“She was amazing. She was in time stayed and did everything we asked. She took pictures everyday and gave us updates. By far one of the best on the site. Will be using her again”

About: I love both cats and dogs. I have bathed several pets and also clipped their nails. I learned how to bottle feed when I first got my cats. I have been able to teach my dogs to sit, lay down, and "do paw" which they will put there paw in my hand. I am enrolled part time in community college and take mostly online classes. I have plenty of time to check on your pets and let them out for potty breaks or playtime/ keeping them company! I promise to do my best to care for your fur babies. I have a big heart for animals and love to help. I am always taking care of my pets at home and assuring they're health and happiness!
“Brad did a great job staying with our dog in our home. She is very new to our family (adopted < 2 weeks ago), so we were a little nervous leaving her overnight. Brad came in with confidence, brought all of his own supplies for his stay, and was great about sending us pictures to help us know Josie was doing just fine while we were away. He is a real pro at this!”

“My new go-to dog sitter. I’ve had a lot of bad experiences on Rover, especially having a 70 pound highly anxious lab which most people can’t handle or are afraid of. Safe to say I was little anxious leaving them (lab + two cats) alone for a few days on break, however, I had absolutely nothing to worry about. Hes basically with the babies 24/7 which is exactly what I needed. He’s flexible which helps if you don’t have a steady schedule. Overall a positive experience and will be booking with him again. All my babies were in good hands and it honestly seem like they didn’t miss me very much lol.”

“As first-time clients with two energetic dogs, we couldn’t be happier with Caitlin. She is very reliable & kind and clearly an animal lover. Her communication was excellent providing us peace of mind while away. We are beyond thankful for such a positive experience and highly recommend her services!!”

“Heather is amazing! She took great care of my two dogs- one with dementia/anxiety who needs extra love. She followed the dogs normal schedules, administered medications, and exercised their bodies and brains. She also left the house very clean. It was so nice to come home to calm dogs and a clean house! Thank you Heather!”

“Mira has been nothing short of amazing with my big dog and three cats. She’s patient, gentle, and truly understands each of their personalities. Her communication is excellent, always feel updated and at ease, and her sweet, calm energy makes my pets adore her. Mira is smart, reliable, and someone I trust completely with my little (and not-so-little!) crew. I couldn’t recommend her more!”

About: As a lifelong animal lover with extensive professional experience in both the pet boarding and veterinary industries, I understand the importance of providing pets with safe, reliable, and compassionate care. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments, ensuring their physical well-being, comfort, and happiness. My background in veterinary operations has given me valuable knowledge of animal health, behavior, medication administration, and recognizing signs that a pet may need additional attention. In addition, my experience managing pet boarding facilities has allowed me to care for pets in a variety of settings while maintaining high standards of safety. Whether your dog needs a walk, drop-in visit, or extra companionship while you're away, I will treat them like one of my own. I am dependable, attentive, and committed to providing every pet with the exercise, affection, and individualized care they deserve, giving pet parents peace of mind while they're away. When your pet stays with me, you can expect a calm, loving, and attentive environment where they are truly cared for like family. I have extensive experience in both pet boarding and veterinary operations, so I’m comfortable handling pets of all personalities, sizes, and needs. I currently have a flexible schedule and am not working another job, which means I have plenty of time to spend with your furry baby—whether that’s playing, going on walks, or simply giving them companionship and attention throughout the day. I’m available for drop-in visits, long walks, and boarding either in your home or mine, depending on what works best for you and your pet. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they are in responsible, loving hands. Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets in my home or a client’s home. I follow each pet’s routine closely to help them feel secure, relaxed, and cared for. Pets are always supervised, and I provide a safe, clean environment for rest, play, and daily care. I have a fenced yard for secure outdoor time, and I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and well-being. I follow all instructions exactly as provided, including feeding, medications, and special routines. When in a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. My goal is to provide dependable, attentive care so pet parents feel confident and at ease while they’re away.
“had liz watch our 3 little dogs (one being a senior) she did great with communication while we were gone. I felt comfortable with her staying in our home the week we needed her. i left her a small cheat sheet of things we went over in the meet and greet to ensure she felt comfortable too.”

