“She was amazing. She was in time stayed and did everything we asked. She took pictures everyday and gave us updates. By far one of the best on the site. Will be using her again”

“Amanda was on time, asked pertinent questions, and sent regular photos while watching our dog. We were very comfortable with her care and will absolutely use her again!!!”

About: Hi! I'm Bridget. I'm new to Rover and recently moved to Davidson, but I've spent years caring for dogs and understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets. As a dog mom to two pups with very different personalities and needs, I'm comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply wants companionship and cuddles, I'll make sure they receive personalized care and attention. I know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so I prioritize communication and will keep you updated with photos and messages while you're away. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving you peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! 🐾💕 Since I recently moved to Davidson and work part time from home much, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable care throughout the day. I enjoy getting outside for walks and spending time with animals, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or some extra attention while you're away, I'm happy to work with your schedule and their needs. 🐾 I believe every pet is happiest when their normal routine is maintained, so I take the time to learn each pet's preferences, schedule, and any special instructions. In a client's home, I'll follow your care instructions closely, ensure your pet has plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, and keep your home clean and secure while you're away. Safety is always my top priority. I'll use secure leashes and harnesses during walks, monitor pets closely, and make sure they have access to fresh water, a comfortable environment, and any medications or special care they require. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for.
“Very communicative and loved on my pup the way we would! So comfortable having her in our home and loved the pics she sent so we continued to know he was in good hands!”

About: Hi! I'm a dependable animal lover with a very flexible schedule and a soft spot for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I know leaving your pet with someone new can be stressful, so I do my best to make the experience easy for both you and your pup. Expect lots of love, attention, photo updates, and a sitter who will care for your pet like family. I can't wait to meet your furry best friend! My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to be available for a variety of pet care needs throughout the week. I love spending time with animals and am happy to work with your pet's routine to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you're away. I understand that pets feel most comfortable in their familiar environment, so I focus on maintaining their normal routine while you're away. I'll carefully follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, exercise needs, and any special requests. My goal is to help your pet feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while giving you peace of mind through regular updates and photos.
“My new go-to dog sitter. I’ve had a lot of bad experiences on Rover, especially having a 70 pound highly anxious lab which most people can’t handle or are afraid of. Safe to say I was little anxious leaving them (lab + two cats) alone for a few days on break, however, I had absolutely nothing to worry about. Hes basically with the babies 24/7 which is exactly what I needed. He’s flexible which helps if you don’t have a steady schedule. Overall a positive experience and will be booking with him again. All my babies were in good hands and it honestly seem like they didn’t miss me very much lol.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for two years now family ,friends have asked me to take there dogs out walk them and bathe them I’ve also worked for animal bathing companies I currently have a part time job so I’m available to take care of your fur babies anytime before 4 pm on weekdays and weekends I have a fenced yard and one fur baby I can crate my dog if needed I’m also willing to pet sit in your home
“Heather is amazing! She took great care of my two dogs- one with dementia/anxiety who needs extra love. She followed the dogs normal schedules, administered medications, and exercised their bodies and brains. She also left the house very clean. It was so nice to come home to calm dogs and a clean house! Thank you Heather!”

“Caitlin always takes such great care of our babies! She is great at giving updates and I always have such peace of mind leaving my girls with her. She is also a great house guest and leaves our house spotless every time. Our fur babies are always so calm and happy when we return and we can tell that they have been well cared for and loved on. I definitely highly recommend her if you are looking for a sitter! 😊”

“Lillian was very good about communicating with me regarding times she was here, walks, and monitoring the heat with Chloe. My pup seemed well taken care of and I am glad I found Lillian to stay at my home in Chloe’s environment. Would definitely book again.”

About: My favorite childhood memories are that with my German Shepherds Carson and Lady and my Chihuahua Nukiums. When in college I dog walked and pet sat my boss' French bulldog Beatrice and her lovely cat Ms. Kitty. Though Ms. Kitty only used me for a quick rub and for me to fill her bowls, Beatrice and I went on plenty of errands together. Currently I have a Silky Terrier named Rocky, a cat named Nipsey (who hides from visitors:), a rabbit named Daisy and two pet loving children who would love to have playdates with your furry family member. My kids and I have lots of energy. We are used to walking Rocky and letting him play in the backyard several times a day from 6am-9pm. If you would like a friendly dog walker, or someone to check on your cats I would love to help! I even enjoy watering plants and taking care of exotic pets if needed. I am a teacher so I am off during the summer and would otherwise add your pet care and checkins into my daily routine. I also have two kids ages 8 and 14 who love animals and will sometimes ask to come along and help out. I usually walk my dog once a day and let him enjoy the backyard for 5-15 minutes (depending on the weather) three times a day. However, I prefer to cater to your schedule which is why I usually request to have a meet and greet.
“Lisa was absolutely wonderful. She took care of our three dogs. I got picture updates of them being loved on and cuddled. I even came home to fresh sheets and she tidied up the yard. Very much appreciated. Thank you! The dogs can’t wait to have you back.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have such a love for them. I know that dogs are more than just pets-they are part of the family! My family has had basset hounds for my whole life, so I have seen and loved them at every stage of life. I’ve done my share of dog care for them, including walking, feeding, giving medicine, ear-care, and brushing fur (my dog’s personal favorite)! I have also taken care of friends’ dogs, ranging all sizes and ages, when they have been out of town as well! I’m currently a teacher on summer break so I have a pretty open schedule! I can be very flexible with what times I am needed and if you need me to be very specific at the times I take care of your pets I will absolutely do that-I know lots of doggos need or get used to certain times for care! If you let me know what areas for walking are at your home, I am happy to follow whatever route you normally go on or would like for them to-same if you have a neighborhood dog park! I’m very active so I’m happy to walk/run with them as far as they need! If you need assistance with my giving them food and/or medicine, just let me know where it is and how much to give and I am happy to do that!
“We have booked Gracie for a few different services now. Most recently Gracie house sat for me and did a great job! Thank you Gracie for always being a great house guest and keeping my anxiety at bay with all your updates.”

