Brendan did two drop in visits for my two dogs and I have nothing but good things to say about our experience. He’s punctual, great communication, and follows all of my annoying instructions. He does well with both my senior dog and my younger anxious dog, leaving us with happy pups when we get home. We are booking him again for our week long vacation in August.

Heather was so amazing with my girls! We hired her last minute for a trip and she came through like a champ. She was able to manage my anxious stranger danger old girl with ease. I really appreciate how she sat on the floor with her at the meet and greet and really let her get to know her. I would definitely hire her again.

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is my natural ability to understand a dog’s demeanor and adapt to each dog’s individual personality and needs. As a dog owner myself, I have hands-on experience caring for and training two dogs. I successfully potty-trained both of my dogs and taught them a variety of tricks, commands, and skills. My patience, attentiveness, and ability to build trust with animals allow me to provide personalized, compassionate care for every dog I look after. Currently I am in school part time so I have plenty of time to play with pups and give them a happy, healthy, fun day away from their family. I have two friendly pups Oreo and Ozzie that loves all animals and caring for our pups is an important responsibility because they depend on us for their health, safety, and happiness. Dogs provide unconditional love and companionship, so they deserve to be treated with the same kindness and care they give to us. That’s how I care for all animals. I truly am a lover of all pets.

About: I have been a dog mom for the past ten years, and a pet sitter for friends and family for the past 5 years. My boys are 7year old and 10 month old golden retriever brothers Zeus and Percy. Golden retrievers embody the phrase ‘gentle giants’ and they have provided me the sweetest companionship. I enjoy taking them on walks and nature hikes locally, watching them go absolutely bananas at the beach, dressing them in matching outfits, and trying to teach them to share their toys. I am comfortable with a wide variety of breeds, and have experience with specialized diets, medications and many ‘quirks’! I’m currently a SAHM in the Lincolnton area. I have pretty open availability for pet care throughout my day with a courtesy 3 day notice provided. Regular feedings including dietary preferences. Stimulating walks with plenty of sniff stops! Sensory play including color appropriate toys to encourage playtime. Grooming if needed, cuddles and snuggles!

Kelly did a fantastic job taking care of our cat. This was the first time we hired a pet sitter so we were a little nervous about how our 16-year old Rascal would do. Kelly alleviated all our concerns and did a wonderful job. Having the notification of each visit and pictures is a real bonus. Would definitely hire Kelly again! And rover.com makes everything so simple and easy.

Whether you need drop-in visits, dog walking, or overnight pet sitting, my goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’ve spent years caring for dogs and other pets for family, friends, and neighbors, and I’ve always had a love for animals. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine, so I take the time to get to know them and provide care that’s tailored to their individual needs. I am currently a student at UNC Charlotte but I have a flexible schedule. I would love to work with you to set a weekly schedule for walking your pup! About: Hello Families! My name is Aaliyah, and I am a 20-year-old community college student transitioning from a career in hospital housekeeping to providing in-home care for dogs, cats, and babies. My passion for caring for all creatures runs deep, and I treat each one with the same love and attention as if they were my own. Over the years, I've gained valuable experience caring for a variety of dogs, from playful puppies to gentle pit bulls. Additionally, I have been babysitting my nephew since his birth, dedicating at least 18 hours a day to his care. He is now four months old, and this experience has enriched my understanding of infant care. I also have experience dog sitting for my neighbors while they were out of town, which has been incredibly rewarding. It brings me joy to know that I am helping families by providing peace of mind and comfort, knowing they can trust me with their beloved pets and children. If my skills and availability meet your needs, I would love the opportunity to work with your family. I am available seven days a week, from morning to overnight, and can adjust my schedule upon request. My pay rate ranges from $100 to $150 daily. I look forward to the possibility of working with you and providing exceptional care for your loved ones! Warm regards, Aaliyah I am currently looking for a job in the sitting community. I am available upon request. As well as being flexible to fit what’s best. Your fur babies will love my neighborhood. Every corner you’ll see someone with their own. Emily was reliable, communicative, and patient while taking care of my senior pup. Buckshot is very picky about the people he let's close, but took to her quickly. Typically he gets anxious when I'm on extended work trips, but this time he was smiling in every picture Emily sent! 10/10

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was a little girl and they have always been a huge part of my life. I can’t imagine not having dogs in my home. I love dogs so much and always have. I always had 2+ dogs in my family growing up. I have a fenced in yard now which has been so helpful. We live in a quiet neighborhood with sidewalks which is perfect for going on walks! I promise to spoil, care and love for your dog as if they were my own. My priority is that they feel safe, loved and have fun! I will be sure to send you photos of your fur baby while you’re away! We have plenty of toys too - a toy bin in just about every room! I work from home 5 days a week, and have a lot of flexibility. I do online analytical work with limited phone calls which is nice. During the day, I’ll take breaks to bring my dogs for walks outside and while I work they usually will lay by me in my office on their beds! I have a fenced in backyard and have two friendly dogs of my own to keep your dog company. I work from home Monday through Friday so I’m always around. Our neighborhood is very safe and quiet with sidewalks for going on walks! I promise to treat your dog as if they were my own!

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Denver stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Denver choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Denver with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Denver. On Rover:

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
