animals of all sizes and personalities. Growing up, I was always the go-to pet sitter for friends and neighbors, and I spent years volunteering at animal shelters. For the past 10 years, my home has been a bustling, happy multi-pet household with four rescue fur babies of my own: two cats and two large dogs (a Doberman and a Greyhound). I no longer have animals in my house and I’d love to transition my love for animals to your household. Your babies will be loved, protected, and cared for with the exact same utmost attention I gave my own. I am familiar with caring for dogs who struggle with anxiety and aggression, having managed these traits with my own sweet Dobie. I work remotely Monday-Friday with open weekends. My daily work schedule is very flexible for drop-ins and walks at any time of the day. I also have a car, so I can get to you easily without issues! My top priority when caring for your pets in their own home is maintaining the safety, structure, and daily routines they depend on. I know that welcoming a new sitter requires a high level of trust, which is why I approach every visit with absolute respect and professionalism. I am highly organized, follow all care instructions exactly as written, and will make sure your pets are showered with the attention and affection they deserve.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Cornelius
Makenna helped us with last minute drop in visits for our cat while we were away for the weekend. She took great care of our cat for us and made sure to send daily updates with pictures. We returned home to a happy and healthy cat. We highly recommend her services.

Marcia is simply the best—there’s a reason we keep coming back to her again and again. Finding someone you trust with your pets (and your home) is no small thing, and with Marcia, that trust comes easily. She is reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring, and it shows in every interaction.

Jessica is great. I have two cats and one of them is very shy and the other one is outgoing. They both loved her and I loved that in one of Jessica’s pictures. She actually got a picture of my shy cat rubbing up against her.😻 my cats are very good at judging good people

Sherry took care of our little kitty INCREDIBLY! Our kitty was struggling with a sickness and needed some additional support with wiping her nose and Sherry was more than happy to take care of her needs and she gave us consistent updates on our kitty’s symptoms while we were away. We couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter 😊

I met Michelle before she started watching my girls and I was sure we would get along. She loves animals and it shows immediately. She was great at letting me know how the cats were doing every visit and I loved the pics. Jill is a bit more shy but when she finally came out to meet who was feeding her it was all over for me. Jillie talking to me on a video sold me on Michele forever. I’ll be using her again. Thank you so much

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
