About: I have taken care of a wide variety of dog and cat breeds since I was old enough to stay home on my own. Professionally, since I was licensed, I have been pet sitting, walking and doing drop-ins for family, friends and neighbors. I have experience with dogs of several breeds and ages, with specialized care regimens. With cats I have a healthy experience and I still pet sit for a parent who has eleven cats, all with unique personalities and needs, and I live with two of my own. I posses the patience required to care for your pet who may require extra time, attention, and understanding to meet their care needs. I've recently completed some very successful pet sits in Pennsylvania, Virginia, New York, and Colorado. In the new year, I will be back in Virginia and then onto New Mexico. I used to have a black lab named Mollie who passed away and I still carry her dog tags on my key chain to this day (growing up, we also had several shetland ponies). Mollie was a very special puppy. I have had many experiences caring for pets of all ages, including those very active youngin's, those with a little more years under their belt, and those in need of medical attention . According to my experiences, clients are very specific about the care they would like to have for their family pet(s). Usually they leave me detailed instructions highlighting feeding schedules, walking instructions, play likes/dislikes, medication schedules, and any other instructions needed for me to provide the best care possible for their specific pet's needs.
