“I’ve had Heather come check in on my pet twice now and both times have been fantastic! She’s great at communicating and is so kind and attentive to my kitten!!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Arrell! He provided amazing drop in care for my dogs and treated them like his own. I received regular updates, photos, and could tell my pups were happy, comfortable, and well cared for while I was away. It gave me such peace of mind knowing someone so reliable and kind was checking in on them. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again!”

“Simone was amazing with our pup Chippy. She was very prompt for her drop ins and made sure we were updated every second. She took plenty of photos to ensure he was getting the best care. I would definitely recommend her for your pet needs.”

“Amanda was great! Always on time for her drop in visits and communicated well. Even took extra time to make sure our cat's gps tracker was charged and working. Will book again when needed.”

“Shakoya was absolutely amazing! She took great care of my dog and made the whole experience stress free. My flight was delayed, and she was incredibly accommodating and flexible, which I truly appreciated. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and understanding pet sitter. Thank you again, Shakoya!”

“She was incredible! My cats loved her, even my little girl cat who has never let anyone else pet her! She left my house perfect and everyone was happy when we got home. Extremely good communication, will definitely book again!!”

About: I have spent a few years volunteering at my local animal shelter to walk the dogs and help take care of the cats. I have spent most of my life raising puppies. I also have experience with dog sitting for my family and friends. I'm in class during the morning until 2 pm and I work part-time on the weekends, I have plenty of time to care for your pup! I live in a townhouse with a small fenced-in yard, I have plenty of room to supply a crate if need be. I do not own any pets so, your pup will feel like the king/queen of the house
“Maren was very punctual and took great care of my pup! Also, she was very considerate of our cat being an escape artist. Would definitely recommend and will reach out to her again for future visits!!”

“It took a little time to establish a smooth communication rhythm, which is understandable. However, June quickly adapted and demonstrated a clear understanding of my instructions. I truly appreciated her attentive care and the peace of mind she provided while I was away.”

“Annie did a great job with my dogs. I was so thankful that she was able to be flexible with my schedule that changed several times. She kept me up date with how the dogs were doing. I would definitely recommend her.”

“Jack was absolutely amazing! I had to go to New York and needed someone to walk and care for my dog, and he exceeded all my expectations. He was very responsive, professional, and genuinely cared for my dog. He sent me lots of pictures and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. He even accommodated my last-minute request without hesitation, and I couldn’t be more grateful. It’s clear that he loves animals and treats them like they’re his own. I highly recommend Jack to anyone looking for someone reliable, trustworthy, and caring. I’ll definitely be using his services again!”

“Serefina was wonderful with our 3 cats! They’re typically very shy around new people but she got them to come out on the first day and play. She sent lots of pics and we felt so happy that our cats loved her. Highly recommend for any your pet sitting needs!”

“This is the second time Zora has cared for Blue on short notice. I was new to the platform and didn't know what to expect, but she has been responsive, sweet, and reliable. I will definitely continue to request Zora. I'm so thankful for her. We truly appreciate you, Zora!”

“A real life saver! She was able to check-in on my dogs with less than 12hrs of notice when something urgent came up taking me out of state and did a great job taking care of them and providing me with an update! I really appreciated her pictures and her level of communication”

Sierra was awesome 👏 she was so sweet with our cat Daisy Mae and sent lots of photos at each drop in visit and was here promptly at each visit our cat is skittish and she came out for belly rubs at the second visit would definitely have Sierra back again for Daisy Mae thanks Sierra !!

Kristin did a great job looking after our 2 doodle dogs and Mia our new kitty. Special attention was needed for our Luca pup as he is only 1 week post knee surgery and is on very strict limited activity and having to be carried up and down stairs- leash potty walk only, and is in a leg sling that has to be wrapped on and off for every potty. Kristin provided the special care that was needed. Will definitely request her again!!

Jamie is truly the best when it comes to caring for our pets! 💕 She goes above and beyond every single time — giving the sweetest updates, asking thoughtful and intuitive questions, and capturing the most adorable photos of our cats 🐾. It’s clear she genuinely loves and understands animals, and that makes all the difference. We always feel completely at ease knowing our cat crew is in her caring, capable hands 😻. Thank you so much, Jamie, for treating our fur babies like your own — we appreciate you more than words can say! 🐱💖

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Mount Holly. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
