“Chad did an amazing job with Samson! It's been really hard finding a suitable person for Samson as he can be very shy and hard to interact with because of this, but I'm so glad we found Chad on Rover. We will definitely use his services in the future!”

“I'm new to the area and this was my first time using Rover.com to find a new pet sitter for my fur and feathered babies. Cheryl was wonderful. My cats are up in age and one of them takes several medications. I was worried that he might not take them for her. But Cheryl was great and spent every time with him and my other babies letting them get to know her. She sent messages and photos that really help me relax while I was away. I would definitely ask Cheryl to sit for my babies the next time.”
“Britt was amazing and followed quite complicated instructions to the letter! We have a diabetic cat who needs their glucose measured and insulin administered and Britt was calm and collected throughout the whole process. We will definitely be booking with Britt again!”

“Ann was amazing! She took great care of our pets and made sure they were happy. She took bumps in the road in stride and we can’t thank her enough for the great care she took of our beloved pets!”

“Thank you. Genevieve was exactly what we needed for an unexpected trip due to a death in our family. We have never left our dogs with anyone other than family and Genevieve made us feel comfortable from our first meeting. She communicated very well and we can tell both our big dogs were more than well cared for in our absence. Thank you”

“If you want a reliable, conscientious, individual who really cares for your pet/pets and in the surrounding towns then I would highly recommend Kim for your pet sitting needs”

“I’ve only used Rover a few times, but whenever I do, I always book Caitlin. I was lucky to find her the very first time I tried the app. We have two rescue dogs, and one of them can be pretty anxious and temperamental. Caitlin is incredibly patient with our pups when we travel, and it gives me so much peace of mind knowing they’re in her care. Our dogs don’t warm up to many people, but they absolutely adore her. Highly recommend!”

“Liz was perfect! I needed someone on short notice and she came through for stopping by to feed my cat while I was out of town for a few days. She even returned for an additional night when I was running late. Nothing but good things to say about Liz!”

“Cassidy was wonderful she took great care of our Lola! This was our first time using Rover and she made it very easy. She communicated everything with us about Lola’s care. Would book Cassidy over and over!”

“I couldn't be happier with how Nancy cared for my two pups! From the very beginning, she was incredibly sweet, loving, and attentive. She took the time to play with them and keep them active. My dogs were so happy, and I had total peace of mind while I was away. Nancy is a fantastic pet sitter, 100% recommended!”

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is my natural ability to understand a dog’s demeanor and adapt to each dog’s individual personality and needs. As a dog owner myself, I have hands-on experience caring for and training two dogs. I successfully potty-trained both of my dogs and taught them a variety of tricks, commands, and skills. My patience, attentiveness, and ability to build trust with animals allow me to provide personalized, compassionate care for every dog I look after. Currently I am in school part time so I have plenty of time to play with pups and give them a happy, healthy, fun day away from their family. I have two friendly pups Oreo and Ozzie that loves all animals and caring for our pups is an important responsibility because they depend on us for their health, safety, and happiness. Dogs provide unconditional love and companionship, so they deserve to be treated with the same kindness and care they give to us. That’s how I care for all animals. I truly am a lover of all pets.
“John is amazing! He is very accommodating with his time. Came to meet the pack the week before the schedule date. The dogs loved him. Then the day before scheduled sit I had to reschedule for the following week due to illness. He was able and willing to change dates. I will definitely rebook with him.”
About: I’ve always loved being around animals and making sure they get the best care. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, and small pets. I’m comfortable with any animal! I’m currently a full time nanny but during the school year, I have some availability from about 9Am to 12PM Monday- Thursday. I’m also available after about 5:30 PM Monday- Friday. I have 6 cats and 2 guinea pigs that I take care of in my home. They all get fed daily and cleaned up after.
“Jesse was absolutely amazing!!! She went above and beyond anything we could have expected. She took phenomenal care of our dogs and loved on them like they were her own. Her communication was impeccable. We will most definitely be repeat customers. If you’re looking to have peace of mind while you’re away, and if you’re looking for someone that you can trust to take care of your 4 legged babies, Jesse is your person!”

About: I’ve cared for animals for 20 years — big dogs, small dogs, cats, goats, chickens, roosters, parrots, and fish. I’m also a husky mom who understands high-energy breeds and sensitive personalities. I treat every pet the way I want my own cared for: with patience, love, and attention to their routine. I’m reliable, calm, and great with shy, quirky, or anxious pets. I handle feeding, walks, meds, playtime, enrichment, and keeping their space clean. You’ll get updates and photos so you always know they’re safe and happy. Your pet becomes part of my family while they’re with me. I have a flexible schedule and work from home, so it’s easy for me to check in, walk, or stay with your pet when you need me. Just tell me your routine and I’ll match it. 😊 Your pet’s safety and comfort come first. I follow your routine exactly, keep a close eye on behavior, and make sure they always feel secure. I give lots of love, calm energy, and quick communication so you always know they’re safe.
“Rachel was great! Very friendly and came over beforehand so we could show her around. We gave pretty detailed directions for our cats and she did a great job and was very communicative. Would definitely book with her again.”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was a little girl and they have always been a huge part of my life. I can’t imagine not having dogs in my home. I love dogs so much and always have. I always had 2+ dogs in my family growing up. I have a fenced in yard now which has been so helpful. We live in a quiet neighborhood with sidewalks which is perfect for going on walks! I promise to spoil, care and love for your dog as if they were my own. My priority is that they feel safe, loved and have fun! I will be sure to send you photos of your fur baby while you’re away! We have plenty of toys too - a toy bin in just about every room! I work from home 5 days a week, and have a lot of flexibility. I do online analytical work with limited phone calls which is nice. During the day, I’ll take breaks to bring my dogs for walks outside and while I work they usually will lay by me in my office on their beds! I have a fenced in backyard and have two friendly dogs of my own to keep your dog company. I work from home Monday through Friday so I’m always around. Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Denver. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
