🐾 Welcome to Archie & Friends Pet Care! Hello! My name is Deanna, and I am the proud owner of Archie and Friends Pet Care, LLC. I’m a lifelong animal advocate—a dog mom to a sweet Black Lab mix named Archie and a cat mom to a kitty named Juniper. While Archie and I love exploring hiking trails, Juniper prefers to supervise from the comfort of the couch! I understand that every pet has a unique personality and needs. Whether you have a furry, feathery, or scaly family member, I provide custom care tailored to them. I have extensive experience with senior pets, puppies, and kittens as well as pets with specialized diets and medical needs. My lifelong dedication to animal welfare includes volunteering with rescue groups like the Great Pyrenees Rescue of Western NC and the Humane Society of Catawba County. I offer flexible drop-ins, daily dog walking, and overnight stays. All drop-in bookings and walks are billed in 30-minute or 1-hour increments, but custom times are always welcome. Drop-in visits include a personalized mix of: Potty breaks backyard play, and waste pick-up Feeding and Water Refresh Litter Box Scooping Snuggle Time Playtime Light Brushing Medication Administration Cleaning/refreshing bedding for bunnies, birds, and reptiles Home Maintenance: Mail retrieval, rotating lights/blinds, trash, and watering plants Transportation to the vet or groomer Overnight bookings include all of the above, plus: Light home maintenance & keeping the house tidy Washing and replacing used bed linens/towels Dishwashing and trash removal Let's Connect! Safety, trust & environment
I will leave your home clean and follow your instructions. Drop-ins, walks, and overnight stays include checking on your home while you're away, bringing in mail, water plants, etc. If I'm there overnight your home will be as it was when you left and I wash bedding/towels, etc. and take out trash. You will also receive updates and photos so you know your fur kids are doing great! ***In order to finalize your reservation you must complete the booking process. A booking that says "pending" has NOT been finalized.

Such a calming presence for our high-strung GSD, Deanna made it through the gauntlet of barking, hiding, and moping until she finally decided that her new sitter was wonderful. We will 💯 call on Deanna again (if she’ll have us!!!)
Deanna is amazing, we love her! The animals genuinely get excited for her. She’s the most reliable, caring and consistent sitter we’ve ever had. I am truly grateful that she’s around and does such a great job, she gives me peace of mind when I’m away from my fur-babies (and feather babies!!)

Schedule
In March of 2025 I accepted a corporate job. My current working hours are 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM 4 days a week. I will typically leave overnight bookings for work around 6:40 AM and return around 12:00 PM to check on and walk my furry client before returning to work. I will return back to the booking from work around 5:00 PM. I am home Friday - Sunday and on holidays I am not working. ***not all of my bookings are through Rover so my availability on the Rover calendar is not accurate. If you are curious about my availability, send me a request for dates or message me! Thanks!