“Julia did a great job with Nima. My dog doesn’t trust very easily but she was patient and loving and after a few days Nima totally took to her. I am very grateful for how well she took care of her and how much love she showed her. I highly recommend Julia.”

About: I have taken care of a wide variety of dog and cat breeds since I was old enough to stay home on my own. Professionally, since I was licensed, I have been pet sitting, walking and doing drop-ins for family, friends and neighbors. I have experience with dogs of several breeds and ages, with specialized care regimens. With cats I have a healthy experience and I still pet sit for a parent who has eleven cats, all with unique personalities and needs, and I live with two of my own. I posses the patience required to care for your pet who may require extra time, attention, and understanding to meet their care needs. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of advanced age who need specialized care such as medication administration, teeth brushing, incontinence assistance and working with hearing loss. Beyond older pets, I am familiar with dogs who may be unpredictable with others and have experience with redirection, avoidance and communicating to others to not approach. Finally, I have experience with anxious pets that require reassurance, quality time and play to be fulfilled by their sitter. I am currently not working outside of pet-sitting and have the time and drive to provide the level of care your pet deserves. My own cats are on a specific feeding schedule and do require my being home to feed them around 2pm every day. I aim to take all considerations into account to provide for you and your pet family. Clear communication and understanding expectations is how I may best serve your furry friends. I like to follow instruction to the letter and keep safety of all parties a priority. In this area of work my approach is to not guess if I do not know, better to always ask for clarity when uncertain and look for the same in clients.

I work 8-4 Monday through Friday, but I am available for midday potty breaks or playtime during the workday. I am also available for evening care after 5pm on weekdays and boarding on both weekends and weekday evenings. I am happy to work with you to accommodate your pet's specific schedule and needs. Your pet's comfort and well-being will always come first. I'll follow your instructions closely to keep your pet happy and stress-free and send daily updates about your fur baby. I do not have any other animal in my household, so your pet will always be my full focus and priority while in my care.

Lauren was the perfect pet sitter and house guest. She was responsive and even came by for a meet and greet before coming to stay during our vacation. Our senior dog requires daily medication and Lauren was comfortable administering. We came home to a very happy pup and a clean house. Will definitely look forward to reaching out to Lauren again when we go out of time. Thanks again, Lauren!

Jennifer stayed a couple of nights with my lab mix, Milo, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Milo can be a bit particular, especially with new people but Jennifer won him over almost immediately. It was clear she took the time to understand his personality and needs, and she picked up on how to use his e-collar quickly and confidently. I also really appreciated how respectful she was of my home—everything was left exactly as she found it. On top of that, Jennifer was excellent with communication. Since I’m new to having someone stay overnight to care for my pet, her updates and responsiveness gave me a lot of peace of mind. I would absolutely recommend Jennifer to anyone looking for a thoughtful, reliable, and attentive pet sitter.

Gabby was Great! She was able to help me in a pinch and watch my two pups 🐶. She was very attentive to my details of caring for them. She was a super communicative and sent lots of pictures of them both. She was awesome! I was super happy with Gabby as this is my first time on Rover and I was very hesitant. We will be using Gabby again!

A care provider cancelled two days before our trip and Staci agreed to provide last minute care for our 14 year old pup for a few days. Staci dropped in several times a day, sent updates on activity and feeding which included great photos, and we even got compliments from the neighbors as to how present she was while we were away on our trip. We could tell our pup was in great hands from day one which was very much appreciated. Staci was just incredible, and we are thankful.

Nicole is a great sitter! She was respectful of my space and took good care of my dogs. She seemed a little overwhelmed by Parker’s puppy energy but she rallied and made it work. I do wish she provided more frequent updates and pictures like some other sitters I’ve used but, overall, she’s a great sitter. I’d definitely book her again, especially for Preston who’s an older, more mellow dog.

When a family member cancelled on me last minute, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Found and booked Matthew last minute before an 8 day trip and he was nothing short of amazing. As this was my first time leaving my girl Aya with anyone other than family/friends, Matthew graciously agreed to meet us prior to his stay and gave me the confidence she’d be in great hands. Matthew was very responsive, provided updates as requested, and took excellent care of Aya. Additionally, Matthew cleaned up my place and even washed the sheets for my return. 11/10 would recommend & will most certainly be using him moving forward!

We recently had the pleasure of having Amanda sit for our dog while we were away on vacation, and we couldn't be happier with the experience! From the very beginning, Amanda showcased excellent communication. She kept us updated with messages and photos, which allowed us to relax while knowing our fur baby was in good hands. Amanda was not only attentive to our dog's needs but also went above and beyond to ensure he felt comfortable and loved. It was evident that she genuinely cares about pets, making her a perfect fit for our family. We are thrilled to recommend Amanda to anyone seeking a reliable and caring dog sitter. We are already looking forward to having her back for our next trip!
