8. Kameron A.
“My family and I have gone through so many pet day cares and sitters and have never been fully satisfied untill we found kam. Our breed is very unique great dane/ pit bull with lots of allergies and health issues (180 lbs)his name is gargamel💕 My husband had a double back fusion which forced me to work 3 jobs and we have small children. Kam came into our lives when she was supposed to.Not only was she picking up our dog daily sometimes 4 to 5 hrs a day, she also would go above and beyond offering us overnight services and at one point she had gargamel for 2 weeks !!! Never have we found a more kind, trustworthy, person who could care for our dog ! Rain/shine/or snow she was there. We feel like we’re loesing a member of our family as she makes this new move and I don’t think we will ever find anyone like her again💕when we interviewed her we explained our dogs heath issues were extremely serious and she took them just as serious as our family does she would even help us with knowledge of other heath remedies for us to try. Again we can not say enough about her other then she will be greatly missed and who ever has her care for there dogs will be very lucky”

About: Last year I needed care for my senior dogs and noticed there was a need for more senior/special need pet care takers in our area in which led me here! I was so nervous leaving my girls with a stranger and wanted to be able to help provide peace and comfort to others who feel the way I did. My childhood dog (Nelly) lived to be 19 years old. When she became a senior, I learned so much as she needed extra attention and to live life a little slower. That’s when senior dogs began to hold a special place in my heart. My other two childhood dogs are now 14 (Hoho) and 15 (Sole) years old and have taught me even more. They have had some special needs along the way. With my “Golden Girls”, as I like to call them, I have gained experience with blindness, hearing loss, skin allergies, wheelchair use/lifting needed, diapering, medication, anxiety, and aggression. Many years ago I worked in a dog daycare and did pet care for a few families/friends. I also have had cats, a rabbit, hamsters and leopard geckos when I was younger. I am comfortable and confident in caring for them too. My profile is mostly geared towards my in-home boarding but I do offer drop in services after 6PM within a short distance from my home and overnight stays. I’d be happy to check in on your cat(s),dog(s), or other animals! I’m with my dogs 98% of the time. I am at home all day. I only leave for a few hours at a time when I have errands to run and often times the Golden girls ride with me (no pressure for your dogs to take car rides, just an option if it’s something they enjoy!) We go outside in our backyard every few hours for the girls to potty. They spend a lot of time napping, they are fairly low energy dogs except for Sole’s zoomies and Hoho likes to dig outside. We go for short walks, I have a pet stroller and wagon for any babe(s) who are unable to walk and want to join. Hoho enjoys the outdoors and Sole likes the indoors so we balance our time to please both girls. **Updated daycare change- If your babe(s) is staying for 8 hours or under, the charge will be the regular daycare price listed on my profile. If you are looking to book for over 8 hours, I will modify the charge to be the same price as a boarding stay, making it an “extended stay” daycare visit. You will first be informed of this and have to approve it. Rover has not yet came out with “extended stay” for daycare visits option, only for overnights. I have sent in a request to Rover to add this in and discussed my new plan of action for my personal business. I am happy to discuss this further with anyone who has any questions, please reach out! Scratches, belly rubs, kisses, treats, and uplifting/“baby” talks go on all throughout the day (unless not wanted of course!). I only accept lower energy dogs as my girls do not have interest in playtime with other dogs and just like to relax. Whichever room I am in at my home, I am followed by the Golden Girls! I know exactly where they are at all times. They make themselves comfortable on all couches and beds and also they have their own beds and blankets throughout our home. We currently only have partial fencing in our yard so I will put on your dog(s) collar/harness and leash with each potty break or I have a small dog gate if that’s preferred. I have gates I can put up in my home as well if we need to block any areas off. I have kennels too. For night time, your dog will be in the same room as I sleep in (unless they prefer elsewhere) so I can keep an ear out for them incase they need me. We are a household of adults, no children except on Fridays my 5 year old niece stays. She’s been raised with our dogs and is very caring with them. If your dog does not prefer children, we will have her keep her distance. I’ll keep you updated on your babe(s) through the day if you’d like, plenty of photos/videos, and we can FaceTime if you’d like. Your animals will be treated as if they are my own with love, care, and safety. I will treat them as my own as that’s what I seek when someone cares for my dogs and I know how hard is can be to leave them. You can leave in peace and relax knowing they are in a loving home! I am happy to adapt to their lifestyle and needs to make them comfortable.

19. Jennifer A.
“Jen is my niece and I highly recommend her as a dog walker. She loves dogs and will treat them like her own. She will shower them with love and affection. She will be helping them, as they will also be filling the void left by her two babies that she no longer has. She's equally great with people, so you'll feel very comfortable entrusting your special buddy with her.”
20. Randall H.
“I’ve known Randall for a few years now and I regularly visit him and his dog Chloe at their home. Every time I see Chloe, she’s happy and clearly loves her owner. Randall is very consistent about his care for Chloe-walks and meals on a regular schedule. He doesn’t overfeed her or give her “people food.” Randall is gentle with Chloe on walks and takes her on a long walk every day. I’ve also seen Randall with my dogs, and they love him and he loves them too. I feel that Randall will make a great caregiver for dogs, even if they aren’t his own. He’s very compassionate towards dogs and Chloe is well behaved and extremely content - she has everything she needs. I hope you’ll seriously consider Randall for this position as he would be a great fit!”
