“My cats are old and I was definitely nervous leaving them, but Juliana was great! She took really good care of them. She communicated with me if she had any concerns and/or questions and she sent pictures! Will definitely rebook again in the future if needed !”

“Whether it’s last-minute or planned way in advance, Nancy always delivers. She loves my dog Leo and it shows in how she talks about him and cares for him. In photos and videos she sends me, Leo looks like he’s having more fun with her than he does with me! 😉 And Nancy gladly brings in mail and packages and leaves them in a secure place. Highly recommended!”

“Thank you so much, Autumn, for taking such wonderful care of Molly and Bella. I really appreciate the time, attention, and kindness you gave them at lunchtimes. It means a lot to know they were in such good hands. You did a great job, and I’m grateful for your help.”

“Rachel was great! Very friendly and came over beforehand so we could show her around. We gave pretty detailed directions for our cats and she did a great job and was very communicative. Would definitely book with her again.”
About: I have a huge heart for all animals and have experience working at Camp Wagging Tails, a day camp and boarding facility for dogs and cats in Cornelius. I treat others dogs as if they were my own. I have been petsitting for 6 years and received my clients by the word of mouth and am wanting to grow my business along with the help of my mom. My mom has helped me with this journey and provides drop in visits and walks through the day while I am at work and I take over in the evening and overnight. We currently provide overnight pet sitting, dog walks, and drop by visits throughout the day. We are willing to provide services in the Denver and Lake Norman area. We will send updates and pictures daily of your pets while you are away. We look forward to spending time with your pups! Between my mom and I, your pup will be in its normal routine with feeding, walks, potty breaks and play time! No stress for the pets or family while away. Keeping the pets in their routine with feeding, medications (if needed) potty breaks and play time. We allow the pets to be comfortable in their own home. I’m currently working full time at the hospital. Me And my mom have been in the Petsitting business for years. Mom takes care of the daily visits while I’m at work and I do more of the overnight stays. I provide services by watching the pets in the clients home. We try to stay as close to their typical routine as possible with feeding, walks, potty breaks, meds…
About: I have 2 high energy dogs, one is 10 years old and the other is 10 weeks! I trained my older dog when we got him. I groom my dogs and clip their nails. I am a part time graduate student and have a lot of time to watch your pets! I am a home body and have plenty of time for every animal! I have an open yard and stay outside with my dogs while they go potty and will leash if necessary. I also have a crate.

About: I grew up with both cats and dogs! I’ve dog sat for my friends and family multiple times. I have a rescue dog of my own who needs extra care and she’s the best thing that’s ever happened to my husband and I! Some might argue that I prefer pets over people and I won’t disagree. Currently making a career switch and taking time to really focus on what makes me happy! My passion for caring for animals never goes unnoticed. I have a fully fenced in yard. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lowesville. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
