“Tiffany did an amazing job taking care of my spooky cats. They are already warming up to her. Look forward to using her again and having someone I trust help me with the girls.”

“Renee is an absolute delight. Attentive and caring. She takes such good care of my big guy during their visits. She was kind enough to take care of an issue that I did not get to prior to my departure and it was a great surprise upon my return! Thanks Renee!”

“Kim was amazing!! We used her in a pinch and our animals took to her very quickly. I would highly recommend her. Quick communication, pictures every time she checked in and very respectful of the home.”

“Aaliyah is absolutely phenomenal with both of my pups. I have an old man (15yrs), and a young pup (4mos), so it is no easy task! She loves on both of my boys equally, sends me the cutest photos throughout the day, and keeps a close eye on any potential health issues for my senior guy. She goes above and beyond to make sure the dogs are happy, and I couldn’t be more grateful for it. The boys are always so calm and happy when I get home on days that she has stopped in to care for them. I couldn’t recommend her more!”
“This was my first time booking with Rover. Gracie made this an incredible experience. She was very responsive and eased my mind on any reservations I had. Highly recommend her ❤️”

“Casey did great, went out of town to visit family and was worried about my dogs being taken care of. He was prompt with great communication. I definitely recommend and will use again.”

“Helen took such good care of our guys. She went beyond and put on some animal documentaries for them to watch. She sent many pictures, asked questions, and was a great communicator. She obviously loves animals and they trust her, our more skeptical guy, warmed up to her quickly and giving her many leg rubs. Would highly recommend Helen!”

About: I have dog sat on and off for the last ten years for different friends and family members! I myself have two bully breed dogs, one of them being older and diabetic! I am a patient person, who always shows up and I understand the importance of not just trusting someone with your baby’s, but also your home. I have a warm personality that makes animals feel welcome that will give you comfort for when you are away! I am currently working part time as a self employed Hair Stylist with full flexibility of my scheduling! Looking to supplement income during the slower times! When visiting I am open minded to what you feel like your pet needs, if it is just someone to stop by and spend quality time, refill food bowls, outside fence play or a short walk around the neighborhood!

About: I’m a brand new sitter on the Rover app and I’m excited to be here! I have a lifetime of hands-on experience with animals of all sizes and personalities. Growing up, I was always the go-to pet sitter for friends and neighbors, and I spent years volunteering at animal shelters. For the past 10 years, my home has been a bustling, happy multi-pet household with four rescue fur babies of my own: two cats and two large dogs (a Doberman and a Greyhound). I no longer have animals in my house and I’d love to transition my love for animals to your household. Your babies will be loved, protected, and cared for with the exact same utmost attention I gave my own. I am familiar with caring for dogs who struggle with anxiety and aggression, having managed these traits with my own sweet Dobie. I work remotely Monday-Friday with open weekends. My daily work schedule is very flexible for drop-ins and walks at any time of the day. I also have a car, so I can get to you easily without issues! My top priority when caring for your pets in their own home is maintaining the safety, structure, and daily routines they depend on. I know that welcoming a new sitter requires a high level of trust, which is why I approach every visit with absolute respect and professionalism. I am highly organized, follow all care instructions exactly as written, and will make sure your pets are showered with the attention and affection they deserve.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Mount Mourne
Makenna helped us with last minute drop in visits for our cat while we were away for the weekend. She took great care of our cat for us and made sure to send daily updates with pictures. We returned home to a happy and healthy cat. We highly recommend her services.

Jessica is great. I have two cats and one of them is very shy and the other one is outgoing. They both loved her and I loved that in one of Jessica’s pictures. She actually got a picture of my shy cat rubbing up against her.😻 my cats are very good at judging good people

Deanna is amazing, we love her! The animals genuinely get excited for her. She’s the most reliable, caring and consistent sitter we’ve ever had. I am truly grateful that she’s around and does such a great job, she gives me peace of mind when I’m away from my fur-babies (and feather babies!!)

Outstanding service! Grace not only made us comfortable leaving our 2 kitties, she made them sooo happy while we were gone! She made sure they had food, water, clean litter every day. And, most important for our young kitties, she played with them with their favorite toys every day! I could not recommend Grace more highly. Her photos were assuring AND beautiful. Her reports were prose and made us feel comfortable leaving our fur babies behind. If you need a pet sitter-I hope Grace is available for you (unless we need her of course!)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