About: Hi! I'm Bridget. I'm new to Rover and recently moved to Davidson, but I've spent years caring for dogs and understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets. As a dog mom to two pups with very different personalities and needs, I'm comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply wants companionship and cuddles, I'll make sure they receive personalized care and attention. I know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so I prioritize communication and will keep you updated with photos and messages while you're away. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving you peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! 🐾💕 Since I recently moved to Davidson and work part time from home much, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable care throughout the day. I enjoy getting outside for walks and spending time with animals, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or some extra attention while you're away, I'm happy to work with your schedule and their needs. 🐾 I believe every pet is happiest when their normal routine is maintained, so I take the time to learn each pet's preferences, schedule, and any special instructions. In a client's home, I'll follow your care instructions closely, ensure your pet has plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, and keep your home clean and secure while you're away. Safety is always my top priority. I'll use secure leashes and harnesses during walks, monitor pets closely, and make sure they have access to fresh water, a comfortable environment, and any medications or special care they require. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for.
“I’m so happy I found Lisa! I’m a little bit of a neurotic mom to a dog that has separation anxiety, that I rescued about seven years ago. Chrissy was well taken care of not to mention the great care she took of my home while she was here.”

“John has now taken care of our two bulldogs several times. Most recently we were away for 10 days. The dogs were well cared for and seemed content when we came home. John also brought in the mail and took care of a few things around the house. John is reliable and thoughtful. We will definitely ask him to care for our girls in the future.”

About: Throughout the years, I've cared for an array of different animals and other species, of my own. For the past 3 years, I've been blessed, to have established trusting relationships with pet parents, and their pooches, at the same time, doing what I love, taking care of animals, walking dogs, and pet sitting, (during that time), in lower Manhattan, before recently making the move to NC, thereafter, joining Rover, where I'd like to continue, what I believe to be, my true purpose in life. I take animal welfare extremely serious. I am attentive, and in tune, to the animals body language, and communication. Caring for animals, in this life, is my calling, and what I'm meant to do, in the name of all animals, in the Pet Care Industry. Previously, I was working part-time, (outside of petcare) to earn a paycheck, while establishing and building new relationships with pet parents, and their pooches, through the Rover Platform. Am I grateful, now I am able to make a full time commitment, on account of new clients, whom have afforded me the opportunity, in caring, for their fur babies. I Thank You. Always do I follow, ALL client given instructions, for their pooch. Using the knowledge of my own experience, and common sense, in unpredictable situations, that may arise.
“Amanda was AMAZING house sitting our two dogs and cat. She sent updates frequently including pictures. Our house was just as we left it. Will definitely use Amanda again!”

“Lillian did an awesome job watching Scarlett over the weekend. Scarlett can be pretty anxious and high energy, so I’m always a little cautious leaving her with someone new, but she took to Lillian right away, which says a lot. Lillian was very responsive the entire time and clearly put in the effort to work with Scarlett, not just watch her. That meant a lot to me knowing she was in good hands while I was away. Would definitely recommend her and will be reaching out again in the future.”

“Julia did a great job with Nima. My dog doesn’t trust very easily but she was patient and loving and after a few days Nima totally took to her. I am very grateful for how well she took care of her and how much love she showed her. I highly recommend Julia.”

Westport pet parents share their Rover experiences
Amanda was absolutely amazing! She stayed 6 nights with our high energy GSP mix and my parents English Setter (who is known to nip people). The dogs loved her! She communicated daily with pictures and videos. She threw the ball all the time for our “ball obsessed” GSP. She even cleaned up the house before she left! We will definitely use her services again!

We had a great experience with Cat! She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about our pet like her own. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Everything was well taken care of, and we came home to happy pets and a tidy space. Would absolutely book with Cat again and highly recommend!
